ARCHIVE ARTICLE:IS ANYBODY AWAKE?: PERVEZ HOODBHOY HAS BEEN DIVULGING ABOUT NATIONAL NUCLEAR PREPAREDNESS STATUS SINCE 2002

Pak nuclear warheads already in place

LONDON: Working secretly round the clock, Pakistani scientists have built up a sizeable nuclear arsenal and its nuclear warheads were already in place on missiles, a leading scientist has said.

Pervez Hoodbhoy, Professor of Nuclear Physics at Quaid-e- Azam University in Islamabad told the Times that “scientists have been working in three shifts over the past three years since the Kargil conflict.”

Unknown-2Hoodbhoy said there were clear indications that the nuclear warheads were already in place on missiles.

“We are much closer to a nuclear confrontation with India than at any other time,” he was quoted by the leading London daily as saying on Monday.

He said the country could have more warheads than previously thought.

The disclosure raised the possibility that Pakistan could assemble more nuclear warheads than the estimated 30 to 50. Each warhead is understood to have the same explosive power as the US atomic weapon dropped over Hiroshima in 1945.

According to the report, India has already taken its warheads out of storage to be fitted to delivery systems.

British Foreign Secretary, Jack Straw, leaves for the region on Monday to try to ease tensions and to open dialogue. During his talks in Islamabad and New Delhi, he will propose establishing greater contact between the two countries to avoid either side accidentally triggering a nuclear holocaust.

NAWAZ”Kugoo” SHARIF BIOGRAPHY: THE THUG OF 21st CENTURY

Who is Nawaz “Kugoo” Sharif? A Biography

images-4
Nawaz Sharif is widely acknowledged to be a highly incompetent person, with a low mediocre IQ. level. The brain behind him was that of his late “Abba Jee” (‘daddy’) – the mastermind and the main decision maker behind the scene.

The following is an excellent programme exposing some of the corruption conducted by Nawaz Sharif by the host of DM Digital, Farhan Aslam, who also used to work for ARY Digital a few years ago. The report has been divided into six segments

After that Nawaz Sharif had completed his education, in the 3rd division in B.A from Govt College, Lahore as he got admission in Govt College Lahore, on recommendations, and he used to be called in the class as “Kuggoo’ because he never used to participate in the class nor replied to any question he has ever been asked by the lecturer, told by his class mates.

Unknown-49His father Mian Muhammad Sharif started him in the business. However, this proved a disaster. As a second option Mian Muhammad Sharif set him up with Pakistani actor Saeed Khan Rangeela to get him into acting (something which Nawaz Sharif wanted). A few days later Saeed Khan Rangeela sent his regrets to Mian Muhammad Sharif saying that his son was too dumb for acting and movie industry. Mian Muhammad Sharif then hired cricket coaches to train his son for cricket, but his physical fitness was too low for the sport. It is rumored that by mid-day on his first day at training Nawaz Sharif threw the bat down and left the stadium saying, “This is too tough for me.”

As a last resort he paid General Ghulam Jilani Khan a considerable sum of money to introduce Nawaz Sharif to General Zia-ul-Haq recommending him for a political post, who in turn made Nawaz Sharif the Finance Minister of Punjab.
( Gen. Gilani was not offered money, in fact he had been presented a ‘White Palace’ made on a 4-kanal corner plot in Lahore Cant and it was worth Rs. 4 crores then, a s said. It was just beautiful with Victorian style round porch with a running fountain in the center. But Mian Sharif, being business man, recovered many ‘4 crores’ out of the son’s post of Finance Minister of Punjab, and it was sure that Nawaz Sharif would not be able to write his designation with correct spellings )

However, this was the day when the street thugs of Mohni Road had stepped on to becoming the national thugs of Pakistan.

However, this was the day when the street thugs of Mohni Road had stepped on to becoming the national thugs of Pakistan.

The day Nawaz Sharif had become Finance Minister, the entire family’s earnings were few million rupees and had only one re-rolling mill. From there they went on to: Ittefaq Sugar Mills was set up in 1982, Brothers steel in 1983, Brother’s Textile Mills in 1986, Brothers Sugar Mills Ltd in 1986, Ittefaq Textile units in 2-3 in 1987, Khalid Siraj Textile Mills in 1988, Ramzan Buksh Textiles in 1987, Farooq Barkat (pvt) Ltd in 1985. (All on loans from the government as Ziaul Haq used to sign on his loans requests and also on loan writing off requests. That is why when PPP Govt.took-over and the written off loans were calculated by the first Public Accounts Committee, there were two at the top i.e. Choudhy brothers, 22 billions, repeat billions and Mian Sharif 21 billion, all written off by Ziaul Haq. It is still on record in PAC Report of 1989.) By the time of Zia ul Haq’s fateful plane crash, Mian Muhammad Sharif’s family was earning a net profit of US$ 3 million, up from a few million rupees. By the end of the decade their net assets were worth more than 6 billion rupees, according to their own admission, nearly US$ 350 million at the time. But this turned out to be small-change when Nawaz Sharif became the Prime Minister.
When Nawaz Sharif became prime minister, the group took a decision to secure project loans from the foreign banks and only working capital was taken from the nationalized commercial banks. The project financing from foreign banks was ostensibly secured against the foreign currency deposits, a number of which were held in benamee accounts, as repeatedly claimed by Interior Minister Naseer Ullah Babar at his press conferences. In 1992 Salman Taseer released an account of Nawaz Sharif’s corruption stating that the family had taken loans of up to 12 billion rupees, which were never paid back. On March 2, 1994, Khalid Siraj, a cousin of Nawaz Sharif claimed that the assets of the seven brothers were valued at Rs 21 billion.
During the Afghan-Soviet War Nawaz Sharif’s cousin and brother-in-law, Sohail Zia Butt started working under the drug baron Mirza Iqbal Beg, then Pakistan’s second biggest drug lord after Ayub Afridi. Mian Muhammad Sharif and his sons had a permanent share in his gambling and heroin business. In 1990 Suhail Butt won a seat on the Islami Jamhoori Ittehad ticket in the Punjab Assembly. It was through Sohail Butt’s association that Nawaz Sharif became a close associate of Mirza Iqbal Beg. It was through him that Nawaz Sharif became benami owner of many of the privatized government entities, such as Muslim Commercial Bank. Sohail Zia Butt other than getting involved in the drug business made billions in the co-operative societies’ collapse, mainly through the National Industrial Credit and Finance Corporation. It was Nawaz Sharif’s share in his cousin’s drug business which he used to buy off the generals thereby delaying the inevitable dismissal of his government.
In 1995 when Mirza Iqbal Beg was imprisoned, Sohail Zia Butt took over his drug empire. It was at this time that he became one of the biggest drug and crime bosses in Pakistan and was nicknamed the “King of Heera Mandi” and at one time all six underworld gangs of Lahore were working under him.

By 1995 family’s declared annual profits from industrial units had increased 1500% from US$ 30 million to staggering US$ 400 million.

This is the short version of how in mere 15 years small street thugs running gambling dens became leaders of a country running narcotics, underworld and smuggling empires, untouched by everyone.

part 2

Nawaz Sharif’s only agenda was to make money. In order to achieve this goal, he formed/changed laws and policies for his personal benefit and expanded his business empire by misusing his authority as Prime Minister. Interestingly enough and ironically, the PPP played a major role in exposing the corruption of Nawaz Sharif and his family. The Jamaat-e-Islami had also leveled a number of corruption allegations upon Nawaz Sharif. As we know, later Sharif and his cronies also played a role in exposing the corruption of Benazir Bhutto and her PPP. In other words, both Sharif and Bhutto have been busy over the years actively accusing each other of committing corruption.

Nawaz Sharif is widely acknowledged to be a highly incompetent person, with a low mediocre IQ. level. The brain behind him was that of his late “Abba Jee” (‘daddy’) – the mastermind and the main decision maker behind the scene.

In order to consolidate and attain more power, N. Sharif attacked every individual and institutions he felt could get in the way challenge his authority. In order to get rid of the then Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, who was despised by Sharif, the later created divisions among the judges to make life difficult for the Chief Justice. A group of judges refused to acknowledge Shah as the Chief Justice and things got so bad that a number of junior judges put hurdles in the way of the Chief Justice in order to make it difficult for him to carry out his duties. Eventually, Sharif ordered his thugs to attack the Supreme Court in order to prevent the Chief Justice from giving a ruling against him.

The police did nothing to stop Sharif’s thugs as they attacked and entered the Supreme Court. The judges inside the building barely managed to escape. The thugs, led by Sajjad Naseem and Mushtaq Tahir, Nawaz Sharif’s political secretaries, entered the court chanting anti-Sajjad slogans and destroyed the furniture.

Next, consider Nawaz Sharif’s relationship with the press and media. Two examples will suffice. On 8th May 1999, Najam Sethi, a prominent journalist of Pakistan, was arrested by the police on the orders of Sharif. Sethi has committed the crime of annoying Nawaz Sharif by writing a critical essay against him. The police broke into Sethi’s house at around 2 am and beat him up in his bedroom in front of his wife, after which he was transported off to a secret location. The police trashed Sethi’s house, broke the furniture and beat him up quite bad. Sethi was only released after a lot of international pressure had built up against Sharif. Sharif also demanded the Jang Group to get rid of all the journalists who were critical of him. To achieve this goal, Sharif and his cronies used a variety of legal and illegal means to pressure the Jang Group into compliance.

There is probably no institution in Pakistan which Nawaz Sharif did not aggressively confront in order make them comply to his wishes. Besides picking on a fight with the President, the Judiciary and the already restricted/limited media, Sharif also decided to have a confrontation with the army, the only viable institution left in Pakistan. Chief of Army Staff, General Jehangir Karamat, and Nawaz Sharif had a conflict over an issue pertaining to the national security council and both entered into a heated discussion, after which Gen. Karamat had to offer his resignation. Jehangir Karamat thus became the first Chief of Army Staff in the history of Pakistan to have left the army in this prematurely in this manner.

One by one all challenges and potential obstacles were removed from the way by Nawaz Sharif. Ghulam Ishaq Khan, Farooq Leghari, Sajjad Ali Shah, and Jehangir Karamat, as well as others, were all removed from the scene by Sharif.

After the removal of Jehangir Karamat, Sharif appointed Pervaiz Musharraf as the Chief of Army Staff. Some analysts at the time said that Sharif made this decision thinking that Pervaiz Musharraf was an Urdu speaker and did not belong to a Punjabi army family, thus very unlikely to be a threat to Sharif!

Things became sour between Sharif and Musharraf during the Kargil episode. Later, once a relative of Sharif was removed from the army by Musharraf, that was the final nail in the coffin. Sharif then decided to take his revenge and replace Gen. Musharraf with a fellow of his liking who would be controllable (the head of the ISI. at the time).

Those who think Nawaz Sharif is their leader should think twice. People of Pakistan can not be fooled by these thugs leaders in 21st century

MALIK RIAZ

Malik Riaz of Bahria Town…. …and his crooks!

Malik Riaz was the conduit for bringing the PML Q wing led by Chaudhry

Shujaat/Chaudhry Pervez Illahi into Asif Zardari’s fold.

Pres. Zardari was so pleased/Jubilant with NICL scandal!

He said that NICL delivered three people/groups to him who covered to his

 feet.

1. Yusuf Raza Gilani, as his son/sons were involved

2 Benazir’s nominee for PM…. Makhdoom Amin Fahim

3. Chaudhry Shujaat Husain and Chaudhry Pervez Illahi

How the corruption of some, benefits the other corrupt elements. The threat by MQM was thwarted by NICL as Chaudhries came into the fold, by out smarting the murderous MQM.

Who is Taji Khokhar?

Brother of Nawaz Khokhar formerly, Deputy speaker of National Assembly.

He works on behalf of Malik Riaz for acquisition/ land grabbing in

Islamabad/ Rawalpindi area on behalf of Malik Riaz, the Don….

Taji ( Imtiaz Khokhar) lives on the main road connecting Rawalpindi to Islamabad and has his own Zoo, where inter alia he has kept two live lions. The whole menagerie daily expenditure runs over several lakh rupees. He is responsible for killing of at least 100 people in pursuit of land grabbing.

At one point after killing more than four persons at a land site, he came home and shot his long time guard and registered FIR against those killed by him and using as a cause for retaliatory firing. Of course he compensated the family adequately.

Who is Faisal Butt?

He owned/ owns a guesthouse in Islamabad where Asif Zardari used to visit in the evenings while in so-called detention. He supplies Russian girls and provide Asif Zardari’s favorite alcoholics drinks. Asif Zardari asked Faisal Butt of his Choice. He asked for CDA. Asif Zardari, who is known for never forgetting anyone who even offered him a glass of water, when in difficulty (unlike Nawaz & Shahbaz Sharif). Asif Zardari asked his choice for Chairman CDA. Butt suggested Kamran Lashari…. Asif Zardari agreed and

appointed him. He told Lashari to follow orders from Mr Faisal Butt. This continues after Kamran Lashari, former Secretary Defence’s brother amassed Millions of Dollars with full patronage of his powerful brother.

Also it is learnt that real brother of COAS, Ali Kayani has amassed billions through Mr Malik Riaz?

Malik Riaz also has Shahbaz Sharif in his pocket and has been successful in causing a breach in PML N. Chaudhry Nisar was the victim. All PML N MNA’s and MPAs from PML N from the area around Pindi/ Islamabad are in the pocket of Malik Riaz.

TAJI KHOKHAR IS STILL FREE,WHILE KAMRAN FAISAL’S KILLERS ARE FORGOTTEN

US Reporter Says Nawaz Sharif Propositioned Her

Kim Barker, an American reporter who covered Afghanistan and Pakistan for Chicago Tribune starting in 2003, claims that she was propositioned by Pakistan Muslim League leader Nawaz Sharif when she met him for interviews for her newspaper.

In an interview with KERA radio, Barker said she followed her bosses advice to try and blend with the local population. However, being a young white female journalist with blue eyes who stands at 5 ft 10 in tall, she says she received unusual attention from the men she met to do her job in Afghanistan and Pakistan. In her recently released book “The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan”, Barker recounts how Nawaz Sharif gave her an Apple iphone as a gift and asked her to be his “special friend”. When she declined Nawaz Sharif’s sexual advance, Foreign Policy Magazine reports that he offered to set her up with President Asif Ali Zardari.

This latest report adds Sharif’s name to the “illustrious” list of senior Pakistani political leaders who have made news for their dalliances with women.

A 2007 Youtube video showing Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani groping Sherry Rehman attracted a lot of attention. Then, President Asif Ali Zardari was shown gushing about US Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, and asking to “hug” her during a meeting in New York.

Here’s a video clip of Barker’s interview:

Robert Craddock chronicles seedy side beneath glitz and glamour of Indian Premier League

by: Robert Craddock

May 18, 2013

Unknown-1

Beneath the glitz, glamour and hype so plastic you could wrap your sandwiches in it, the Indian Premier League is a smouldering cesspit. The sunniest of places for the shadiest people. They come out after dark at the notorious IPL parties where all involved can pluck a girl, a drink or maybe something a little stronger if that is your wish. The lights are dim, the music loud, the drinks strong, cold and plentiful. Famous faces flash past in the shadows. It was here that the first tentacles of illegal bookmakers reportedly offered their poisoned fruit to young fast bowler Sreesanth who, with two of his Rajasthan Royals teammates, faces a life of ruin after being caught spot-fixing.

What mindless fools they have been. Sreesanth’s annual IPL salary of $681,000 could have bought him three or four large houses in his home region of Kerala but he wanted more. In these days of rampant indulgence, enough is never enough. Australian coaches never enjoy it when their players go to the IPL because they often return fat. Weeks of sloppy training sessions, reckless eating habits and lying around five star hotel rooms secluded from the madhouse world is no way to get a player in peak condition. Very few Australian cricketers have gone to the Indian Premier League have come back better cricketers.

Old heads like Adam Gilchrist – who has earnt more than $7 million in the IPL and is still playing – can get in an out without being swayed but there is mounting concern that one young Australian player in India is behaving with increased recklessness as his moral radar scrambles with a large pay cheque which far outstrips his ability. If you or I stay at a hotel and our rooms are paid for we generally still have to pick up incidentals like room service when we check out. In some IPL franchises stars just refuse to pay these bills. When the bus arrives they jump on and never look back. The bills eventually find their way to the franchise accountant who mops up the mess.

It is all part of rock star culture of the IPL, the same culture that saw batsman Luke Pomersbach manoeuvred out of jail and home scott free after a settlement despite belting a man so hard he broke his hand. The apprehension of three players for spot-fixing may have shocked the rest of the world but those least surprised were those who have played in the competition. The whispers have been around for years that there has been dodgy dealings galore in the IPL with stories about betting exotics as extreme as how many players would wear sun glasses.

Things were even worse in the IPL’s predecessor, the Indian Cricket League, so corrupt that Australian players who played it jokingly refer to it as the Indian Corruption League. There are many cricket competitions in India that Australians have never ever heard of which are the subject of betting and of course, corruption. IPL officials have been infamously slow to take proper anti-corruption measures and their reticence has always been seen as a sign that they were scared of what they would find. In the competition’s first year in 2008 the IPL gave the ICC’s anti-corruption unit just one week to get organised for the competition.

In 2009 when the tournament was in South Africa they didn’t even bother having a corruption unit and there were reportedly more corrupt dealings than one of those Kenya  investment schemes you get invited to join over the phone at home, normally just when you are putting the kids down. Since then the ICC’s anti-corruption unit has been involved but last year the IPL decided to appoint their own corruption unit to govern things. The IPL saw it as a boost for their integrity. Many others saw it a bit like putting the fattest father at your local school fete in charge of the donut stall.

Cricket corruption is hard to detect in India because all deals are done in cash. There is no transaction trail and no footage of a man coming out of a TAB. Players take risks with the confidence of knowing the ICC’s corruption unit have had about as much success finding criminals as Mr Magoo would have spotting a flea in a featherbed. They have barely a decent scalp to show in their 12 years existence and when the Indian police were closing in on the three Royals players cricket’s anti-corruption task force was fumbling along in the dark … again.

The IPL spot-fixing investigation could finally uncover the murky underbelly of the T20 tournament

by: By Malcolm Conn

The Daily Telegraph

May 17, 2013

All five Australians who play for Rajasthan Royals will be questioned as part of a major police investigation after three of their Indian IPL teammates were arrested on spot-fixing charges on Thursday. More arrests are expected in an operation which could finally expose the murky underbelly of the billion-dollar IPL and flow into another overseas Twenty20 competition. No suspicion surrounds the Australians at the Royals, Shane Watson, James Faulkner, Brad Hodge, Brad Hogg and Shaun Tait. However, those under investigation from other IPL teams include foreign players, with 10 matches under scrutiny from a special Delhi police unit.

Delhi Police Commissioner Neeraj Kumar, speaking at a media conference, denied any Australians were involved. “No, your countrymen can rest in peace,” he said. The arrest of contracted Indian Test fast bowler Sreesanth and local domestic players Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila became a Twitter circus last night, prompting Indian media to falsely report that Tait was involved. “I’m bewildered, I’m angry and I’m upset at the false suggestions I’ve been involved in any wrongdoing,” Tait said in a statement, in which has also threatened possible legal action.

“While I welcome the recent statements from police clearing me of any involvement, for a few hours today I was deeply distressed by the rumours that were rapidly circulating about me, most of which were aired in the social media. “Not only were they without foundation, they highlight the danger of a medium that deals with innuendo rather than fact, the result of which has brought my name into question. “At no stage in my career have I engaged in spot or match fixing and I’m in discussions with my manager and legal representatives to examine how this episode unfolded and any further action I may take.”

The arrested Indian players have been suspended by the Board of Control for Cricket in India pending the outcome of the police investigation that has targeted illegal bookmakers. Ten bookmakers have been arrested and are providing information to the police after phone taps recorded 50 suspicious conversations. The police action came following last Wednesday’s match between the Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. Speaking to The Daily Telegraph from Hyderabad, Faulkner said: “I don’t know anything about it. I’ve been told by the franchise not to say anything.”

Managers for Watson and Hogg, who are currently in India with their players, also claimed they had no knowledge of what had taken place. A case has been registered against the Indian players in Mumbai that alleges cheating and criminal conspiracy. The Royals released a statement saying that they had been “taken by surprise”. “We have been informed that three of our players have been called in for investigation on spot fixing in matches,” the Royals said. “We are completely taken by surprise. We do not have the full facts at this point and are unable to confirm anything. We are in touch with the BCCI (Indian board) on this matter. We will fully cooperate with the authorities to ensure a thorough investigation.”

There has been widespread suspicion surrounding the Indian Premier League since its inception in 2008. It was particularly the case in the highly lucrative competition’s early days when the BCCI refused to employ the International Cricket Council’s anti-corruption unit because of its $1 million cost.

An Open Letter to the PM Pakistan

An Open Letter to the PM Pakistan

Pakistan sets sights on drones

H’onble Mian Nawaz Sharif Sahab,

Salaam.

Regarding drone issue, I don’t think this fact may have been brought to your kind notice that drones are just machines; and if we shoot them, no US loss of life will entail.

Now, there is a question that why Pakistan must shoot down the US drones? The answer lies in the fact that its not ONLY a matter of violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty. If today, the US is attacking our tribal areas, tomorrow who can stop them targeting areas in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore? And then the  US can easily say “sorry it was a computer malfunction, caused by a cyber attack from Iran or China”.

As I have already informed you in one of my earlier emails, the biggest crime of Pervaiz Musharraf was not the toppling of your elected government. Rather, his biggest crime was to remove the fear of a nuclear power country from the hearts of its enemies. And that was the SPECIFIC reason, Americans knew in advance, before launching a full fledged bombardment on Salala post, resulting in killings of about 28 Pak Army officers and Jawans and injuring many others, that this was a gutless, pseudo and impotent nuclear power, with which they can do any offensive, without any HARD retaliation.

This fact is proved with the Americans refusal to apologise on their aggression. We must also never forget that this was not only an attack on Pakistan, but also a gift to India, EXACTLY on 26/11, for satisfying Indian’s ego on the anniversary of Mumbai attack. Americans call Pakistan a major non-NATO ally, but the fact is that in Asia, after Israel, no country is closer friend of America, than India.

Further, can anyone imagine the sorry image of a nuclear power, that a country like Afghanistan, which doesn’t even possesses regular armed forces, attacks Pakistani forces, at will; and beheads our soldiers in large numbers. All these HIGHLY aggressive and provocative acts against our country, have proven to our enemies that Pakistan either doesn’t have any threshold, or if at all there is any red line, its absolutely NOT visible to our enemies.

This is a very dangerous situation which constantly invites aggression against Pakistan. THIS IS ALSO AN OPEN INVITATION TO SNATCH AND GRAB OUR NUCLEAR ASSETS (WHENEVER THEY FEEL IT NECESSARY) WITHOUT ANY FEAR OF NUCLEAR OR CONVENTIONAL RETALIATION FROM PAKISTAN, ON THEIR ASSETS IN THE REGION. THE MAXIMUM THEY WILL EXPECT IS A LOCALISED RESISTANCE FROM PAKISTAN, WHICH IS ALWAYS FEARFUL ABOUT A FULL FLEDGED ATTACK AND CHOCKING OF ITS ECONOMIC LIFE LINE. But the recent OPEN NUCLEAR threat from North Korea, to attack America, is a classical case study, which proves that US can ill afford a nuclear attack. It will not be out of place to mention here that India, after testing 5000 KM range missiles, is now almost ready for the test of 10,000 KM range missiles. Which means for all the practical purposes, America will be, within the range of Indian nuclear attack.

In today’s world, nuclear weapons are NOT FOR — — USE; and are just acquired as a deterrence and to push the country’s interests, among the comity of nations.

Manufacturing the nuclear weapons are very expensive, but maintaining and securing the nuclear weapons are even more costly. We have to derive the CBR (cost benefit ratio) of manufacturing and maintaining the nuclear arsenals of Pakistan, knowing very well that these nuclear weapons are NOT for use, but are there to diffuse, the ill intentions of the Pakistan’s adversaries. And this BASIC purpose of acquiring nuclear weapons by Pakistan, has been ALMOST diluted, by the sell off, of the nation by Pervaiz Musharraf, which has prompted our adversaries to embark upon their plans of BALKANISATION of Pakistan, by various overt and covert means. Even today (9 June, 2013) there was a news item Published in the daily “The News” page #2 under the heading “US, UK support for Baloch leaders Shocks Pakistan, allies at UN”. This proves my stance that our nuclear status and stature = zero as far as, our influence is concerned, to steer Pakistan’s foreign policy and its image. And don’t forget we are a major non-NATO ally of the 49 nations NATO alliance, fighting US imposed WOT (war on terror) in Afghanistan; and our losses in men and material are minimum 10 times higher than the combined losses of the 49 countries.

On the other hand, the impact of North Korea’s nuclear image can be easily gauged with another news item published on 9 June, 2013, by the daily “The News” on page #24 under the tittle “UN food body approves $200m food aid to N Korea”.

So, coming back to the main issue, we should not forget that even non nuclear nations have been preserving their integrity and sovereignty in the face of blatant aggression from the US. The examples of Cuba and Iran are standing tall against American aggression, which also clearly proves that “one can’t be insulted more than he permits” or in other words “our respect is in our own hands”. Here, we must not forget that after Iran brought down US drone violating its air space, it refused to hand over the (intact) plane, despite severe pleadings from the US government. However, in our case it was reported in the press that our previous government, handed back the tail of the crashed US helicopter to America, which invaded Pakistan’s city of Abbotabad.

As such, Mr. Prime Minister, your number 1 job is to restore the image and reputation of a nuclear Pakistan. And luckily, the importance of Pakistan has gone so high (at least till the end of the year 2014) that you need not at all, embark upon war with any nation; only correct posturing with unmistakeable intentions, known VERY clearly to all and sundry, will deliver your objectives.

Last but not the least, a great statesman is not the person who wages the war and wins it. The greatest statesman is he, who achieves his objectives without waging a war. In this regard, Allah has ordained in the holy Quran, the art of statecraft, by telling the Muslims to keep your horses READY and FIGHTING FIT, and to your enemies, your 20 horses will look 200.

Best Wishes and Highest Regards,
