NAWAZ SHARIF PURPOSELY DRAGGING HIS FEET OVER THAR COAL DEVELOPMENT BY DR.SAMAR MUBARAKMAND. NAWAZ WANTS TO HAND OVER THAR COAL TO INDIA

Shaikh Saadi Sherazi

on Nawaz Sharif’s Biradari

Agar Qaht-e-Rajal Bashad zeeshaan az aun na geree

Yak Kamboh, Doyam Afghan, Soyam Bad zaat Kashmiri“

Translated:

Never trust three castes/creeds:

1. Awal Afghan ( First: Afghanistan )

2. Do-am Kamboh ( Second: Kaboh )

2. So-am Badzaat-E-Kaashmiri ( Third: Inferior & felonious Kashmiri )

Throughout History Kashmiris have backstabbed their benefactors. Even, US will find one day Nawaz Sharif, the Scion of an Amritsari, Kashmiri Family will back stab them. These are felonious people, who have been punished by God and put under the slavery of Hindu (115000 gods)

This aphorism from a Muslim Sage, Saadi Shirazi, alludes to the untrustworthy and backstabbing nature  of Kashmiri psyche. Nawaz Sharif is a Kashmiri Trojan Horse for US. He will act as if he is a friend of China, he will work against Chinese interests. His first stealth act of treachery against China, will be in the form of foot-dragging on the Gwadar Port Agreement. He will delay Chinese help on the Reko Diq Project. He will also use dilatory tactics in the Power Sector, and do his utmost to politically sabotage the chashma III IV projects. He will appear overly friendly to China, but, he carries a dagger to stab China in the back.

“I will be Pakistan Army Chief’s boss(Meaning he will protect India’s Interests),” says Nawaz Sharif to Indian News Interviewer.

He wants to invite Indian Hindus to take over Thar Coal Project, which is right now under the honest Leadership of Dr.Samar Mubarakmand
Islamabad, May 06, 2013

Refusing to play second fiddle to the powerful military, former Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said he will be the army chief’s “boss” if voted back to power in the May 11 general elections. A combative Sharif, whose party PML-N is widely expected to form the next government here, hinted that the current army chief Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani would be replaced by the “senior most” when he retires in November.

“All I know is when I was a Prime Minister, the policies were being formulated by federal government, by the civilian head of the state and then of course executed by the institutions,” Sharif said in an interview to Karan Thapar on CNN IBN’s Devil’s Advocate.

“I want that to continue and I’m very clear on that, that everybody must remain in their respective domain,” he said.

He was replying to a query if under his rule, the Army would continue to control Pakistan’s relations with US, India besides security policies of the government.

Asked if that means the Prime Minister will be Army chief’s boss, he said, “He is. The Army is an attached department of the federal government and of course the Chief of Army staff works under the federal government and implements the policies of the federal government”.

Replying to a query if he would give an extension to Kayani, he said, “I don’t think he will ask any further extension or he will be interested in any further extension. I will go by the book; I will go by the merit. Who so ever is the senior most, will have to occupy this…the next one, the next in line”.

Sharif who spoke on a wide range of issues also stressed on the importance of a combination of dialogue and armed intervention as the answer to combat terror in Pakistan.

He also said he has no vendetta against former military ruler Pervez Musharraf but said he will bring a treason trial against him for imposing martial law twice in the country.

“I think this problem has to be solved on priority basis, there is no doubt about it. And you can’t really solve all the problems through guns and bullets, you got to also explore other options.

“Options of engagement, may be those options work, in many countries problems have been solved by sitting across the table…I think all the options would have to be exercised,” Sharif said.

“We will have to have all the stakeholders sitting on the table, discuss the matter with them openly, candidly and very frankly and arrive at a policy and a strategy that is workable.

“And I think all those forces inside Pakistan, outside Pakistan will also have to be invited and we must then listen to each others concerns, address them and them pave the way for a solution to this problem,” he said.

Speaking about Musharraf, Sharif said he did not have any personal vendetta to settle.

“He has imposed martial law twice in Pakistan, first in 1999 and again in November 2007. He abrogated the constitution, he fired the judges, he dissolved Parliament unconstitutionally. I think he has to pay for that,” he said.

Asked if that meant he will sanction a treason trial against Musharraf, Sharif said, “That is not a crime that I can forgive, I think the nation will have to decide as to what the nation wants against him and then it will be left to judiciary and the judges to try and to decide”.

Speaking about his economic revival plans, Sharif said he would float an international tender for generating power from Thar coal mines.

“Indian businessmen are getting power from this coal, they are generating power from coal in India. Why can’t we do it? I think we will float an international tender, bidding and may be Indian businessmen can come and invest in Thar coal in Pakistan. We will be happy to welcome them”.

Musharraf’s life versus tomato price

Musharraf’s life versus tomato price

Posted on 2013-11-21 05:09:40 by Manzoor Ali

Good Morning: Manzoor Ali

There are those who say that Nawaz Sharif is a stubborn politician and then there are some who say he is not a fickle politician. Those who say he is stubborn, say it negatively, meaning that he is sticking up for wrong things and the wrong time and those who claim he is not fickle mean that the PML-N chief will not deviate from his proclaimed good cause even if moving forward with becomes tough.
In the present context many wanted the prime minister not to try the former president. They argue that Masharraf, whatever his misdeeds, is nevertheless an ex-army chief and down from the ordinary soldier up to the generals will not like him being tried and punished. For the ordinary troops it would mean degrading the whole army, those who call Nawaz Sharif a stubborn politician who images-43will need the writing on the wall and engage in combat with the generals. They say that democracy in Pakistan has been replanted and it still has to grow upwards and grow roots downwards, they also say, it is too easy to uproot the sapling of democracy.
Total absurd who say that Nawaz Sharif is not a fickle politicians and will not change course for the right path even if things get tough. They say that, whenever, a general is tried for aborting or suspending the Constitution such apprehension will have to be faced and unless a civilian government comes forward and shows guts, some generals will always harbour the hope of becoming the rulers of the country through unconstitutional means. Those who call Nawaz Sharif \’Not a fickle politicians\’, also, say that Nawaz Sharif promised to restore the judiciary and he restored it against great odd; similarly he vowed to put Musharraf on trial, not for the personal discomfort he caused the current prime minister but for violating the constitution, and he has kept this promise in spite of threats to his government.
For the common man, it is impossible to judge whether Nawaz Sharif is simply stubborn or just \’not a fickle politician\’ unless they either see the general punished or the army take over the country; however, right now they are definitely thinking that Nawaz Sharif has broken his promises by not bringing the prices of daily use items down; instead, the common man thinks that he has broken his vows with the people as the prices are going up and things are getting beyond the reach of the ordinary Pakistanis.
The people see the rupee going down against the major currencies of the world and they see the prices at the local markets going up and they also see the government doing nothing about the falling rupee or the rising prices. They also see that expect for the first month when the government went after, or gave the impression of, going after the big electricity and gas thieves, it has done nothing to curb corruption. The people of Pakistan are simple but not simpletons; they know that had the government curbed line losses (code phrase for power theft), the first man to come on the television and report the success to the people would have been Khawaja Asif. However, with the way things are going they see no hope of seeing the power minister on the small screen announcing the good news.
Unknown-49-1As I said the people of this country are simple but not simpletons; they know that had the big fish who evade paying taxes were caught and forced to pay, the first man to come on television screen and report increase in revenue from income tax would have been Finance Minister Ishaq Dar but the common Pakistani doesn\’t expect to see him soon on TV making this announcement.
The people of Pakistan are, however, asking the question whether putting Musharraf on trial or convicting him will bring the prices of the items of daily use down? If not then the people of this country have no state in whether Nawaz Sharif is stubborn politician or a \’not fickle politician or whether the retired general is punished or left free to play gold.
Maybe, Nawaz Sharif and his political subordinate in the government do not know but the fact is that the people of Pakistan will not vote for him because he brought the Asghan Khan case to life again or that he got Musharraf convicted for treason. They will judge their own financial conditions and ask themselves the question: Are we better off than we were five years ago? If the answer is \’no\’ they will not vote for the PML-N candidates even if Nawas puts all the other previous dictators trial, get them convicted and gets death sentences form them and hangs the skeletons of the dead dictators, the people will not vote for him. However, they will vote for him if the prices of wheat, tomato, potato and sugar go down.

Nawaz Sharif Family Mafia – CJ, Nawaz, & NAB Stone-Walling: What is the Status of Hudaibiya Paper Mills Case?

 Will there be justice?

“In August 2008 the reopening by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) of the corruption cases about Hudaibiya Paper Mills, Ittefaq Foundry and Raiwind assets meant that the entire Sharif family was in the dock. There are three cases against the Sharif brothers and their families, which do not fall under the ambit of the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), as all these were established after 1999. The cases were registered in 2000. Nine persons were nominated in the Hudaibiya paper mills case. They are late Mian Muhammad Sharif, Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, widow of Mian Muhammad Sharif, Mian Abbas Sharif, Hussain Nawaz, Hamza Shahbaz, Shamim Akhtar, Sabiha Abbas wife of Mian Abbas Sharif and Mariam Safdar. In the case of Hudabiya Sugar Mills, the charge is of money laundering to the tune of over Rs600 million whereas in the case against Ittefaq Foundry, the directors are accused of bank loans default involving a total sum of Rs1.6 billion.”

Pakistan’s political system is broken: its political parties are ineffective, functioning for decades as instruments of two families, the Bhuttos and the Sharifs, two clans, both corrupt. The Bhutto-Zardari axis may be considered “left leaning,” while the Sharif brothers may be considered “right leaning.” The Sharifs are much closer to Pakistan’s military, and to Pakistan’s Muslim fundamentalists. Punjabi, the Sharifs represent Pakistan’s major ethnic bloc, and the devout Sunni Sharif has an advantage over the Bhuttos, who have Shiite ties.

In 1968, Dr Mahbubul Haq spoke of 22 families that controlled 68 percent of Pakistan’s industrial assets, 86 percent of banking assets and many other sources of income generation. Almost all the big business groups of the 1970s had started in 1947 as family joint ventures.

Mian Sharif and his six brothers set up an iron-melting furnace in Landa Bazaar and in 1967-68 expanded the business with his brothers. Later, he set up the Ittefaq Mills in the Shahara area. He went on to set up the Ittefaq Group of Companies and more than half a dozen factories and sugar mills across the Punjab, rising to fame in Pakistan’s business circles.

Mian Sharif’s business faced a serious setback during the Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s regime, as the government nationalised his industrial units and took over the Ittefaq Foundry. In 1972, when Zulfikar Ali Bhutto nationalized the Ittefaq Foundry, the heart of the Sharif family’s industrial empire, this set the Sharif family back considerably. The Sharifs disappeared from public eye and tried doing business in the West Asia. Mian Sharif founded the Sharif Group of Industries in 1974 after the nationalisation of the Ittefaq Foundry on the orders of prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
In 1981, the family returned with a bang, and shot up to power. When Gen Ziaul Haq deposed Zulfikar Bhutto and took over as the chief martial law administrator, Mian Sharif and his three sons returned to Pakistan and managed to get the Ittefaq Foundry back from the government. In 1978, General Ziaul Haq handed over Ittefaq Foundry to the Sharifs of Lahore without inviting any bids. In fact, two other nationalised units, Nowshera Engineering in the NWFP and Hilal Ghee in Multan, were handed over to their original owners. Mian Sharif also developed friendly relations with Gen Zia and became one of the general’s most trusted men. In 1983, General Ziaul Haq inducted Nawaz Sharif into the Punjab provincial cabinet as finance minister.

During the rule of Nawaz Sharif, the Gidani beach was the largest ship breaking industry in the world, providing more than $1 Billion in earnings to the people of the Mekran coast. To help the Ittefaq foundry keep its monopoly on steel, Nawaz Sharif imposed strict tariffs on the ship breaking industry, while expropriating the Pakistan Railway for free transportation of imported steel to Ittefaq Foundry. These acts of Nawaz Sharif destroyed the largest ship breaking industry in the world. The ships were sold at scrap value and provided valuable engines and repair material to an entire industry in Pakistan. The Gidani beach provided steel to the Pakistan Steel Mills as very low cost.

The House of Ittefaq, the industrial conglomerate of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s family, is not unity anymore and 119 offspring’s siblings and spouses of the seven founding brothers are currently battling in courts for the division of the assets of the Ittefaq group. As soon as Nawaz Sharif became Prime Minister in 1990, Mian Mohammad Sharif switched over to setting up projects independent of the other partners, thus laying the grounds for split. According to agreement reached in Lahore High Court by members of the family sometime in 1996, the House of Ittefaq split in two groups. The first comprised the families of Mian Mohammad Sharif, Mohammad Shafi, Barkat Ali, Yousaf Aziz and Idrees Bashir while the second group comprised the families of Meraj Din and Siraj Din. Members of the Ittefaq group are currently operating in three groups namely Sharif Group, Ittefaq Group and Haseeb Waqas Group. The three groups have only four companies listed on the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE).

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif left the country along with 18 other family members in December, 2000, after striking a deal with the military government. Mian Muhammad Sharif, father of Pakistan’s ex-Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, died in October 2000. Mian Sharif, a respected politician and noted industrialist of Pakistan, was in exile in Saudi Arabia along with his family after an agreement in 2000 with the Pakistan government.

The Sharif family is the most influential family in the Punjab province, especially in the urban areas. The Sharif family is moving into third-generation politics. By grooming their sons, the Sharifs are perpetuating a political tradition that allows a few families to maintain a hold over national politics. The PML (N) continued to be led by the Sharif family, despite their exile in Saudi Arabia and the Saudis’ restrictions on their political activities, that effectively cut them out of the 2002 elections.
