Amir Khan knocked out American Zab Judah in the fifth round
Amir Khan knocked out American Zab Judah in the fifth round to add the IBF junior welterweight title to his WBA super lightweight crown in Las Vegas on Saturday night. The end came with a body shot that crumpled Judah (41-7, 28 KOs) to his knees. Judah appeared to be complaining afterwards that the punch was low but replays showed it was on the belt line and legal.
Prior to the stoppage, Khan (26-1, 18 KOs), had been dominant and aggressive, punishing Judah with a stiff left jab and straight right hands.

Muslims specially Pakistanis in the United States have come under much greater scrutiny and have been harassed for no reason other than that they fit a profile of muslim and Pakistani.
Despite holder of the World Boxing Association super lightweight world title,and an Olympic silver medalist. he’s experienced distrust in the U.S. and faced additional scrutiny in airports.
Born and raised in Boston, England, but he’s a Muslim of Pakistani origin . Life in the U.S. has changed dramatically for Muslims after 9/11, and even a decade later they are effected.
When Amir flew to Los Angeles from London last month to begin preparations for July 23 unification fight with Zab Judah at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, he was detained at customs for an additional two hours before he was able to proceed.
He said it’s been routine that way on his last four or five trips to the U.S.
He said he understands the need for additional security for the global terrorism, but said Americans have no reason to be fearful of most Pakistanis and Muslims.
Khan, whose mission is to become the top boxer in the world, said he wants to serve as an example for Muslims and to help eliminate the misunderstandings that exist between Americans and Muslims.
