Manuel Ortega Hegg – Nicaraguan Sociologist

“In a system where there is an increase in intolerance towards the rights of others, combined with enormous support for the political system – which permits or foments these types of attitudes – you have a group of respondents who create the conditions for an authoritative government to find support.”

Pakistan’s poor and hungry masses strive all day to earn enough to buy a loaf or bread or roti to feed the family. Pakistan’s poor have to daily suffer abuse and indignities and torture at the hand of poorly paid but professionally brutal police. Sometime ago, in Karachi, police brutality reached a peak, when a police head constable, poured boiling oil on Ayaz, a poor potato chips peddler in Karachi. The poor man suffered burns on 100 percent of his body. The policeman got away with it, as the IG Police of Sindh & Superintendents of Karachi Police tried to shove the case under the rug. (Karachi police is a slave of PPP and its Jiyalas, they serve as pimps escorting Bilawal Zardari, a moneyed male prostitute and a liability on Sindh. Bilawal never worked one day in his life for a living; truly a parasite feeding on the wealth of Sindhis of Tharparkar and interior Sindh). The head constable is walking around scott-free, while the poor potato chip peddler is fighting for his life.

How can countries like UK, NATO, & US provide aid to City Governments like Karachi, whose police force is one of the most brutal in the world. Pakistan’s state institutions like police have deteriorated into torture factories, where Abu Gharaib seems like picnic, brutal, Gestapo-like goon squads made up of thugs, have been recruited by the crookedest man in Pakistan, Asif Zardari into Sindh police. Inept control freak corrupt buffoons Asif Zardari, Bilawal Zardari, and Owais Tappi, and mafia of Sindhi waderas or feudal lords, rules the Sindh Province.  The Federal Government, run by Nawaz Sharif is worse. It is inept and incompetent, wasting precious resources in grandiose self-serving projects like Metro, Super Highways, and Civil Projects. There is no accountability or fiscal oversight over the intrinsic corruption built into the governmental spending. The country is run like a fiefdom of Lord Nawaz Sharif and his Royal family.

What Shaikh Saadi Shirazi said about Nawaz Sharif and his Kashmiri Biradari, including Khawaja Asif rings true to this day.

“AWWAL AFGHAN,

DO-EM KAMBO,

SOEM BADZAAT KASHMIRI”

Khawaja Asif today appeared in Hamid Mir’s. Through mutual banter Hamid Mir, a Kashmiri, provided a fig leaf to Khawaja Asif to backtrack and soften his tone.

Hamid Mir insulted the intellectual capabilities of 180 Million Pakistanis by talking down to them in a typical patronizing manner.

Does this ghadaar Hamid Mir, a “Kashmiri Hathoo,” think Pakistanis are stupid?

Does he think Pakistanis are not on to his game?

Pakistani Army has fought for Azadi of Kashmir for 65 years and lost thousands of its soldiers in Kashmir.

But, Badzaat Kashmiri Nawaz Sharif and Khawaja Asif are rewarding Pakistani Army by demonizing it.

Nawaz Sharif’s main sycophant or chamcha Khawaja Asif is the man in-charge of demonization of Pakistan Army.

As a Kashmiri, he has lived up to his Badzaat Reputation.

Nawaz Sharif made him as Defence Minister to use him as his Junkyard Dog against Pakistan Army.

After appointing a Hijra Raheel Sharif (only a half-hearted whimper of protest came from this “sifarishi tuttwo” COAS).

Nawaz Sharif knows that he can say whatever he wants to weaken Pakistan Army, because his mule the COAS will go wherever Nawaz shoves his danda in him.

This will be Nawaz Sharif’s service to his US masters, who want to destroy Pakistan Army (little knowing that it will backfire,

As all the fanatic demons will let loose in whole of South Asia.). Who can talk sense to US, which goes from one ill-fated foreign policy decision to another?

Manipulated the election to bring him in power. The lead manipulator representing was the CIA asset Najam Sethi. Nawaz rewarded him with keeping the plump, graft ridden PCB chairmanship.

Birds of a feather flock together. Kashmiri Nawaz Sharif is using a Kashmiri Khawaja Asif to do his dirty work to weaken the role of Pakistan Army. And create a divide between the Army and people of Pakistan. This is in support of Nawaz Sharif’s dream of becoming the first President of United India or Akhand Bharat. A role promised to him by Clinton and ManMohan Singh.

From now on, no matter how many shaheeds Pakistan Army has, Nawaz Will demean Pakistan Army till he destroys its battlefield morale.

Nawaz Sharif, if not stopped now, will eventually destroy Pakistan.

Pakistan Army is fighting terrorism on four fronts:

  1. International Border infiltration from India

  1. Cross Afghan-Pakistan terrorism supported by Indian intelligence RAW. It trains terrorists and sends them to kill innocents. One glaring example is the massacre of 132 Army Public School children ages 6-15, massacred last December in Peshawar. Ajit Doval, Security Advisor of Indian Prime Minister, planned and boasted about his operational successes in Pakistan.

  1. Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is a Fifth Columnist in cahoots with the Indian Army Intelligence. The main reason is Nawaz Sharif’s antipathy towards Pakistan army, who’s COAS, has prove timid and ineffective in controlling the stealth infiltration of Indians in all Pakistani institutions. A glaring example is several Hindutva Hindus; agents of RAW are working in Sharif owned Ramzan Sugar Mills in Chiniot. Ostensibly, brought to introduce bagasse technology. All of these engineers are part of RAW trained contingent.
  2. Pakistan’s Finance minister makes sure that strategic defence project and needs of armed forces are not met. This is the game plan of Nawaz Sharif to weaken Pakistan Armed Forces, so they do not give resistance when enemy walks in.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has a penchant for exotic sex. He traipses around the globe, from Bangkok, Thailand, London & Dubai looking for high-end brothels to satisfy his gargantuan sex addiction.  So, a poor potato chip peddler lives or die is not in his priorities, which focus only on his growing business empire in India and elsewhere.

Nawaz Sharif excels only in his sex drive, as also symbolized by his parties political symbol a Tiger. Pakistan’s poor in Nawaz Sharif’s opinion should go and eat Ras Malaee! Sher Aya, Sher Aya is the mantra of the poor and indigent, who are promised castles of gold and silver by 2016. And the beat goes on…

Who are ‘Samozas’ of Pakistan? By Dr Shahid Qureshi

Who are ‘Samozas’ of Pakistan?

Samozas of Pakistan have proved that they will never change no matter what ever is at stake whole country or its assets. The recent so called democratic elections in Karachi and winning of terrorist group MQM-A is a clear sign that politicians have decided to destroy every institution of Pakistan whatever is left. Only a week ago two military police soldiers were killed in cold blood by the terrorists in Karachi but dummy and geriatric Chief Minister Sindh has not signed on the papers giving powers to Rangers for operations against terrorists. His master Asif Zardari is sitting in Dubai in self-exile after making threats to Army Chief. He is saved by Nawaz Sharif in $60 million Swiss Case for not representing the case in court and providing essential evidence. The state is almost collapsed where Chief Justice of Supreme Court has asked many times to improve governance. The armed forces have issued a press release for the improvement of governance in the context of Karachi operation where terrorist are being released by the police and courts for lack of evidence.

Asif Zardari during his term destroyed Railways with the help and support of pro India ANP.  He destroyed civil administration and police which Sharif brothers aka ‘Banu Sharif’ continued in Punjab province since 2008. They did not hang a single convicted criminal and murderer out of 8000 plus waiting to be executed until 2015 after the tragic incident of Army Public School in December 2014.

The worst tragedy is that both Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif lied to the people of Pakistan that if they hang any one EU will stop trading with Pakistan. When I contacted the European Union on this matter they denied point blank any such instructions.  The result of that lie to the people and state of Pakistan was that it had to suffer more terrorist attacks on military, security institutions as well as civilians. In Pakistan only one TV channel SAMA run the story for few minutes and then there was silence?

DYNASTIC POLITICS IN PAKISTAN

dynasty-politics

Dynasty, it is the sequence of rulers considered from the same family. If we look upon the tradition of sub-continent then there is a long list in which rulers had arrived from the samefamily. Quoting the example of MUGHAL EMPIRE where Ruler ship chip changes among familymembers for a long time. While we can say that it is a common thing or basic thing which is followed in a Monarchy. Taking the same thing from ancient civilization, it is still followed in South Asia..You can say that is has become customary of Politics. If we took examples specifically from India and Pakistan, then we have seen that we have many examples of the dynastyAppearance. From Indira Gandhi to Sonia Gandhi to Rahul Gandhi rulers were changed, but from the same family. We can follow the same example in Pakistan, from Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto to Benazir Bhutto and now Bilawal Bhutto the rulers are popping up from the same family.

Pakistan claims to be a democratic state, but the culture of family politics that is followed here is totally uncompliant to the basics of democracy. The transformation of ruler from Zulfiqar Bhutto to Benazir Bhutto to Bilawal Bhutto, it is seen that only faces are changed, they have same old slogans of “Roti Kapra or Makaaan” but the condition of the Nation and State is still not changed, they are exactly same as decades ago. Coming up to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, I can only say that it was the only tactic played by PPP or Asif Ali Zardari after the martyrdom of Benazir Bhutto to stooge nation. We can’t deny the fact that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Muhtarma Benazir Bhutto were two great leaders, but it is not necessary that their children can also be good leaders or politicians.

Using the trend of Family politics, Bilawal was made Chairman of PPP. Can you ever imagine how just 18 year old boy canbecome Chairperson of such big political organization. Again, this was done to gain just POLITCIAL benefit. There are many leaders in the party who know politics more than 18 year old boy. This was only done to get the sympathies by using the name “Bhutto”.

PPP is working smarter, using such approach so they will have Sindh card always with them to enter a parliament otherwise their slogans are too old and can’t benefit them more.

In the recent years we had observed that the trend of Pakistani politics is changing a little bit. New slogans of change will be really challenging for the PPP. In addition to that Sindhi Nationalist are also a threat for them. But the real power of the PPP is ignorant society, which will always help them to get into power. So it is obvious that illiterate public of Sindh who are emotionally seduced will always stand behind PPP. Their sentiments with the name of Bhutto will always be used.

So, Bilawal Bhutto have a future in politics, not because he will be a great leader or politician, just because “Bhutto” which is tied to his name. Which is very enough to affect the followers of Bhuttoism.

Farhan Investigative Report: Nawaz Sharif, The Prime Minister From Hell

Farhan Investigative Report

images-6

The following is an excellent expose of

some of the corruption conducted by Nawaz Sharif

. This report has been compiled by the host of DM Digital, Farhan Aslam, who also used to work for ARY Digital a few years ago.

The report has been divided into six segments. I will offer a short summary of the discussion, followed by the clips themselves.

Brief summary

Nawaz Sharif’s only agenda was to make money. In order to achieve this goal, he formed/changed laws and policies for his personal benefit and expanded his business empire by misusing his authority as Prime Minister. Interestingly enough and ironically, the PPP played a major role in exposing the corruption of Nawaz Sharif and his family. The Jamaat-e-Islami had also leveled a number of corruption allegations upon Nawaz Sharif. As we know, later Sharif and his cronies also played a role in exposing the corruption of Benazir Bhutto and her PPP. In other words, both Sharif and Bhutto have been busy over the years actively accusing each other of committing corruption.

Nawaz Sharif is widely acknowledged to be a highly incompetent person, with a low mediocre IQ. level. The brain behind him was that of his late “Abba Jee” (‘daddy’) – the mastermind and the main decision maker behind the scene.

In order to consolidate and attain more power, Nawaz Sharif attacked every individual and institutions he felt could get in the way challenge his authority. In order to get rid of the then Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, who was despised by Sharif, the later created divisions among the judges to make life difficult for the Chief Justice. A group of judges refused to acknowledge Shah as the Chief Justice and things got so bad that a number of junior judges put hurdles in the way of the Chief Justice in order to make it difficult for him to carry out his duties. Eventually, Sharif ordered his thugs to attack the Supreme Court in order to prevent the Chief Justice from giving a ruling against him.

The police did nothing to stop Sharif’s thugs as they attacked and entered the Supreme Court. The judges inside the building barely managed to escape. The thugs, led by Sajjad Naseem and Mushtaq Tahir, Nawaz Sharif’s political secretaries, entered the court chanting anti-Sajjad slogans and destroyed the furniture.

Next, consider Nawaz Sharif’s relationship with the press and media. Two examples will suffice. On 8th May 1999, Najam Sethi, a prominent journalist of Pakistan, was arrested by the police on the orders of Sharif. Sethi has committed the crime of annoying Nawaz Sharif by writing a critical essay against him. The police broke into Sethi’s house at around 2 am and beat him up in his bedroom in front of his wife, after which he was transported off to a secret location. The police trashed Sethi’s house, broke the furniture and beat him up quite bad. Sethi was only released after a lot of international pressure had built up against Sharif. Sharif also demanded the Jang Group to get rid of all the journalists who were critical of him. To achieve this goal, Sharif and his cronies used a variety of legal and illegal means to pressure the Jang Group into compliance.

There is probably no institution in Pakistan which Nawaz Sharif did not aggressively confront in order make them comply to his wishes. Besides picking on a fight with the President, the Judiciary and the already restricted/limited media, Sharif also decided to have a confrontation with the army, the only viable institution left in Pakistan. Chief of Army Staff, General Jehangir Karamat, and Nawaz Sharif had a conflict over an issue pertaining to the national security council and both entered into a heated discussion, after which Gen. Karamat had to offer his resignation. Jehangir Karamat thus became the first Chief of Army Staff in the history of Pakistan to have left the army in this prematurely in this manner.

One by one all challenges and potential obstacles were removed from the way by Nawaz Sharif. Ghulam Ishaq Khan, Farooq Leghari, Sajjad Ali Shah, and Jehangir Karamat, as well as others, were all removed from the scene by Sharif.

After the removal of Jehangir Karamat, Sharif appointed Pervaiz Musharraf as the Chief of Army Staff. Some analysts at the time said that Sharif made this decision thinking that Pervaiz Musharraf was an Urdu speaker and did not belong to a Punjabi army family, thus very unlikely to be a threat to Sharif!

Things became sour between Sharif and Musharraf during the Kargil episode. Later, once a relative of Sharif was removed from the army by Musharraf, that was the final nail in the coffin. Sharif then decided to take his revenge and replace Gen. Musharraf with a fellow of his liking who would be controllable (the head of the ISI. at the time).

Farhan Aslam also comments upon the ill-advised economic decisions of Sharif which made Pakistan’s situation from bad to worse. Moreover, he comments upon the Sharif family’s personal business empire and how it grew exponentially through questionable means.

PML(N): The Rupture Within?

Being a student of Political Science  during 1963-65 and a regular contributor to the ‘Letters to the Editor’ column in ‘The Pakistan Times,’ I have had the opportunity of reading about political parties functioning at that time, starting with the Pakistan Muslim League (Convention). From there onwards, the study never stopped, though it slowed down at times due to other pressing engagements.

Historically speaking, the Pakistan Muslim League has remained a party of the lords. With the induction of Mian Nawaz Sharif into politics, the party’s complexion changed from that of the feudal lords to that of the industrial lords as the supremos.

6944677-big-thief-stealing-a-lot-of-moneyFrankly speaking, there is no difference in the mindset of a feudal lord and an industrial lord. Both are lords–the masters–and the rest are their subjects. The difference lies in the environment in which both lords operate. The feudal lord rules over illiterates in a rural set up and the industrial lord rules over literates in an urban centre.

So, expecting democracy from the feudal lords or the industrial lords is like expecting a baby from a transgender. It is as simple as that. A democrat is not born of a palace, it is born of a hut. That too, if the hut doesn’t have a domineering father or mother. Where is the democracy in our society? In our homes? In our schools? In our colleges? In our business and industrial enterprises? How on earth can we expect a democrat growing up in a dictatorial environment!

Talking of the parliamentary form of government, the least said the better. The parliament in the third world countries, especially in nascent democracies, is the nursery where rich becomes richer, by hook or by crook. Pakistan is no exception.

Coming back to Pakistan Muslim League in whatever shape and shade it existed from time to time, it is the party of lords whether it is Chaudhries or Sharifs at the helm of affairs.

Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-e-Azam) owned by the Chaudhries of Gujrat is the breakaway faction of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz Sharif). Both the factions were earlier part of Pakistan Muslim League (Junejo). Each faction of the party has generally remained associated with its founder or sponsor and virtually owned and run by him.

PML(Q) suffered heavily in the 2013 elections because it refused to change. It refrained from changing the party leadership and letting it go outside the Shujaat-Pervez family alliance.

PML(N) benefitted by the losses of PML(Q) and took away the lost PML(N) from the clutches of the Chaudhries.

Now is the testing time for PML(N). Will it be a party of Mian Nawaz Sharif or a party of Muslim leaguers? Will it learn from the experience of the Chaudhries and let the leadership go outside the Sharifs? Or will it let the party be ruptured from within.

Honestly speaking, the PML(N) is already bleeding. Mian Nawaz Sharif has been unable to complete the federal cabinet and Mian Shahbaz Sharif has been unable to complete the Punjab cabinet, two stunning examples of the inner self of the party.

There has been no party conventions and no party elections in PML(N). All the posts are filled by nomination. All the party decisions are only talked about in the inner circle of the ‘most favoured men’ but Mian Nawaz Sharif can veto any decision without question. And those expressing their views in the inner circle have to be extra-cautious in the use of their limited vocabulary.

The inner circle reigns irrespective of their designations in the party. The chairman and the secretary general are practically non-entities. It is hazardous for anyone to climb the ladder and land in the inner circle.

The inner circle is well-guarded by its occupants. You find the same faces in the inner circle day in and day out. As usual, the weight of each occupant changes with the change of mood of the party head. There is many a slip between the cup and the lip. Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan is one recent most example. It is now the Khawaja’s and Dar’s golden days. The right and the left hands are already occupied. So, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan will have to wait till one hand falls vacant. Quitting the party, though he threatened many a time, won’t be a good choice for him.

Wait for the next episode on the historic role of the Little Master in PML(N), In sha Allah, next week.
