In the early morning of Saturday 26 November two NATO Apache helicopters, an AC-130 gunship, and a number of fighter jets perpetrated a sustained and deadly attack on two Pakistani army border posts on the Afghan-Pakistan border. Located high on the Salala mountain ridge, the two army posts were brutally attacked for approximately two hours. In what was evidently a naked act of aggression, the US-led forces bombarded the border posts for forty-five minutes, left for twenty minutes, and subsequently returned – attacking for a further hour. Twenty-four Pakistani soldiers including two officers were murdered in the assault.

The sustained nature of the attack precludes the possibility of it being a mistake, as claimed by the U.S. government. The United States Military would have us believe that, with its world class communications and intelligence infrastructure, it mistakenly mauled an ally repeatedly for two hours, killing dozens. This is an utterly unfeasible theory. Further throwing this theory into question, it has been revealed thatPakistani forces were in constant contact with American forces throughout the attacks – informing them in no uncertain terms that they were attacking a Pakistani military position.(1)

As a direct result of the attack, U.S. forces are now facing an unprecedented crisis in Afghanistan.(2) Pakistan closed off U.S. supply routes to Occupied Afghanistan, leaving thousands of tonnes of NATO military equipment and fuel stranded in Pakistan, unable to reach its destination across the border. Knowing that this eventuality was not only predictable but inevitable, one has to ask why the U.S. chose to perpetrate the deadly attack.

The brazen and bloody assault on the Pakistani army can only be understood in light of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), and the CIA’s ongoing war to destabilise the country. The TTP is a militant-terrorist group fostered by the CIA and India’s RAW, being used as a proxy force against the Pakistani nation as part of a ‘fourth generation war’.(3) The history of the TTP will be revisited in this piece.

Due to offensives mounted by the Pakistani Army and Air Force in the last 8-9 months the TTP had largely been pushed out of its relatively comfortable position in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas’ villages. As a result, the TTP terrorists fled to neighbouring Afghanistan’s mountainous border region; dwelling in caves and camps in far less favourable conditions. A series of Pakistani border posts were subsequently set up in the border region in order to prevent the TTP terrorists from re-entering from Afghanistan.(4) Uprooted from their bases in Pakistan and caught up amid Afghanistan’s savage, merciless winter, these precious CIA-RAW assets were being ‘decimated’, according to well-connected Pakistani analyst Syed Zaid Hamid.

Through their strategically-placed border posts, Pakistani forces were holding a line and preventing the TTP from re-entering Pakistan. The calculated and bloody U.S-led attack on these Pakistani border posts was nothing more than a pre-planned attempt to forge a path back into Pakistan for the withering CIA-RAW TTP terrorists.

Just as we have seen in the criminal, genocidal attack on Libya, NATO forces are providing military and logistical support to their ground-based proxy armies – in this case TTP terrorists. This is the essence of the strategy of ‘fourth generation warfare’(3) that is being used on Pakistan, in tandem with media manipulation, and the installation and maintenance of a corrupt puppet government.

Less than a month after the bloody 26 November attack on Pakistan’s border posts, NATO’s deadly support of its proxy terror army began to bear fruit. Several serious incidents tied to the TTP occurred in Pakistan’s border region. Notably the TTPbombed a Pakistani Rangers’ vehicle on December 9,(5) killing three Rangers and wounding four others.

On Friday, December 23, fifteen Pakistani soldiers were abducted from the Mulazi area of the northwestern Tank district. A local Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan commander confirmed that the soldiers were being held by TTP militants.(6)

The following day the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan carried out a suicide bombing in Pakistan’s north-western border region, wherein it rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into an Army camp. Nine Pakistani soldiers were killed in the attack, and nineteen were wounded when a building collapsed due to the blast. At the time of writing, more bodies are feared to be under the rubble.

On New Years Eve, one week after the abduction of 15 Pakistani soldiers from Mulazi, the TTP carried out one of its most animalistic attacks yet since its NATO-sparked ‘comeback’, blowing up a boys’ primary school in the Shahabkhel area of the Nowshera district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province at dawn. The TTP has launched hundreds of attacks like this one, especially on female institutions, depriving thousands of Pakistani children from getting an education due to their parents’ fear of sending them to school and never seeing them again.(7) On the same day, taking a page straight out of the (to be discussed shortly) Zionist-Hindutvadi Dragon Policy, masked gunmen on motorcycles shot dead influential Shi’a religious leader Syed Muhammad Askari Raza in Karachi, causing a wave of protests against what demonstrators called “target killings”,(8) a clear indication that the articulately-awake Pakistani people were cognizant of ‘Israeli’ hands perpetrating the murder. The same motorcycle killers were responsible for the murder of beloved Sunni Mufti Abdul Samad Soomro in Gulbahar, respected Shi’a chief of the Sajjadia Scouts, Nayyar Zaidi in Orangi Town, and Dr. Saleem Kharal of Jinnah Hospital.(8)

Sources close to Syed Raza revealed that the killers and harbingers of chaos were none other than the TTP.(9) The motive was clearly to trigger sectarian war, a long-time goal of ‘Israeli’ policy-makers in the Knesset and Herzliya. Thankfully, the Pakistani people have rejected these cynical and orientalist attempts by the saboteurs to generate Muslim-on-Muslim bloodshed. Five days after the bombing and its attempts at provoking communal war in and around Karachi, in an act of pure, uncut, inhuman savagery, the TTP monstrously executed all of the soldiers that it had kidnapped on December 23rd, vowing to continue its aggression against the Islamic Republic of Pakistan until further notice.(10)

The Afghan Taliban and The Tehrik-I-Taliban Pakistan: Cut From A Completely Different Cloth

Psychological warfare being a central pillar of the ‘fourth generation warfare’ model, is now being unleashed on Pakistan and Afghanistan. Manipulation on the part of the Zionist-dominated mass media skews the facts surrounding these events in order to buttress the Anglo-American-Zionist narrative. This is demonstrated in the coverage of the December 24 attack. The Press Trust of India,(11) CNN,(12) and severalother(13) Zionist news outlets manipulated the facts and attributed the attack to ‘The Taliban‘ rather than the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan.

The BBC was even more astounding in its dishonest attempts to mislead readers. A 24 December piece published on the BBC website(14) reported the fact that the suicide attack had occurred, and that nobody had thus far claimed responsibility. The sheer barefaced audacity of the BBC’s disingenuous reportage is revealed when one sees what the editor has chosen to directly connect with this story. Beneath the piece we see a section titled, ‘More on This Story’, wherein the reader is provided with a wealth of hyperlinks pertaining to the Afghan Taliban (including the standard Sunni-Shia sectarian rhetoric).

Startlingly, if the reader follows the link “Who are the Taliban?”, they are taken toa page(15) which unequivocally claims that the Taliban is “active in both Afghanistan and Pakistan“, and it “threatens to destabilise Pakistan, where they control areas in the north-west and have been blamed for a wave of suicide bombings and other attacks.

This crude method of disinformation serves to delegitimise the righteous resistance in Afghanistan by blurring the line between the Afghan Taliban, and the CIA-RAW Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan – two completely separate groups. In geopolitical terms the Afghan Taliban has only domestic ambitions; it is fighting a war of liberation to free Afghanistan from foreign occupation. Conversely, the TTP is literally a proxy army of the American-Indian-Israeli nexus now seeking to destabilise and ‘soften-up’ Pakistan.

The American government has struggled to publicly justify its illegal, morally inexcusable occupation of Afghanistan due to the fact that ‘Al Qaeda’ – the ostensible enemy – is simply not there. Senior U.S. generals have admitted this in no uncertain terms. By pegging such terror attacks on ‘The Taliban‘ rather than the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, the Zionist media demonises the Afghan Taliban, and portrays it as a terrorist group with extra-territorial ambitions. Thus for the Afghan war theatre the ostensible enemy morphs from ‘Al Qaeda’, into the Taliban resistance movement. This is the only way the criminal and utterly baseless war on Afghanistan can remain politically tenable.

Tehrik-I-Taliban: Monstrous Creation Of Mossad, RAW and CIA

Created in 2004 to coincide with the inauguration of the CIA’s genocidal drone program, the Tehrik-I-Taliban of Pakistan (TTP) is the perfected product of an ongoing, incestuous relationship between the Zionist entity’s Mossad, Hindutvadi India’s RAW and the CIA itself. One month after Mossad’s false flag attack on September 11th, 2001,(16) and just three days after the criminal invasion of Afghanistan, two ‘Israeli’ agents with Mossad and IOF connections were apprehended inside the Mexican Congress building of Mexico City with 9mm handguns, nine grenades, C-4 explosives, three detonators, 58 bullets and fake Pakistani passports. Their mission was to destroy the Mexican Congress.(17) This false flag operation was intended to be phase II of 9/11, triggering a NATO invasion of Pakistan. When the mission failed, the Zionist entity activated its contingency plan: the Dragon Policy, an updated version of the Oded-Yinon-strategy of balkanizing Islamic states on ethno-sectarian lines.

Following the failure in Mexico City, the upper echelons of Zionist and Hindutvadi intelligence erected four new clandestine agencies solely dedicated to the destruction of Pakistan, which would immediately be followed by the originally-intended aggression to denuclearize the bulwark of Islamic Resistance to international Zionism. The highest ranking figures of Pakistan’s financial, political, military and religious sectors were on the hitlist and every successful attack was meant to soften up Pakistan for the imminent invasion. Using funds from the unlimited bank accounts of Mossad and Aman, the Zionism-Hindutva intelligence nexus established 57 training camps across the northern frontiers of India and occupied Kashmir, kidnapping and blackmailing Resistance fighters to fight against their own comrades while simultaneously forging alliances with mafia bosses and narcotics tycoons and training them in the finer arts of black ops. These various elements served as the perfect quislings as any rebellion whatsoever would be punished with imprisonment in the harshest of dungeons. These puppets would be deployed into the field under Mossad-RAW guidance and once an attack was completed, the Zionist media would report as an ‘act of Islamic terrorism.’ If a ‘checkout’ was not secured, senior operatives of the ‘Israeli’-Indian nexus would finish the job.(18)

The CIA and its corporate offshoot, Blackwater (also known as Xe and Academi), a festering bubble of anti-Arab, anti-Muslim hatred and deep pro-Israel sentiments, joined the Dragon Policy in 2004. Blackwater agents became integrated with the ordnance units of Mossad and RAW. The CIA took a more proactive role by absorbing past recruits of the Zionist-Hindutvadi intelligence training camps and cultivated them into a powerful proxy force that specialized in guerilla tactics and sectarian warfare: the Tehrik-I-Taliban.
The name was chosen for a very sinister, deceptive and specific reason: to despicably smear the real Taliban in occupied Afghanistan, a Resistance force fighting a ‘7arb el 7uriyeh (war of liberation)’ against NATO invaders. It is classic psychological warfare. The Taliban, not surprisingly, has rightfully maintained its innocence and condemned Blackwater for being behind bombings and other provocations in Pakistan.(18) Since its birth, the Tehrik-I-Taliban has murdered or wounded more than 100,000 Pakistanis and caused more than $50 billion in damage to Pakistan’s economy. The Pakistani army has fought back with vigor and has arrested hundreds of Tehrik-I-Taliban militiamen, revealing the nature of this thuggish group of murderers; proxy agents detained in Waziristan, Karachi and Baluchistan have been caught with sophisticated, military-grade weaponry manufactured by the Zionist entity.(19)

Occupied Kashmir: 65 Years Of Barbarity Forgotten By The World

On a relatively small patch of land in one of the most strategically important regions on the face of the planet, there exists a people who have lived under a punishing, criminal occupation for more than six decades. No, it is not holy Palestine struggling against the cruel occupier of Zionism but breathtakingly-beautiful Kashmir, seeking “azadi,” the Kashmiri word for freedom, from Hindutva, the supremacist ideology that guides the political leadership of India. There is a Pashtun proverb that says, “Every man takes his home as Kashmir; the paradise of this earth.” This simple, eloquent language indicates that Kashmir, commonly referred to as ‘Heaven on earth’ even in Western circles, is a gem of a place rooted in the most astounding beauty. Beneath the gorgeousness however, is something violently grotesque: 65 years of barbaric occupation and a plethora of unspeakable human rights abuses that have largely been forgotten by the world.

The Vale of Kashmir, an independent nation with its own language, its own natural resources which provided self-sustaining autonomy for centuries, and its own rich, ancient, distinct and beautiful culture, one completely separate from India, is a bleeding wound of Rothschild-financed British colonialism. Even prior to the establishment of the British Raj in 1858, the colonialists of the Crown had brutalized and occupied vast parts of the Southeast Asia Subcontinent, including Kashmir. The British empire installed alien rulers in Kashmir, the savage Dogra dynasty, ending indigenous governance and inaugurating over 100 years of monarchical oppression, massacres and other atrocities. The goal was to disconnect the Kashmiri people from their strong faith in Islam, strip them of their history, westernize them and absorb them as subjugated peoples of the empire. The collapse of the dynasty and Britain’s imminent partition of the Indian territory left theKashmiri people wide open to a new form of oppression: military occupation.(20)

The Dogra dynasty only vanished in title however, as the rulers simply exchanged their puppet kingship over Kashmir for puppet premiership. Britain set up the Radcliffe Commission for the purpose of allotting territory to India and Pakistan and immediately focused on the Vale. Heading it was Britain’s Viceroy of India, Lord Mountbatten, who manipulated the Radcliffe Commission in India’s favor because the Crown did not trust the Pakistan leadership, which was seeking full freedom from colonialism. The Gurdaspur district of the Punjab region should’ve been assigned to Pakistan as it was overwhelmingly Muslim but was nonsensically assigned to India instead. Gurdaspur connected India to Kashmir via an easy-to-reach land route. Without Gurdaspur, India would have no access to Kashmir. Kashmir became a casualty of Lord Mountbatten’s meddling. Dozens of UN resolutions would pass in favor of Kashmiri self-determination after the partition that left Kashmir in limbo but like resolutions regarding Palestine, they would never be implemented. Now, 750,000 Indian troops march through Kashmir at all times, making the Vale the most militarized zone on planet earth.(20)

In defiance of the brutal
Hindutvadi occupation,
the Kashmiri people

The Indian occupation has been even more barbaric and more slaughterous than its Dogra predecessors. The most deranged and sadistic forms of torture, including electroshock and sexual abuse, are a norm in Kashmir and used by the Hindutvadi occupiers often.(21)Since 1989 alone, Hindutva has murdered at least 93,712 Kashmiri civilians, leaving 22,762 women widowed and 107,434 children orphaned. Indian occupation troops have raped over 10,021 Kashmiri women, arrested 119,752 persons and destroyed more than 105,936 homes and structures.(22) Laws have been institutionalized by the Hindutvadi government to protect its killing machine in Kashmir. The AFSPA (Armed Forces Special Powers Act) allows the Hindutvadi occupation army to kill with impunity. The PSA (Public Safety Act; an Orwellian name if there ever was one) allows the occupiers to arrest anyone in Kashmir without charge, without warrant. Section 144 bans the gathering of more than 5 persons in a single area, thus outlawing protests and political workshops. In fact, dogs have more fundamental rights than human beings in Hindutvadi-occupied Kashmir.(23)

Despite the genocide and draconian laws of the occupation’s rule, the brave Kashmiris have launched numerous intifada-like uprisings over the years and are now on the verge of erupting again after the recent killing of yet another Kashmiri youth, 18-year old Altaf Ahmad Sood, who was gunned down on January 2nd, 2012 by Indian internal security thugs in a protest against the power shortages throughout the Vale that are manipulated by the occupation as collective punishment,(24)much like how ‘Israel’ forcibly causes blackouts in the illegally besieged Gaza Strip.(25) It is chilling that the young man’s martyrdom came just days before the 19th anniversary of one of the worst massacres in the history of the Hindutvadi occupation: January 6th, 1993’s Sopore massacre, in which Indian paramilitary forces murdered at least 57 Kashmiris, burning many of them alive, wounding hundreds of others and destroying over 295 shops.(26) No different than the Zionist entity is the Hindutvadi regime in its lust for blood.

Hindutva and Zionism: Ideological Twins, Partners In Occupying Kashmir

The real reason why the horrors that are experienced daily by the indigenous in occupied Kashmir aren’t reported by the Zionist media actually makes all of the sense in the world once the veil of ignorance is removed from one’s eyes: India’s occupation of Kashmir has been guided, assisted, financed and supported by the usurping Zionist entity from its inception. Not surprisingly, multiple research studies and polls conducted by the ‘Israeli’ regime’s foreign ministry found India to be the most pro-Zionist country in the world.(27)

Indian Foreign Minister S.M. Krishna just completed a trip to occupied Palestine, where he met with genocidal war criminals Benjamin Netanyahu (real name: Benjamin Mileikowsky), Avigdor Lieberman (real name: Evet Lvovich Liberman) and Shimon Peres (real name: Szymon Perski) to laud the ties between Zionism and Hindutva and sign a free trade agreement. Due to hundreds of ‘Israeli’ and Indian companies in the fields of security, agriculture, technology, alternative energy, real estate, pharmaceuticals and telecommunications entering partnerships over the last decade, Zionist-Hindutvadi trade skyrocketed to over $5 billion in 2011 and it is expected to triple with the free trade agreement. ‘Israeli’ Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz stated unequivocally that, “Israel views its ties with India as its second most important relationship after the United States.”(28) In godfather of the Zionist entity’s criminal nuclear program and butcher of Qana Shimon Peres’ meeting with Krishna, he called India “the greatest democracy on earth.” Additionally, the Zionist entity sells more arms to Hindutva than any other country on earth, and the bilateral defense trade between the two occupations amounted to $9 billion in 2011.(29)

These nauseating and telling statements however, coupled with the landmark meeting, are mere drops in the bucket. The alliance between ‘Israel’ and India is an abyssal ideological one that began with Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, better known as Veer Savarkar, founder of Hindutva, a rabid anti-Muslim, anti-Christian supremacist and agent of British colonialism. Savarkar believed that the entire Southeast Asia Subcontinent belonged to the ‘Hindus,’ and that the nation of Hindutva was preordained to rule over all other groups across the globe for its people were genetically superior. Savarkar was also a Zionist, and his affinity and admiration for international Jewry and its dream of colonizing and cleansing Palestine inspired him to concoct the Hindutvadi ideology to begin with. He and his followers called on the international community to grant ‘the entire restoration of Palestine as a Jewish holy land and fatherland.’ It was the pressure of Savarkar and his vast network of supremacist foot soldiers that forced the Indian nation to switch its initial anti-Zionist stance to the recognition of the Zionist entity on September 17, 1950.(30)

Extremists United:
Hindutvadis view
the Jewish ‘state’ as their
natural ally in their
war against the Muslims
of the Southeast Asia
Subcontinent.

Like a cancer, Hindutva slowly spread throughout the Indian political sphere, transforming rational foreign policy into radicalized, expansionist extremism over the course of 30 years, finally rising to prominence in the 1980s through the pro-Zionist, pro-US, pro-war and anti-Muslim Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), an entity fully funded by ‘Israel’ that established deep, deep military, economic and intelligence ties with the Zionist regime upon taking hold of the Indian government. A Hindutvadi Lobby has also been cultivated in the US with the brotherly guidance of AIPAC, the ‘Israeli’ entity’s subversive foreign policy weapon, for the purpose of cutting out American political opposition to Indian hegemony in the region as well as to mask India’s barbarous occupation of Kashmir as ‘national security’ policy.(30) Zionist and Hindutvadi lobby groups are also currently and actively collaborating in silencing voices critical and damning of their respective entities’ crimes on college campuses throughout the US.(31)

The corrosive penetration of Indian military, intelligence and political circles by Hindutva and its need to frame the nation-state world’s view through a Zionist lens was evident as early as 1962 when the Zionist regime came to India’s aid with arms, ammo and military hardware as it fought a war with China. ‘Israel’ would repeat the gesture in India’s wars with Pakistan over occupied Kashmir in 1965 and 1971. Hindutva would reciprocate by sending military equipment to the Zionist regime during al-Naksa (the 1967 war). India’s security forces began getting shipped to the Zionist entity in the 1980s for training with the rise of BJP and multiple times throughout this decade, ‘Israel’ and the Hindutvadi regime worked together to undermine Pakistan’s nuclear facilities. After heavy, covert Zionist lobbying from 1986-1992, India and ‘Israel’ began open relations with the opening of a Zionist embassy in New Delhi and a Hindutvadi embassy in Tel Aviv. Since then, ‘Israel’ has transferred laser guided missiles, tanks, submarines and other naval craft, an anti-ballistic missile system, electronic warfare systems, and hi-tech surveillance equipment to Hindutva, as well as ‘Israeli’-designed Tavor rifles which were given to brutal occupying forces in Kashmir.(32)

The Kargil War between India and Pakistan, fought in occupied Kashmir, would not have been a triumph for India without the Zionist entity rushing military support and intelligence to the Indian army at the height of war. Ravager of Qibya and butcher of the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps, Ariel Sharon (real name: Ariel Scheinermann), and leading Hindutvadi war criminal of Kargil, Prime Minister of India at the time Atal Bihari Vajpayee, signed the ‘Delhi Statement on Friendship and Cooperation between India and Israel’ in 2003 to take cooperation between the two occupiers into a higher dimension, making Zionist training of Hindutvadi paramilitary forces a public spectacle and bringing Mossad and Shin Bet officials to India a year after the Vajpayee-Sharon agreement was inked to train the Kashmir-based Indian army in torture and repression techniques.(32)

Close cooperation
between Indian and ‘Israeli’
intelligence has
brought murderous chaos
to occupied Kashmir.

Nowhere has the Indian-‘Israeli’ relationship been more dangerously and murderously fruitful than the intelligence sector. Mossad and RAW have been in close contact and linked with one another since the early 1970s. ‘Israeli’ tourists that have been visiting occupied Kashmir for decades upon decades have been revealed to be Mossad surveillance squads and just one year after the heinous Kargil War, IOF commander Eli Katzir was sent to occupied Kashmir with an elite Zionist death squad to assist Indian occupation forces in crushing Kashmiri Resistance. Dozens of Mossad-Aman-Shin-Bet-IOF-linked companies are operating in India with the purpose of tracking and oppressing the Kashmiri people, including Ness Technologies, Magic Software Enterprises, Check Point Software Technologies, RAD Data Communications, Veraz Networks and NDS Group. Mossad has also erected an electric barrier fence with thermal imaging devices on the border of the Indian Punjab region and occupied Kashmir, effectively imprisoning people living on the border and cutting them off from family members. RAW and Mossad also deploy ‘journalists’ throughout independent Asian and Western media outlets to misreport, propagandize andoutright lie about the happenings in Kashmir.(33)

In January 2008, the Hindutvadi-dominated Indian government launched the ‘Israeli’-made Tecsar satellite into orbit at Mossad and RAW’s request. The Zionist entity would use the highly-advanced piece of machinery to spy on Iran while India would use it for further repressive means in occupied Kashmir.(33) The penultimate pinnacle of the Mossad-RAW nexus is the aforementioned Dragon Policy and at the very heart of it is occupied Kashmir. One of the key revelations that emerged from the now-infamous ‘Raymond Davis affair’ was that Davis was attempting to entrap Kashmiri Resistance fighters and link them to the Tehrik-I-Taliban. Davis himself is directly linked to the proxy terror outfit and an exposed agent of the Zionist-Hindutvadi Dragon Policy.(34)

Azadi activists and fighters in occupied Kashmir have confirmed to these writers that Mossad is “all over Kashmir, like sand in the desert,” according to one 25-year old fighter named Jamal Zaffar Khan of Sopore, who lost his brother, 17-year old Maqbool, in the summer intifada of 2010 to Indian bullets, or rather, ‘Israeli’ bullets from an ‘Israeli’ gun in Indian hands. A Srinagar activist who asked to be identified only as “Zubair Zubair” quipped that, “In the Vale, one cannot tell where RAW ends and Mossad begins.” Another activist, who asked to be identified by his kunya, “Abu Ghulam,” from Kupwara, chillingly stated, “We would rather be killed by the Hindutvadis here. They kill us and drag us into big dirt graves. The Mossad people shoot you, disfigure you and take your organs.” The testimonies mirror those of Palestinians, Lebanese, Iraqis and others who have faced down the cruel and deranged methods of Zionism.

The absolute summit of the Mossad-RAW confederacy is most certainly, false flag terrorism; the intelligence agencies have launched a plethora of attacks since their working relationship began, with the two biggest game-changers being the heartbreaking Babri Masjid demolition of 1992 and the 26/11 ‘masterpiece’ attack in 2008.(30) Both are integral to the hegemonic endgame that the Zionists and Hindutvadis hope will not only bring about the fall of Pakistan as a sovereign nation but the destruction of Kashmir’s autonomy as well.

A terrible horror has been
planned for occupied Kashmir;
a Hindutvadi-Zionist ‘Nakba’
to ethnically cleanse the Vale
of its indigenous Muslim
population.

Operation Kurukshetra: Hindutva’s ‘Nakba’-Style Ethnic Cleansing Plan For The Vale

The NATO bloodshed in the mountains of Salala was an assault that was meant to restart the Israeli-American-Indian 4th Generation Warfare which has ravaged Pakistan for the last 7 years in hopes of eventually leading to denuclearization. There is one more level to this intricate geopolitical plot that has been kept under wraps for years but which will be exposed for the first time in this paper: Operation Kurukshetra, the final phase of India’s ‘Cold Start Doctrine.’ Cold Start is a strategy that is meant to work hand-in-glove with the US Af-Pak doctrine, sending Indian troops into Pakistan as a crushing invasion force while American brigades would form a corridor to Afghanistan by occupying Gwadar Port, thus eliminating a vital Pakistani lifeline and landing a death-blow to Chinese energy interests.(35) Cold Start however is not only a directive to launch a surprise offensive war of aggression, it is a directive to launch a war of expansion. It was designed to capture patches of Pakistani land, much like the Zionist entity’s preemptive expansionist-aggression against Egypt, Syria, Jordan and the rest of occupied Palestine in 1967.(36)

The move towards Cold Start was initiated by then-Chief of Staff of the Indian Army, General Sundararajan Padmanabhan on April 28th 2004, to interlock with the creation of the Tehrik-I-Taliban and the CIA’s drone program. General Padmanabhan’s plan was to essentially eliminate defensive tactics, harnessing the full offensive strength of the Indian army by combining the might of the Indian Navy, Indian Air Force and multiple Indian army battle groups to target Pakistan.(37) Militarily, Cold Start was designed to “destroy” the Pakistani army and “enslave” Pakistan, eroding its Islamic character and chaining it to a system of Western-based colonial ‘democracy’. Much of Cold Start was based on the usurping Zionist entity’s strategy for Lebanon, which failed thanks to the efforts andsteadfastness of the righteous Islamic Resistance of Hezbollah.(38)

Former Indian
Chief of Staff,
General
Sundararajan
Padmanabhan:
war criminal,
murderer,
architect of the
Cold Start Doctrine.

The US government has pressed Indian political and military officials to renounce the idea of Cold Start and as a matter of Indian ‘national security,’ in New Delhi, Cold Start doesn’t even officially exist. Stephen P. Cohen, a rabid Zionist, anti-Pakistan hasbaranik and anti-Muslim hatemonger that propagandizes for the Brookings Institute, one of the biggest and most powerful Zionist think tanks in the US, has suggested that Cold Start is a myth that the Pakistani army is obsessed with so they can“delay or drag out doing a serious reorientation of their military.”(39) This would figure, as Cohen is the one who coined the phrase ‘Cold Start’ and has ‘predicted’ numerous crises on the Southeast Asia Subcontinent that have all magically come to fruition, all of which of course come from a Zionist-Hindutvadi point of view.(39)

Adding further fuel to the fire, Wikileaks, the false whistleblower and long-exposed hydra operation of the CIA and Mossad that has been caught time and time again waging psychological warfare against the enemies of Zionism,(40) published information that stated, “Cold Start is not a plan for a comprehensive invasion and occupation of Pakistan. Instead, it calls for a rapid, time- and distance-limited penetration into Pakistani territory with the goal of quickly punishing Pakistan, possibly in response to a Pakistan-linked terrorist attack in India, without threatening the survival of the Pakistani state or provoking a nuclear response.”(41) In Orwellian Newspeak, it is in fact, just that: a plan of comprehensive invasion and occupation of Pakistan.

Cold Start’s godfather, General Padmanabhan, came to be well-liked by the Hindutvadi extremist portions of Indian society and government because of his role as a commander in occupied Kashmir during the opening years of the (ongoing) major intifada that began in 1989. His brutality and monstrous tactics are legendary to the Kashmiri people, he is known for crushing Resistance of all kinds with any and all means of collective punishment available and is a specialist in mountainous warfare as well as psychological ops.(42) Sources close to the ISI have revealed to these writers that the ‘good general,’ a devoted Hindutvadi himself with close ties to BJP and lesser ties with other extremist parties like RSS, is also one of the two architects of Operation Kurukshetra.

Padmanabhan’s counterpart is none other than Eli Katzir, the Zionist ‘counter-terrorism’ commander who has been wreaking havoc on occupied Kashmir for over a decade now. As mentioned earlier, Kurukshetra is the final phase of India’s Cold Start Doctrine. It is named after the Kurukshetra War discussed in the epic Sanskrit poem and Hindu text known as the Mahabharata. This war was an aggressive one, in which cousins fought cousins; in which the ‘righteous’ cleansed the ‘unrighteous’ from holy lands as per the will of ‘the gods.’

Operation Kurukshetra
is the pinnacle of
Hindutvadi supremacism
and extremism.

Like the Zionists, the Hindutvadis name their military operations according to their religious texts because they genuinely believe that Hindutva will reign supreme over the lands allotted to them by ‘the gods’. When applied to the current geopolitical chessboard, the ‘unrighteous’ to be cleansed from the ‘promised lands’ are the indigenous people of occupied Kashmir. Kurukshetra is the Hindutvadi equivalent of the Zionist entity’s “Plan D”, which was implemented by the Zionist militias and Jewish terror gangs that ethnically cleansed historic Palestine from 1947-1948, driving nearly 800,000 Palestinians from their homeland. The Padmanabhan-Katzir plan would come on the back of Cold Start; as Indian forces are hammering key Pakistani army installations, half a dozen Indian black ops brigades integrated with Israeli paramilitary specialists will sneak into Azad Kashmir, the Pakistani side of the Vale, and begin the terror en masse, ethnically cleansing all persons in sight. The brigades would then split up, with three moving north towards Kupwara, Baramullah and the Kashmiri capital of Srinagar, and three moving south towards Kishtwar, Doda and Jammu.

The terror will continue until Kurukshetra is complete, which won’t be until every indigenous Muslim is removed from Kashmir. Whatever Resistance that assuredly will come into existence with the execution of such barbarous tactics is not only to be crushed and tormented according to the methods of Padmanabhan in the early 1990s, but humiliated and mutilated, to discourage any acts of intolerance to oppression in the future, according to Zionist methods during the Nakba and in occupied Lebanon. It is called the ‘Mughrabi Doctrine,’ and it is not surprising thatEli Katzir is a protégé of ‘Israeli’ Defense Minister and 9/11 false flag architect Ehud Barak,(43) the ruthless murderer of Palestinian heroine and legend, Dalal Mughrabi, who Barak maimed, tortured, sexually abused and murdered on live television nearly 34 years ago.

Strategically, Operation Kurukshetra is not only meant to expand the Hindutvadi empire, but to open the doors for its Zionist-run allies in the West to station huge troop deployments in Kashmir to eventually bring about the ultimate endgame: the destruction of Russia and China for the sake of inaugurating the real ‘New World Order’, the ‘Jewish Utopia,’ in which every facet of everyday life on this planet is subject to scrutiny by the Zionists and their Talmudic overlords. Resource-rich Kashmir provides easy access into key ‘hotbed points’ in China, making it the perfect launching point for any future conflict. While he didn’t mention Operation Kurukshetra by name, Indian National Congress President and Hindutvadi extremist Sanjeva Reddy certainly and most blatantly alluded to it in a recent statement meant to intimidate Pakistan, “India will liberate that part of Kashmir not under Indian rule.”(44) Once again applying the rules of Newspeak, “liberation” in this case, translates to Hindutvadi ethnic cleansing. It is also vital to note that the groundwork for Operation Kurukshetra was laid out long before the Cold Start Doctrine was even born, making its exposure in this paper all the more crucial.

The Kashmiri Pandits
were driven from their
homes into atrocious
refugee camps by the
Hindutvadi occupation.

It began with the expulsion of the Kashmiri Pandits, indigenous Hindus of the Vale, at the onset of the 1989 intifada. The Hindutvadi regime blames the “Islamic insurgency” for driving the indigenous from their ancestral homelands but this is mere psychological warfare to fit the Zionist-created ‘War on Terror’ narrative that Islam is intolerant of all other religions and even hostile towards them; this is not the case by any stretch of the imagination as Muslims and Hindus fought together against British colonialism in both India and Kashmir and Islamic scholars even recognized Hindus as “people of the book”, granting them protection under Islamic law.(30) What the evidence actually suggests is that the Hindutvadi regime itself, through occupation administrator Governor Jahmohan, encouraged and engineered the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits. Kashmiri eyewitnesses testify that they saw transports of the Indian government forcibly taking Kashmiri Pandits from their homes.(45)

It was Padmanabhan however, who was the real force behind this policy of dispossessing the Pandits. It is well-known amongst the Kashmiri Resistance and Pakistani intelligentsia that the ‘good general’ had an obsession with Zionist literature and a particular favorite of his was ‘Israeli’ foreign policy advisor Oded Yinon’s “A Strategy for Israel in the 1980s.” Padmanabhan saw this plan as something that absolutely could be integrated into Indian foreign policy and the perfect place to start with in his opinion was Kashmir, where communal war between Muslims and Hindus could be triggered. Padmanabhan, with help from Mossad assets in Jammu and Kashmir, orchestrated dozens of false flag attacks against the Pandits of Kashmir, including bombings and home-burnings, to incite hatred and distrust of the Muslim majority. Once clearing out the Pandits from the Vale, Padmanabhan then hoped to “cleanse the unrighteous” from the “holy lands of Hindutva” before resettling the Pandits in Kashmir in colonies. But the Kashmiri Resistance, led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani, and the Pandits themselves who still somehow maintain peace of mind after 23 years of terror and exile that they’ve endured at the hands of the Hindutvadi regime, have rejected this premise entirely,(46) foiling ‘India’s Yinon Plan.’

Hindutva, like Zionism,
seeks to control the world.
Kashmir, like Palestine,
is only the first step. Hence,
why Hindutvadis and Zionists
‘work together’ so well.

This plan was modified in the summer of 2008 when Hindutva concocted a plot to settle Indian Hindus from India in occupied Kashmir under the pretext of ‘protecting religious sites’, no different than what the Zionist entity does on a daily basis in occupied al-Quds and the West Bank. The plot was scrapped when massive protests broke out, which the Hindutvadi regime typically replied to with live ammunition, tear gas and barbarity.(47) The latest and most dangerous phase of bringing Operation Kurukshetra to fruition is the “Dogra certificate” affair. In the first week of April of 2011, Indian Revenue Minister Raman Bhalla proposed an identification method known as the “Dogra certificate” for the Hindu residents of Jammu Province in occupied Kashmir to make it easier for them to join the Indian occupation army. Interestingly enough, Indian army officials categorically denied this. What is most telling is that Bhalla, in a classic invocation of the Yinon plan, suggested that India introduce Kashmiri, Rajput and Ladakhi certificates to the Valley as well, completing dividing the nation-state on ethno-sectarian lines.(48) Due to pressure from the Kashmiri people and the Resistance, the Dogra certificate plot was shelved just a few weeks later.(49)

But the damage was already done. Indeed, a subplot of introducing the Dogra certificates was to divide the Vale, making it easier to conquer, if the people were to go along with it, but the real intention was to simply identify those districts, towns and cities that wouldn’t be touched when the hellfire of Cold Start rains on Pakistan and Operation Kurukshetra follows in Kashmir. Cold Start and Operation Kurukshetra are not fantasies festering in the minds of a paranoid Pakistani army and aggravated Kashmiri people as the Zionist media would like the world to believe. They are imminent realities of a complex geopolitical ‘great game’ that looks to remap the entire Southeast Asia Subcontinent in favor of Hindutvadi primacy. The only hope for the region is sustained righteous Resistance and as the Kashmiris have demonstrated over the last century and a half of oppression, colonialism and occupation, their will to fight for liberation is a force that cannot be deterred.

Pakistani President
Asif Ali Zardari is
a puppet of the highest
order; he is the proverbial
‘ragdoll’ of the
Israeli-Indo-American nexus.

Conclusion: The Resumption Of Drone Strikes, The Zardari Memo Scandal and Cold Start’s Abortive Birth

The plot to paralyse, balkanise and denuclearise Pakistan is a multilayered plan that involves a number of foreign actors employing converging strategies. Israeli interests seek to denuclearise and balkanise Pakistan in line with long-standing Zionist policy to divide all Muslim and Arab states. Converging on this strategy is the Hindutvadi plan to aggressively invade Pakistan under the Cold Start doctrine, and ethnically cleanse Kashmir of its Muslim population through a campaign of terror, murder and intimidation. This mirrors Israel’s murderous past and in fact these Hindutvadi strategies have been developed with the close cooperation of Israeli military and intelligence advisors. The American ‘AfPak’ war effort is equally central to this Israeli-Indo-American ‘endgame’ plot. It is intended that American forces will pressure and distract the Pakistani military from the west (Afghanistan) and south (landing at Gwadar), allowing Indian forces to more easily launch their surprise attack from the east. The final piece to the puzzle is the fourth generation warfare being levied at Pakistan in order to ‘soften it up’. This includes the deployment of weaponised CIA drones and CIA-RAW-Mossad assets such as the TTP. Both of these elements are designed to cause instability and foment division and insurrection, as they have been doing since 2004.

Since NATO’s heinous attack of November 26, the activities of the CIA-RAW-Mossad proxy Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan have accelerated and a spate of terror attacks have occurred. The last few days alone have seen multiple signature TTP attacks in northwest Pakistan – the TTP’s stomping ground. A deadly attack on a police station resulted in 9 being killed,(50) and in a separate attack 7 Pakistani soldiers were killed in an ambush.(51) If we look to other recent events within and without Pakistan, we can see clear indications of startling attempts to kick-start the endgame plan into action, and eviscerate Pakistan from all sides.

The CIA’s genocidal
drones have returned
to terrorize Pakistan after
a near 2-month hiatus.

On Tuesday 10th January, CIA drone strikes (the aerial phase of the 4GW operation) resumed after a two month hiatus.(52) Prior to this event the last CIA drone strike in Pakistan was carried out on the 17th November. NATO’s subsequent attack on the Salala border posts ushered in a moratorium on drone strikes as Zardari struggled with the CIA to save his Quisling office. The CIA’s resumption of drone strikes on January 10th was characteristically bloody, with at least 4 Pakistanis so far reported killed. Over 2,600 Pakistanis have been murdered in these drone strikes thus far.

On January 13, 2012, corrupt Pakistani President Asif Zardari returned to Islamabad after his second visit to Dubai in quick succession. Previously on Tuesday 6 December, 2011, Zardari had flown to Dubai ostensibly for hospital treatment after suffering a ‘heart attack’.(53) His second and most recent visit was, we are told, aprivate visit for a wedding.(54) Though Zardari’s office attempts to fool the Pakistani nation into believing nonsensical fantasies about his health and social life, the real reason for these visits to Dubai indicates a much darker and treacherous reality.

In the wake of the staged bin Laden raid of May 2nd 2011, Pakistani Ambassador to the U.S. Husain Haqqani (who subsequently resigned on November 22, 2011) drafted a treasonous memo at the request of President Asif Zardari. In the memo delivered to Admiral Mike Mullen, Zardari requested that the CIA help to eliminate the leadership of the Pakistani military establishment. In return for this act of grave treachery, Zardari assured the U.S. that pliant Pakistani military leaders would be installed, and the U.S. would gain full control of the leadership, and of Pakistan’s nuclear weapons. Interestingly within the memo, Zardari also agreed to hand over to India the alleged perpetrators of the 26/11 Mossad-RAW false flag, and to close down a central branch of the ISI.(55)

Former Pakistani
Ambassador to the
US Husain Haqqani:
Zionist traitor.

In an explosive revelation(56) by Pakistani analyst Syed Zaid Hamid, we learn that Husain Haqqani had actually worked with Washington in order to draw up a list of over 350 targets within Pakistan. These targets consisted of the entirety of the Pakistani military command and control infrastructure structure – targets that would have to be destroyed as part of a three-pronged AfPak/Cold Start/4GW endgame strategy for Pakistan.

In effect, Zardari & Haqqani, in cahoots with the CIA, are actually trying to surrender Pakistan’s sovereignty as they push for one of Cold Start’s central objectives to be realised: the decapitation of the Pakistani military leadership and decimation of the military command and control structure. Working feverishly for the dissolution of Pakistan, Zardari & Haqqani are essentially acting as agents of foreign interests and as such should be arrested and tried immediately.

For the time being, the Pakistani army, air force, and people, have managed to fend off these covert foreign plots. As a further blow to Israeli-Indo-American interests, the CIA has been forced to vacate Shamsi airbase in southern Pakistan – a strategically important base that the CIA had used for drone strikes within Pakistan as well as surveillance on Iran and Pakistan’s nuclear facilities. Shamsi was also used as a base from which to support and surveil CIA-RAW-Mossad aligned separatist groups in southern Pakistan.

In the face of the
powerful Zionist-led enemy,
 Pakistan remains a robust
force of Resistance.

The loss of the Shamsi airbase is a rebuff to the United States without precedent, and is a significant blow to Israeli-Indo-American designs. There are dark actors now attempting to crush Pakistan from all sides with renewed vigour; Pakistan must maintain this momentum and remain ever vigilant in order to counter this threat. Despite the perfidiousness of British colonialism that disconnected Pakistan from most of the Vale and with respect to the definitive call of the Kashmiri people for self-determination, Pakistan and Kashmir are intimately linked as one bulwark of Resistance against these dark actors and their strategy for regional dominance. If anything good is to come out of NATO’s crude massacre in the Salala mountains which martyred 24 unsuspecting Pakistan soldiers, taking them away from their families, it will be that this Resistance is stronger and more unified than ever. And this, is very, very bad news for the Israeli-Indo-American nexus and whatever plot for hegemony that it may concoct next.

Tale of Musharraf’s Coup in 1999

Tale of Musharraf’s Coup in 1999

March 24th, 2013 |

Parvez Musharraf, ex-Dictator, landed in Karachi today, amid much fanfare(and while wearing a suicide jacket). He was ousted democratically on 18th August, 2008 and left the country. Pakistan has successfully completed transition from an elected government to a caretaker setup without direct intervention of the Military for the first time in its history. This does not mean we forget the history of military interventions and the disastrous consequences. To commemorate the arrival of Musharraf, we are posting account of his coup in 1999, in the spirit of the great Urdu Poet, Momin.

(Hamain Sab hai yaad zara zaraa, tumhen yaad ho kay na yaad ho)

This is an excerpt from Owen Bennet-Jones’ excellent book “Pakistan: Eye of the Storm”

On the morning of 12 October 1999, Nawaz Sharif finally made up his mind. His army chief would have to go. Like many Pakistani leaders before him, Sharif had surrounded himself with a tightly woven cocoon of sycophants. Family relatives and business cronies filled the key posts of his administration. The chief of army staff, General Pervez Musharraf, did not fit in.
Sharif had appointed Musharraf in October 1998 and quickly came to regret the decision. He regarded his army chief with distaste. The origin of the antagonism, which was mutual, lay in the snow-clad, Himalayan peaks of Kashmir. In the spring of 1999 Musharraf gave the final order for Pakistani troops to cross the line of control that separates the Indian and Pakistani armies in Kashmir. The soldiers, posing as divinely-inspired Islamic militants, clambered up the snowy passes that led to one of Kashmir’s most strategic locations: the dusty, run-down town of Kargil. Having caught the Indians off guard, the Pakistani troops made significant territorial gains. Tactically, the operation was a success. Politically, it was a disaster. As India cried foul, Sharif found himself in the midst of a major international crisis. And while General Musharraf had sent the troops in, Prime Minister Sharif was left with the unenviable task of getting them out. For three decades the Pakistani people had absorbed a steady flow of vitriolic propaganda about the Kashmir issue: Sharif ’s decision to withdraw seemed incomprehensible and humiliating. As the man who had defied world opinion and tested Pakistan’s nuclear bomb, Sharif had been acclaimed as a national hero.

As the man who pulled out from Kargil, he was denounced as a supine coward. Sharif ’s sense of resentment was acute. General Musharraf, he complained, had marched his men to the top of the hill without considering how he would get them down again.

The generals, though, were also unhappy. By deciding to pull out of Kargil without negotiating any Indian concessions in return, they argued, Sharif had squandered a militarily advantageous position and caused a crisis of confidence within the Pakistan army. After the Kargil withdrawal Musharraf faced a surge of discontent within the army. As he toured a series of garrisons he repeatedly faced the same question: ‘If Kargil was a victory then why did we pull back?’ Musharraf told his men that it was the prime minister’s fault and that the army had had no choice but to obey his order. It was a disingenuous response. Musharraf had been fully consulted on the withdrawal order and had raised no serious objection to it.

Sharif was never in any doubt that removing Musharraf would be a high-risk exercise. In 1993 Sharif ’s first government had been forced out of office in part because the military high command lost confidence in him. He was determined to avoid a repeat performance. Indeed, from the moment he took over as prime minister again in 1997, Sharif had devoted himself to making his political position impregnable.

On 8 and 9 September 1999 Sharif and Musharraf travelled together to the Northern Areas. They were to preside over a ceremony to reward the Northern Light Infantry (NLI) for its role in the Kargil campaign. Previously a paramilitary force answerable to the Ministry of Interior, the NLI was to be inducted into the regular army. The trip got off to a bad start when Sharif noticed the absence of the commander of the 10th corps, Lt. General Mehmood Ahmed. In the previous few weeks Sharif and Musharraf had undertaken two other trips to the Northern Areas and on both occasions Mehmood had been present. On this third occasion his absence was especially striking as the Northern Light Infantry was to be transferred to his command. Sharif knew that Mehmood would be a key figure in any coup against his government. Clearly, he should have attended the induction ceremony. As far as Sharif was concerned, there was only one explanation for Mehmood not being present: Musharraf was afraid he might be arrested by Sharif and wanted Mehmood away from the scene so that he could organise a response if the need arose.

On the evening of 8 September Sharif revealed his anxiety. General Musharraf was in the lobby of the Hotel Shangri-La outside Skardu showing off a new Italian laser-guided pistol to the information minister, Mushahid Hussain. As Musharraf was explaining how the pistol could never miss its target, the prime minister walked into the lobby. Aware of his fondness for high tech gadgets, Mushahid Hussain called Sharif over. ‘Have you seen this new pistol?’ he asked Sharif. ‘It’s remarkable.’ Uncharacteristically, Sharif did not ask how the pistol worked, but he did put one question to the army chief. ‘General’, he asked, ‘who are you aiming it at?’

As he considered the possibility of mounting a coup, Musharraf realised he would not be able to move without the support of all his corps commanders. He called them together in mid-September and raised the question of Sharif ’s competence. Although there was wide agreement that Sharif was not performing well, the generals decided that the army could not move without clear justification. But if Sharif tried to sack Musharraf, the corps commanders agreed, then they would act: to lose two army chiefs in the space of a year would be unacceptable. With this qualified backing Musharraf went back to Sharif and said he wanted to be given the full chairmanship of the joint chiefs of staff (at the time he was only acting chairman) and, to demonstrate his seriousness, he put the 111 Brigade on standby. It was an unmistakeable signal. 111 Brigade had been used for carrying out every previous coup in Pakistan. Three hundred troops, with a squadron of tanks, were posted at the army’s GHQ in Rawalpindi, just 10 miles from Islamabad. The troops were outside the normal chain of command and answerable only to General Musharraf himself.

Sharif ’s fears were confirmed by one of his few allies in the army leadership, the corps commander from the Baloch capital Quetta, General Tariq Pervez. The two men knew each other well: the general’s cousin, Raja Nadir Pervez, was Sharif ’s communications minister. A few days after the corps commander’s meeting, General Tariq Pervez warned Sharif that if he moved against Musharraf, the army would strike. Thoroughly unnerved, Sharif sought the help of his most trusted political ally, Senator Saif ur Rehman. The energetic senator had organised the triumphant corruption investigation into Benazir Bhutto and had blackmailed and bullied countless other government opponents. He now concentrated his efforts on Musharraf, putting a tap on his phones and monitoring his movements.

Sharif was furious that his few allies in the military were being sacked and demoted. It was now just a question of timing. The prime minister knew that Musharraf was due to be out of Pakistan in October to attend the fiftieth anniversary celebrations of Sri Lanka’s army. The army chief was due to return on 12 October; since he would be airborne for four hours, Sharif calculated, the army would be caught off-balance and left unsure how to react to his sacking. By the time Musharraf touched down, his removal would be a fait accompli and a new army chief would have taken his place. Sharif was relying on the element of surprise and felt constrained by his fear that he was being bugged. On 10 October he arranged a flight to Abu Dhabi ostensibly for a meeting with Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Nahyan. He took a very limited group consisting of his son Hussain Nawaz, his speechwriter Nazir Naji and the man he wanted to succeed Musharraf, the ISI chief General Ziauddin. Confident that any conversation on the plane could not be overheard, Sharif spent the entire flight talking to Ziauddin: the final plot was being hatched.

On the fateful day, Sharif knew he had to give the appearance of conducting business as usual. At 10.00 a.m. on 12 October he left Islamabad to make a routine political speech in the town of Shujaabad, near Multan. Before leaving, Sharif gave instructions that he wanted his defence secretary, Lt. General (Retd.) Iftikhar Ali Khan, to meet him on his return. He also scheduled an appointment with President Rafiq Tarar for that afternoon, giving instructions that the meeting should not be reflected in his official programme for the day. The prime minister again took a small group with him: Hussain Nawaz, Nazir Naji and the chairman of Pakistan Television (PTV), Pervez Rashid. When the plane landed in Multan, Sharif told Nazir Naji that he should remain on board for a discussion with his son and Pervez Rashid. All the crew, Sharif said, had been told to leave the plane and they could talk in confidence. Once the aircraft door was closed the three men sat down and Pervez Rashid asked Nazir Naji for his mobile phone. Sharif, he explained, could not afford any of the information he was about to divulge to be leaked. Naji was then shown a speech written in Hussain Sharif ’s handwriting that his father planned to give on television that evening. Although the punch line – the dismissal of Musharraf – was not included in the draft, it was clear that the speech would announce that decision. Naji then worked on the draft, translating it into Urdu.
Two hours later the prime minister’s plane was heading back towards Islamabad and when he touched down at the military airbase at Chaklala his defence secretary, as arranged, was there to meet him. As the two men were driven to the prime minister’s residence, Sharif declared his hand. The sacking of Lt. General Tariq Pervez, he said, ‘has started creating the impression that there is a gap between the government and the army which is not good for the security of Pakistan . . . I have decided to appoint a new army chief.’ The defence secretary was shocked: he could guess the army’s likely reaction. He suggested that the prime minister might want to discuss the issue with Musharraf but Sharif was adamant. ‘The time for this discussion’, he said, ‘is over.’
As the prime minister’s car drew up outside his official residence in Islamabad his principal secretary Saeed Mehdi was, as ever, on hand to greet him. Mehdi was already aware of the prime minister’s plans and Sharif now told him to prepare the official papers for the handover of military power. As he walked into his office, the prime minister confirmed that the new army chief was to be none other than the man he had wanted to appoint twelve months before, Lt. General Ziauddin.

As Sharif ’s officials got to work, General Musharraf had already completed his official programme in Sri Lanka and was preparing to board flight PK 805 which would take him back to Karachi, along with 197 other passengers and crew, including the pilot, Captain Sarwat Hussain. Because the army chief was on board there were extra security checks and the plane took off forty minutes late at 4.00 p.m. At the very moment Musharraf ’s plane was climbing into the sky, the man who confidently expected to replace him was reaching the prime minister’s residence. By the time Sharif went to see him at 4.20 p.m., Saeed Mehdi had completed drafting the official notification. It stated that:
“It has been decided to retire General Pervez Musharraf, Acting Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Chief of the Army Staff with immediate effect. Lt. Gen. Ziauddin has been appointed as the Chief of Army Staff with immediate effect and promoted to the rank of General. Before orders to this effect are issued, President may kindly see”.

By 4.30 p.m. Sharif had signed the document. The deed was done.

He told Ziauddin to assume his command and went to the president’s residence to show him the notification. Perhaps aware that the army might not accept the change, and that Sharif ’s days might be numbered, Tarar displayed some of the political cunning that had enabled him to achieve high office. Rather than writing the word ‘approved’ on the notification, he employed the more neutral term ‘seen’ and signed it. With the formalities completed Sharif told Pakistan Television (PTV) to broadcast the news of Musharraf ’s sacking. It did so on the 5.00 p.m. bulletin. PTV was also told to take pictures of Ziauddin receiving his badges of rank.

Ziauddin was now the de jure army chief, but he knew that to become the de facto leader as well he would have to move fast. Rather than waste time by driving back to the ISI headquarters, he stayed in the prime minister’s residence and started making phone calls from there. He thought two men, the chief of general staff Lt. General Aziz Khan and the commander of the 10th corps Lt. General Mehmood Ahmed, were likely to offer him the stiffest resistance. Both were Musharraf loyalists who, within army circles, had been outspoken in their criticism of Sharif. Ziauddin decided to remove both of them. He called an old engineering corps friend, the quarter-master general Lt. General Akram, and offered him the job of chief of the general staff. Excited by his promotion, Akram said he would come straight round to the prime minister’s house. Ziauddin then called the man who had recently been removed by Musharraf, General Saleem Hyder. Hyder was playing golf and was not immediately available. Eventually the two men spoke and Hyder was offered General Mehmood’s job: 10th corps commander.

Having sorted out the two key posts, Ziauddin called round other corps commanders. Most were non-committal. They were in an awkward position: they did not want to repudiate the new army chief but were also aware that Musharraf loyalists might resist him.

While Ziauddin was trying to shore up his new position, the two men best placed to stop him, Lt. Generals Aziz and Mehmood, were playing not golf but tennis. They realised that there was a problem when both their mobile phones started ringing on the side of the court. The man who called them was the Peshawar-based Lt. General Syed uz Zafar. As the longest-standing corps commander, he was serving as the acting chief of army staff in Musharraf ’s absence. Consequently, Ziauddin had called him to tell him about his own elevation and Musharraf ’s sacking. But rather than simply accept Ziauddin’s statement as a fait accompli General Syed uz Zafar called Aziz and Mehmood in Rawalpindi. The second they were told what was happening Aziz and Mehmood held a brief conversation and decided to act. As one eyewitness put it, ‘I have never seen two senior officers move so fast.’ They sped to GHQ and, as they changed out of their sports kit, considered their options. One thing, they decided, was beyond doubt: they could not permit a change of army chief while Musharraf was out of the country. The first priority, then, was to get the news off PTV. The two generals dispatched Major Nisar of the Punjab Regiment, together with fifteen armed men, to the PTV building in Islamabad. He was ordered to block any further announcement about Musharraf ’s sacking. As the major set off, Aziz called a meeting of all available corps commanders and other senior officers at army headquarters in Rawalpindi. Some already knew what was up: they had received the telephone calls from Ziauddin. And with Mehmood and Aziz determined to resist Ziauddin’s appointment, the corps commanders decided to implement the decision they had taken in principle in September: Sharif had to go. Within minutes, the infamous 111 Brigade was ordered to do its job.

Unaware of the growing crisis, PTV continued to put out the news of Ziauddin’s appointment. The station’s managers first became aware of a problem when Major Nisar and his men rushed past the guards on the gate and stormed into the control room. The major ordered the PTV staff to block the news of Musharraf ’s dismissal. ‘Take it off ! Take it off !’ he yelled. Faced with fifteen armed men and a screaming major, the staff complied. At 6.00 p.m. Nawaz Sharif was sitting in the TV lounge of his official residence waiting for the news bulletin. But when it came on, he was dismayed that there was no mention of Musharraf ’s sacking. He told his military secretary, Brigadier Javed Iqbal, to go straight to the TV headquarters and find out what was going on. Sharif was now convinced that he had to prevent General Musharraf ’s plane from landing. Ziauddin agreed. He advised Sharif that if Musharraf were kept out of the country the army would have to accept his removal.
The prime minister picked up the phone and made a desperate attempt to save his administration. First he spoke to Aminullah Choudhry, the Karachi-based director general of the Civil Aviation Authority. A classic civil servant, Choudhry could be relied upon to execute the prime minister’s orders without hesitation. Sharif told Choudhry that flight PK 805 should not be allowed to land in Pakistan. Choudhry immediately called the air traffic control tower at Karachi: ‘Which international flights do you have coming in at this time? Is there any coming in from Colombo?’ he asked.  Having learnt that PK 805 was due to land within an hour, he ordered the closure of Karachi airport. Minutes later, the runway lights were switched off and three fire engines were parked on the landing strip – one at each end and a third in the middle. Choudhry also ordered the closure of PK 805’s alternate destination, a small rural airport in Nawabshah, 200 miles east of Karachi.

Back in Islamabad, Sharif ’s military secretary, Brigadier Javed Iqbal, an excitable man at the best of times, was manically preparing for his mission to the TV station. As he left the prime minister’s residence, he noticed a group of men from the Punjabi Elite Police at the gate. They were Shahbaz Sharif ’s personal bodyguards. He took the men with him and made the short journey to PTV headquarters. He arrived at 6.15 p.m. and went straight to the control room where he found Major Nisar with his fifteen men. ‘Disarm yourself immediately!’ the brigadier yelled.12 Major Nisar refused. The brigadier then drew a pistol and pointed it at Nisar’s chest. The Punjabi Elite Police and the Punjabi Regiment were moments away from a shoot-out. Nisar blinked first. He handed his gun to the brigadier and told his men to lay down their weapons. Within minutes the major and his men were locked in a room with an armed guard at the door. The jubilant military secretary ordered the Elite Police to shoot anyone who offered resistance and headed back to report his success to the prime minster. (Later, Brigadier Iqbal was to rue his actions. On 13 October he was arrested and charged with drawing a pistol on a fellow officer.)

With the TV station back under civilian control, the news about Musharraf ’s retirement was rebroadcast at the end of the 6.00 p.m. bulletin. Encouraged by this turn of events, Sharif renewed his efforts to keep Musharraf out of the country. He called a long-time political ally, the chairman of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Shahid Abbasi, and repeated his order that PK 805 should not land in Pakistan but be sent to Muscat or anywhere else in the Middle East. He did not give a reason but, having just seen the news bulletin, Abbasi wasn’t in much doubt about the prime minister’s motivation.

Both Choudhry and Abbasi, though, soon realised that a disaster was in the making. Officials at PIA’s operations department told Abbasi that the plane was 50 miles away from Karachi and lacked sufficient fuel to reach the Middle East. Choudhry’s staff at the Civil Aviation Authority had already reached the same conclusion. The plane would have to land in Pakistan. Aminullah Choudhry called the prime minster and told him. But, Choudhry subsequently claimed, Sharif was adamant: the plane must not land in Pakistan. Back at PTV headquarters, Major Nisar and his men were still being held under armed guard. When army officers at GHQ saw the news of Musharraf ’s sacking being replayed at the end of the 6.00 p.m. news bulletin, they realised something had gone wrong. A second army unit was despatched to PTV. At 6.45 p.m. another major, this time with five armed soldiers, asked the guards at the gate if they could enter the building. With the Punjabi Elite Police breathing down their necks, the guards refused to let the major through. Half an hour later, the major returned with a truckload of troops. Again he was refused entry, but this  time he would not be denied. With a flick of his wrist the major ordered his men to clamber over the PTV gate. Journalists who had gathered at PTV filmed the pictures that within hours were leading news bulletins all over the world. The Elite Police, realising they were outnumbered and outgunned, offered no resistance; some even put their weapons on the ground and sat on them. By 7.15 p.m. PTV was off-air. By then the coup was well underway. The first soldiers to reach the prime minister’s residence had arrived at around 6.30 p.m. Having secured the gatehouse, a major took fifteen men over the extensive lawns an and headed for the building’s main entrance. As the porch came into view, the major saw General Ziauddin on the steps with six plain clothes ISI officers. The major ordered the ISI men to lay down their weapons. They refused and General Ziauddin tried to persuade the major to back down. The major started trembling. He was, after all, disobeying an order from the duly appointed army chief. Beads of sweat poured down his forehead. ‘Sir’, he threatened Ziauddin, ‘it would take me just one second.’ Ziauddin, recognising that resistance was futile, told his men to lay down their weapons.

Once inside the prime minster’s residence, the soldiers soon found all the key figures of Sharif ’s administration. The prime minister, realising that he was about to be ousted, had gone to his private quarters to shred some documents. That done, he gathered with his brother Shahbaz and his son Hussain Nawaz to await their fate. General Ziauddin, his new chief of staff Lt. General Akram and other Sharif allies were also there. Having heard about Musharraf ’s sacking, Sharif ’s trusted ally Saif ur Rehman had gone to the residence. So had his brother, Mujib ur Rehman, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, who had turned up with his young son to congratulate Sharif on getting rid of Musharraf. With the residence secured, Lt. General Mehmood himself arrived and confronted Nawaz. ‘I was praying and hoping’, the general said, ‘that it wouldn’t come to this.’

How much more blood must be shed in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan before it is understood that the country is being torn to shreds from the inside out in a foreign-sponsored 4th Generation Warfare (4GW) campaign? How many more men, women and children must have their lives snuffed out before a little, not a goliath amount, but a little bit of attention is given to this horrific and blood-soaked crisis that deepens every day? The geopolitical implications will surely be drastically and negatively groundbreaking if Pakistan plunges into the unadulterated chaos that its enemies, “Israel,” Hindutvadi India and the Zionist-occupied United States government, so passionately and stridently desire. Pakistan, the “child of Jinnah, child of ‘Allama Iqbal”, indeed stands on the brink.

Hideous sectarian killings across the country since the start of April have revealed the deepening of a plot engineered by the forces of Zionism and Hindutva, its ugly first cousin. Whilst the Zionist media coverage has typically and predictably attempted to depict the bloodshed as “Sunni-Shi’a” strife, it is quite revealing that its coverage has been scarce, with the weight of reportage being carried by Pakistani and Iranian outlets. Additionally, the evidence will show that this sectarianism, drenched in innocent blood, is a product of the Zionist-Hindutvadi nexus, with the sect of oppressed being butchered by the sect of the supremacist oppressor.

It began on April 9th, 2012 in Pakistan’s turbulent Balochistan province, in which masked gunmen on motorbikes carried out a monstrous shooting spree, leaving 14 dead, including 2 women, and dozens of others wounded. The worst of the attacks was in the Hazara region at the busy Prince Road of Balochistan’s largest city and provincial capital, Quetta, where four 4 Shi’a Muslims were shot dead (1), and then, according to later reports in the Urdu and Farsi presses, brutally mutilated, thus betraying the entire bout of killing as a specific targeted operation. As the casualties count rose to 6 dead and 3 critically wounded the following day, this notion was further confirmed when Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani fired six police officers for complicity in the Quetta bloodshed (2), revealing that the gunmen had “men on the inside” to protect their operation from scrutiny.

The Pakistani province
of Balochistan is a hotbed
of Zionist-Hindutvadi intrigue.

In response to the martyrdom of 6 members from their community, leaders of the Hazara Democratic Party, which represents the interests of the downtrodden Shi’a of Balochistan, adamantly and eloquently blasted the cowards that perpetrated the crimes. They then called for a 10 day strike, from April 20th to April 30th, demanding justice for their fallen. Hundreds across Balochistan honored the call by protesting and shutting down shops, markets and educational institutions (3). Following the call of the Hazara Shi’a, more than 2,500 Pakistanis, Sunni and Shi’a alike, in a beautiful and righteously ferocious display of solidarity, hit the streets of Islamabad right outside the Pakistani Parliament building and chanted for the government to take action against the persons responsible for the violence. Similar demonstrations were held in Quetta, Muzaffarabad and Multan, where protesters supplicated for the Quetta victims as well as the more than2,000 Shi’a murdered in the Kurram region of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) since 2007 (4).

The ostensible drift from blood-spilling to reconciliation and justice came to a screeching halt on April 14th, 2012 as Balochistan was rocked by tragedy yet again. In the same fashion as the previous killings, masked gunmen laid siege to the Barori Road, Sabzol Road and Qali Chaltan Road areas of Quetta, firing shots at dozens of Shi’a Muslims, wounding at least six and murdering at least 10 (5). This death toll would rise to more than 30, including women and children, and on April 16th, another Shi’a was gunned down by masked men in Quetta, prompting Chief Minister Raisani to thunderously call for assistance from the Pakistani Army and declare that if something wasn’t done to stop the atrocities soon, Balochistan would descend into civil war (6). The obvious purpose of the cowardly masked men’s assault was to foment division but this has failed as Sunni-Shi’a unity protests raged forward, with women and children participating, and not just in Pakistan, but all over the globe, including America, the UK and Canada (7).

On April 18th, 2012, Imran Zaidi, the vice principal of Jinnah Polytechnic College and a Shi’a Muslim himself, was shot dead by masked men on motorbike in the important Pakistani port city of Karachi (8), once again betraying the signature of an intelligence agency’s “targeted” operation. The massacring of Shi’a continued three days later, with another attack in Quetta by masked gunmen on motorbike, shooting two more innocents dead (9). Immediately following the latest round of killing in Quetta, protests across Pakistan erupted yet again with Shi’a marching through the streets of Lahore and joint Sunni-Shi’a rallies being staged in Abbottabad, Quetta, Rawalpindi and other cities (10). A sigh of relief swept through the nation when Pakistani security forces stormed the outskirts of Quetta in a search and seizure operation, uncovering the safehouse where the carnage has been launched from. Three terrorists were detained, all of whom were connected to none other than the Tehrik-I-Taliban of Pakistan {TTP} (11), the infamous and brutal proxy force of Pakistan’s enemies. Two more fighters connected to the Shi’a killings, Ali Sher Haidri, spokesperson of the TTP-allied Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeT), and his well-known terrorist accomplice, Gul Jan aka Hafiz Naseer, were killed in another operation (12).

The Hindu supremacist
regime’s RAW and the
Zionist entity’s Mossad
are tearing Pakistan apart
through their monstrous
creation, the TTP.

Created in 2004 to coincide with the inauguration of the CIA’s genocidal drone program, the TTP is the perfected product of an ongoing, incestuous relationship between the Zionist entity’s Mossad, Hindutvadi India’s RAW and the CIA itself. One month after Mossad’s false flag attack on September 11th, 2001 and just three days after the criminal invasion of Afghanistan, two “Israeli” agents with Mossad and IOF connections were apprehended inside the Mexican Congress building of Mexico City with 9mm handguns, nine grenades, C-4 explosives, three detonators, 58 bullets and fake Pakistani passports. Their mission was to destroy the Mexican Congress. This false flag operation was intended to be phase II of 9/11, triggering a NATO invasion of Pakistan. When the mission failed, the Zionist entity activated its contingency plan: the Dragon Policy, an updated version of the Oded-Yinon-strategy of balkanizing Islamic states on ethno-sectarian lines (13).

Using funds from the unlimited bank accounts of Mossad and Aman, the Zionism-Hindutva intelligence nexus established 57 training camps across the northern frontiers of India and occupied Kashmir, kidnaping and blackmailing Resistance fighters to fight against their own comrades while simultaneously forging alliances with mafia bosses and narcotics tycoons and training them in the finer arts of black ops. These various elements served as the perfect puppets as any rebellion whatsoever would be punished with imprisonment in the harshest of dungeons. These men would be deployed into the field under Mossad-RAW guidance and once an attack was completed, the Zionist media would report it as an ‘act of Islamic terrorism.’ If a ‘checkout’ was not secured, senior operatives of the “Israeli”-Indian nexus would finish the job (13).

The CIA has been a vital
assistant to Mossad and RAW
in implementing the Dragon
Policy in Pakistan.

The CIA and its corporate offshoot, Blackwater (also known as Xe and Academi), a festering bubble of anti-Arab, anti-Muslim hatred and deep pro-“Israel” sentiments, joined the Dragon Policy in 2004. The name was chosen for a very sinister, deceptive and specific reason: to despicably smear the real Taliban in occupied Afghanistan, a Resistance force fighting a ‘7arb el 7uriyeh(war of liberation)’ against NATO invaders. It is classic psychological warfare. The Taliban, not surprisingly, has rightfully maintained its innocence and condemned Blackwater for being behind bombings and other provocations in Pakistan. Since its birth, the Tehrik-I-Taliban has murdered or wounded more than 100,000 Pakistanis and caused more than $50 billion in damage to Pakistan’s economy. Prior to the most recent operation, the Pakistani army had already arrested hundreds of TTP militiamen. Proxy agents detained in Waziristan, Karachi and Balochistan were caught with sophisticated, military-grade weaponry manufactured by the Zionist entity (13).

This string of horrible bloodshed that claimed the lives of dozens of Shi’a Muslim men, women and children, along with several other Sunni Muslims who stood in solidarity with them, is reminiscent of a very similar Mosssad-RAW-backed TTP campaign that targeted prominent Shi’a and Sunni figures back at the start of 2012. Tearing Pakistan apart through the“sectarianism” of the Zionist-Hindutvadi Dragon Policy, leaving it open to denuclearization and balkanization and eventually fomenting the ethnic cleansing of all Muslims from occupied Kashmir is indeed the “endgame” plot (13).

The innocent Pakistani blood spilled throughout April means nothing to the supremacist oppressors or their quislings, and this is why the great Pakistani luminary Syed Zaid Zaman Hamid declared recently in one of his highly-regarded email bulletins that, “Pakistan’s entire political leadership is now compromised to the enemies. These ones want to compromise our honor, faith, history, land and water,” in fact, he continues, “the idiots we have today have already auctioned it.” And if the Pakistani Armed Forces didn’t perform the way that they did in Quetta, ending the catastrophe (at least for now), it is safe to say that the enemies would be further along in their plot.

Occupied Kashmir,
one of the most beautiful
places on the face of this
planet, has been transformed
into a training ground
for anti-Pakistan warfare by
Zionism and Hindutva.

Occupied Kashmir: The “Israeli”-Indian “Training Ground” For Anti-Pakistan Warfare

It is a well-established and internationally-accepted fact that the Zionist entity’s military and arms industries are imposing behemoths and completely unrivaled on the international stage. What is lesser-known, or rather, ruthlessly suppressed by the Zionist media as a means of keeping it far from the global public’s vision, is that“Israel” uses the occupied West Bank (and by extension, occupied al-Quds) as a laboratory for the research and design of its newest weapons. Zionist occupation forces use the hundreds of Palestinian villages in the West Bank as ‘live’ training grounds (14). Though this certainly qualifies as “sick,” as well as “twisted,” as Zionism always does, it gets even more depraved.

On March 27th, 2012, the undercover unit “Israeli” military intelligence known as Duvdevan, which is responsible for the murder of beloved Palestinian-Jewish activist and director Juliano Mer-Khamis (15),as well as a laundry list of extrajudicial executions dating back to the First Intifada, savagely murdered 28-year old Palestinian Rashad Shawakha and badly wounded two of his brothers during a ‘live’ training exercise in the occupied West Bank Village of Rammoun (16). For the very first time, as revealed herein by Mask of Zion’s ever-vigilant and exceptionally reliable Kashmiri sources, it is now known that these slaughterous and utterly insidious “live training” and “weapons testing” methods have been exported to occupied Kashmir, the land known as “heaven on Earth” illegally occupied by Hindutvadi India for 65 years and already infested with Zionist-Hindutvadi training facilities for the Dragon Policy.

Zionism and Hindutva
are intertwined at every
level, thus revealing
a relationship of
supreme geopolitical
closeness.

For the historical record, it is integral to note“Israel” is not only the top defense supplier for India (17), but the usurping Jewish entity and the Hindu supremacist regime are deeply intertwined at every level, from military to intelligence, economics to politics, communications to ideology, and this cooperation not only amounts to a frightening hegemonic agenda, but tens of billions of dollars in profit generation (13). The two occupation entities evencollaborate in ventures to provide cell phone gaming services for their brainwashed populations (18); the Zionism-Hindutva relationship is one of the utmost geopolitical intimacy.

Ironically and ominously, although perhaps not unintentionally, one year ago to the day before the barbaric massacres of Shi’a Muslims began in Balochistan, a terrible tragedy occurred in occupied Kashmir that shocked and saddened the people of the Vale. Maulana Showkat Ahmad Shah, a pseudo-controversial but much-loved cleric who served as the President of Jamiat-e-Ahl-e-Hadith, was murdered in a brutal bombing during Friday prayers at a mosque in the Kashmiri capital of Srinagar. So abominable was the attack that it prompted a harsh condemnation from every major Azadi (Kashmiri word for freedom) organization throughout occupied Kashmir, as well as the government of Pakistan (19).

Survived by his wife, son, daughter and mother, well-known across the Vale for his honesty and dedicated to the cause of Azadi by all accounts, Shah had been arrested and imprisoned under the Hindutvadi occupation’s draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) many times before, and on at least two other occasions, there were attempts on his life. Dating back to 1990, a phenomenon known in occupied Kashmir as the “unidentified killings” has claimed the lives of dozens of doctors, academics, clerics, philanthropists, Resistance fighters and human rights activists, including Muslims, Pandits and secularists. All evidence indicates that RAW’s “Special Operations Group” is behind the murders (20). The most recent target, prominent religious scholar Peer Jalaludin, barely escaped with his life after being critically injured in a shooting. Azadi leaders pegged Hindutva as the culprit behind the barbarous attack, stating that it was trying to divide the Kashmiri struggle through sectarianism (21).

The intelligence agencies
of the usurping Jewish entity
and the Hindutvadi occupation
regime are tormenting the
Kashmiri people.

Mask of Zion contacted several Resistance fighters and Azadi activists to learn more about these disturbing developments and what was uncovered during these inquiries turned out to be nothing short of shocking and enlightening, as well as exceedingly revealing. One 46-year old veteran fighter, who, for security reasons asked to be identified by the alias “Rehman Zahid”, an eloquent man with vast experience in the Azadi struggle as he fought the Hindutvadi occupation head-on during the epic Kashmiri intifada of 1989, explained to Mask of Zion the nature of what he referred to as “SOG,” the RAW Special Operations Group, “The SOG is active all over Asia. It is in Pakistan and Sri Lanka, Nepal and Indonesia, Malaysia and as far north as Japan. It is responsible for assassinations and surveillance and anything else the accursed Hindutvadis ask for, may ALLAH (SWT) curse them to the hellfire. Curse them! But here, here in Kashmir, my beloved that they have been raping since before Palestine was raped by the Zionists, my land of treasures and rushing rivers, the SOG is subordinate to an ‘Israeli’ named Katzir. You know him, yes?”

“Yes, of course,” I stated anxiously. Brother Rehman continued, “The ‘Israeli’ is governing dozens of SOG agents with full approval from the Hindutvadis in Delhi. He’s integrated them into the units made up from the elites of his counter-terrorism team and calls these units the ‘Yehoshua Brigades’, named after Joshua from the Jewish Bible who was a destroyer and murderer of children, a rapist of land and thief of Canaan.” Understandably, brother Rehman paused to take a deep breath. I saw this as an opportunity to interject, “These Yehoshua Brigades aren’t regular military units then, and the operations of the SOG aren’t normal operations, are they?”

General Sundararajan
Padmanabhan, the Hindutvadi
fundamentalist behind the Cold
Start Doctrine, is so hated by
the Kashmiri Resistance that he
is simply referred to as “the
monster.”

The Kashmiri Resistance veteran paused for yet another moment and solemnly said, “No, not at all. He named them ‘Yehoshua’ because these units are those which will carry out Operation Kurukshetra, a creation of Katzir and the monster, {a reference to former Indian Chief of Staff, General Sundararajan Padmanabhan, the Hindutvadi fundamentalist architect of the Cold Start Doctrine known throughout the Vale for his sadistic brutality during the 1989intifada and the immediate years after it (13)} to cleanse us from the land like Joshua and his band of murderous yahoud cleansed Canaan thousands of years ago and cleansed it again in 1948. Every assassination that they’ve done in the last decade was designed to provoke us into attacking them so they can make Kurukshetra a reality. Curse them, ya ALLAH (SWT)! Curse them!”

“Would we be providing a most accurate description,” I asked, “if we designated the Yehoshua Brigades, in all honesty, as an exclusivist Jewish-Hindu death squad motivated by the Zionist-Hindutvadi leadership’s desire to attain ethno-religious and regional supremacy?” Without hesitation, Rehman Zahid, a man who had stared into the eyes of the cruel and torturous Indian soldiers who waged an unrelenting campaign of brutality under General Sundararajan Padmanabhan during the 1989 Kashmiri intifada, stated, “Absolutely. Absolutely accurate. Supremacist is what they are. Exclusivist! Separatist is what they are! They call us separatists but they are the separatists! They want to separate from all other humans, with yahoud being with yahoud and Hindutvadi being with Hindutvadi while we suffer under them. They think of us as dogs. Enemies of Islam! Enemies of humanity! Enemies of the Kashmiri, the Palestinian, the Lebanese! Enemies of Pak Sarzameen and the dunya and even the Akhira! Curse them! May ALLAH (SWT) give us strength to fight them and free ourselves from them!”

Brother Rehman had become thoroughly flustered and quite upset and therefore, out of respect for and empathy with him, I had no interest in prolonging the discussion for any serious length of time; I only had one more question, “Akhi Rehman, this information is indeed critical and it most certainly explains a great deal, but what about the assassination of Maulana Showkat Ahmad Shah? Was the attack on his person a hyper-specific one?” Obligingly, Rehman replied, “Not necessarily, but, Shahid Maulana was their highest-level target yet methinks. Every killing that Yehoshua does is based on its objective of driving us into civil conflict and hurting our struggle. There is another goal for them though. The explosive used to martyr Maulana, a sticky bomb, was a modified, military-grade version of what was used in the July 11th Bombings and the Malegaon Blasts {which were false flag attacks carried out by the Zionist entity’s Mossad and Hindu supremacist elements close to RAW to set the stage for their ‘masterpiece’ false flag on 26/11, an event that ‘changed the game’ in the region (22)}.Yehoshua and Katzir’s regular units and even the Hindutvadi occupiers themselves are always testing new weapons for ‘Israel,’ may ALLAH (SWT) curse them to the hellfire. We’re like their playthings.”

The Jewish-Hindu
death squad known
as the Yehoshua Brigades
is spilling rivers of Kashmiri
blood, all for the sake
of eventually taking
down Pakistan.

He continued, “We are armed with minimal weaponry here, anyone can see this, even the blind ones. What do they need heavy automatics, laser snipers, drones, pistols with silencers and upgraded military explosives for? Are they that afraid of our youths who pelt stones? Do our stonepelters make the Hindutvadi and the Zionist shake? Maybe we do, by ALLAH (SWT) maybe we do, but this isn’t the reason. They’re testing their weapons here because these are the weapons that they use on Pakistan to make chaos there. Kurukshetra is the final part of the Hindutvadi Cold Start Doctrine. BeforeYehoshua Brigades are released to make the Kashmiri Nakba, India and the NATO will have turned Pakistan into Iraq or Libya with Cold Start, may ALLAH (SWT) damn them for what they did to those countries and the orphans. Yehoshua Brigades try and kill Peer Jalaludin, may ALLAH (SWT) protect him, right outside of his home with new never-before-seen heavy automatics and not even a week after this, not even a week by ALLAH (SWT)! These weapons are in the hands of TTP terrorists who spill blood in Pakistan. This is the pattern. Like I said, we are their playthings. Pak Sarzameen is the grand prize in all of this. We are the small fish.”

I thanked brother Rehman for his time and Muhammad Isma’il Bhat, the friend of mine who put me in contact with the Kashmiri veteran, told me in the clearest language possible that everything he said was on the money. I relayed this information to human rights activists “Zubair Zubair” in Srinagar and “Abu Ghulam” in Kupwara, who had contributed to a previous earth-shattering Mask of Zion report on Pakistan and occupied Kashmir, and both of them reaffirmed it unequivocally. It was official. Occupied Kashmir, “heaven on earth,” was being used by the Zionist entity and Hindutvadi India as a “live testing ground” for Dragon Policy directives that will later be carried out in Pakistan, with every killing aimed at disuniting the anti-occupation movement and delivering it into the jaws of destruction. The Kashmiri people were at the mercy of a Jewish-Hindu death squad known as the YehoshuaBrigades, with every moment of their day passing by as if it were their last.

Once again, this shows that the fates of the Pakistani and Kashmiri people are interlocked and Azadi for one from the machinations of Zionism and Hindutva means Azadi for the other. And with Kashmiris preparing to launch another intifada, like they always do, seemingly every two years (23), there is no doubt that this theme will permeate protests and marches. There is no doubt that they will demonstrate for dignity and with vigor. There is no doubt that the oppressed people of the Vale will not relent until their Zionist and Hindutvadi tormentors are brought to justice and it is known that Kashmiris are the “playthings” of nobody.

According to the disturbed
minds of Zionists and
Hindutvadis, Pakistan must
be destroyed for Greater
“Israel” and Hindutva
to flourish.

Conclusion: A Modern Day Agartala Conspiracy – The Separation of Balochistan and Operation Blue Tulsi Exposed

Aforementioned Pakistani luminary Syed Zaid Zaman Hamid has repeatedly likened what the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is fighting today to the “Agartala Conspiracy” of 1971, in which RAW, CIA and elements of the Soviet KGB created, trained, armed and funded the Mukti Bahini terror squads that broke down the Pakistani Armed Forces through guerilla warfare, setting the stage for the breakaway of East Pakistan, known today as the nation-state of Bangladesh. There was no “popular Bengali uprising” as it often parroted by Zionist media and academia, there was a plot of subversion directed by the enemies of Pakistan with Hindutva at the head (24). This is further confirmed by the Syed in which he points out that the Pakistani Army was 10,000 miles away from base, fighting 4GW in the streets while India invaded from three sides with 500,000 soldiers and 250,000 more Mukti Bahini terrorists. The “soldiers of Jinnah, soldiers of ‘Allama Iqbal” were overwhelmed, and the dismemberment of Pakistan was completed (25). It is highly critical to add that the Zionist regime assisted India in this plot (26), as balkanizing and weakening Islamic states is a cornerstone of the Jewish supremacist entity’s foreign policy, as discussed earlier in the chronicling of the TTP’s history.

The modern day “Agartala Conspiracy” can be accurately referred to as the “Balochistan Conspiracy.” Just before the Mossad-and-RAW-backed TTP began carrying out its latest massacre of Shi’a Muslims in an attempt to drum up more sectarian tension across Pakistan, which, by the way, is an ongoing machination as Pakistani security forces just stopped another possible attack on Kirani Road in the Hazara Town neighborhood of Quetta (27), a tragedy of literally mountainous proportions struck the Pakistan nation on April 7th, 2012 as an avalanche on the famed Siachen Glacier, a massively geopolitically important strategic nexus and integral, ancestral part of Pakistan’s national and cultural heritage, slammed down upon the headquarters of the 6NLI battalion of the Pakistani Army, trapping at least 139 soldiers and civilians underneath the frozen tundra. Illegally occupied by Hindutva in April 1984 in Operation Meghdoot, Siachen is once again back in the spotlight and reminding Pakistanis that the agreement signed between their nation and India in 1989 to secure the withdrawal of all forces has been consistently ignored because of Hindutva’s intransigence and its dreams of supremacist expansionism (28).

The illegal Indian occupation
of the Siachen Glacier
is key to the overall
Zionist-Hindutvadi strategy
vis-à-vis Pakistan.

Developed by the Indian Armed Forces’ Western Command in 1978 and actually engaged by the Indian Armed Forces’ Northern Command, Operation Meghdoot was launched to capture Karakoram Highway (KKH), therefore disconnecting Pakistan’s road links to China, as well as to capture the passes that connect Siachen Glacier to Gilgit-Baltistan, therefore confiscating yet another piece of land historically linked with occupied Kashmir. This act of Hindutvadi criminality was meant to bog down large numbers of Pakistan’s best and brightest forces in high altitude warfare, while continuing the build-up towards the initiation of the Cold Start Doctrine and Operation Kurukshetra. Moreover, what is additionally and most importantly attached to the “bog-down” strategy of the illegal Indian occupation of Siachen is its policy of supporting terrorists in Balochistan, specifically the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and of course, the TTP (28). Hindutva and its allies in theCIA and Britain’s MI6 are also funding, arming and training the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), Baloch Republican Army (BRA) and Lashkar-e-Balochistan. RAW and CIA have set up 60 training camps across Balochistan to maintain this destabilization, which is occurring just 100 miles east of Iran (29).

Where there is Hindutva, Zionism is never too far away and this is especially true for Balochistan. Another vital asset of the gaggle of secessionist-terrorist elements being utilized by the enemies of Pakistan to plunge the Islamic nation into devastation is the shadowy group known as Jundallah, which has been trained and armed by Mossad for years now. Mossad has used Jundallah against the Islamic Republic of Iran on numerous occasions in bloody, bloody slaughterous attacks and even Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei himself has made mention of it (30).

Mossad operatives posed
as CIA agents to recruit
Jundallah terrorists into
causing a rift between
Pakistan and Iran; a
classic “Israeli” false flag.

In its typical use of its classic and favorite tactic, the false flag, operatives of Mossad have also posed as CIA agents and flaunted wads of American cash and US passports to recruit Jundallah into carrying out bombings against Iranian women and children to terrorize the Zionist entity’s most hated enemy. While this has been analyzed in journalistic spheres on and off the Internet, what hasn’t been discussed is that a main objective of this particular Zionist false flag was to drive a wedge between Pakistan and Iran and foment suspicion between them (31). Thankfully, despite the terrible, terrible loss of Iranian life, the brotherly Islamic Republics have gotten over this and are moving forward with an important gas project in the face of immense pressure from the Zionist-occupied United States government (32).

William Safire, infamous neconservative ideologue and member of the Jewish-Zionist brain trust that planned the annihilation of Iraq, was well-known forsupporting the formation of a Kurdish state because it would weaken the Zionist entity’s three greatest enemies, Iraq, Iran and Syria (33). This exact line of Zionist thinking is present in the minds of Safire’s constituents at the powerful neoconservative think tank, the Brookings Institution, which produced a policy paper entitled, “Which Path To Persia?” that lays out numerous Israelcentric strategies for America and “Israel” to destroy Iran, including the launch of an insurgency in Balochistan with Pakistan being transformed into a total slave-state to support the terrorism against Iran by proxy. “Which Path To Persia?” was authored by notorious ‘Iranophobe’ and Jewish supremacist Kenneth M. Pollack, world-renowned lobbyist for the usurping Zionist regime Martin Indyk, Jewish-Zionist CIA stalwart and developer of Obama’s Af-Pak strategy Bruce Reidel, Jewish supremacist defender of the criminal “Israeli” practice of “targeted killings” Daniel L. Byman and neoconservative shabbos goyim Suzanne Maloney and Michael E. O’Hanlon (34).

Oded Yinon’s plan
made manifest in Pakistan:
Balochistan and Pashtunistan
secede, leaving the mighty
Islamic Republic in Zionist-made
shambles.

“Israeli” foreign policy advisor Oded Yinon’s “A Strategy For Israel In The 1980s”, the monumental 1982 paper that documented in detail how the Jewish occupation regime plans to balkanize its enemies through infiltration, subversion and terrorism, rendering them non-existent as robust nation-states and turning them into satellites of Zionist hegemony, was instrumental in the Jewish decimation of Iraq (35), and it is now being implemented in numerous nations across the continent of Africa (36). The Yinon plan is also very much underway in Pakistan, with the ultimate territorial goal of the Zionist entity being to break off Balochistan from the Islamic Republic, as well as a larger chunk of land in the western part of the country to make way for a gutted Afghanistan called “Pashtunistan (37),” thus crippling Pakistan in a devastating way, essentially reincarnating and modernizing the “Agartala Conspiracy” of 1971.

The convergence of Zionist-Hindutvadi objectives in Balochistan is by no means a coincidence. It is in fact exceedingly deliberate. A sister of the Dragon Policy, the Yinon-styled infiltration of Balochistan is a plot more than 10 years old known as “Operation Blue Tulsi.” The resurrection of the BLA and its offshoots, the training camps set up for them, the bases set up by Mossad, RAW and the occasional cluster of CIA agents to run the terror squads, the BLA designs to overthrow the Islamabad government in 2004, the setup of a Baloch regime office in occupied al-Quds to better coordinate Mossad-RAW-CIA subversion schemes, the assassinations of top military and intelligence officials followed by their replacement with infiltrators from the Zionist-Hindutvadi nexus, and all other facsimile events are part and parcel of Operation Blue Tulsi (38), which is being executed simultaneously alongside Cold Start and Operation Kurukshetra.

On a side note, it is interesting to record that the “Pakistani” troops exported to Bahrain to be used in the crackdown on a revolutionary uprising in that country at the behest of its ruling regime, the criminal and barbaric Al-Khalifa monarchy, which has bragged about its ties to Mossad and has told all of its top officials not to refer to “Israel” as the “enemy” or the “Zionist entity (39),” are not from the nationalistic and anti-Zionist military-intelligence apparatus of Pakistan, but from Balochistan (40). Not only is Mossad-RAW-backed terrorism from Balochistan wreaking havoc on the lives of innocent Pakistanis and Kashmiris, but Bahrainis too.

There isn’t a single
aspect of Pakistan’s
tragic political history
that hasn’t been dirtied
by the hands of “Israel”
and India.

With revelations having emerged from Jewish former US Ambassador to India John Gunther Dean that Mossad and RAW orchestrated the “accident” that murdered General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq in 1988 (41), it seems that there isn’t a single segment of the tragic aspects of Pakistan’s tumultuous history that Zionism and Hindutva didn’t have their dirty hands in. Moreover, the Zionist-controlled United States has started bombing the “child of Jinnah, child of ‘Allama Iqbal” once again with drones as sadistic revenge for cutting off NATO supplies to occupied Afghanistan (42); the latest attack has left four little Pakistani girls slaughtered (43). And with the egregious and monstrous human rights abuses in occupied Kashmir continuing en masse, as most recently evidenced by the Indian occupation army being implicated in punishing Kashmiris through slave labor (44), and the more than1,332 Kashmiris locked up in Hindutvadi dungeons through the draconian PSA over the last three years (45), the aforesaid plans for another intifada in the Vale couldn’t have come at a better time. The filthy and pernicious plots of the Zionist-Hindutvadi alliance against the peoples of Pakistan and occupied Kashmir must be confronted and stopped once and for all.

One day, the breathtakingly
gorgeous land of Kashmir will
be free of Hindutva’s military
occupation and Zionism’s plots
of subversion and balkanization.

To reiterate, it indeed is not an exaggeration to suggest that Pakistan, occupied Kashmir, and, due to it being included in the enemy plots against these nation-states, the Iranian Islamic Revolution, stand on the brink of oblivion. The usurping Jewish entity and the Hindutvadi New Delhi regime are doped up on geopolitical and religious fundamentalism that is driving each and every decision that they make in pursuit of two separate empires: Greater “Israel”, the Zionist confiscation and domination of all Arab lands between the Nile and the Euphrates, and Hindutva, the Hindutvadi confiscation and domination of every piece of territory within the Southeast Asia Subcontinent. Whoever stands in their way faces the unfortunately but nevertheless extremely real prospect of a ruthless militaristic backlash at the hands of these two supremacist allies. It is not only because of the “Israeli”-Indian drive for hegemony that Pakistan, Kashmir and Iran are being targeted, it is because of their defiance of their enemies’ thieving thirst for Muslim land and treasure that they are in the reticle; they refuse to be subjugated, they refuse to bow before anyone except their Creator.

Pakistan, Kashmir and Iran, along with the Resistance parties in Syria, Lebanon, occupied Palestine, Bahrain, Iraq, Somalia, Belarus, Yemen, Bolivia, Venezuela and anywhere else in the world where there is struggle in the shadows against this mad and bloodthirsty nexus of supremacism and thuggery are humanity’s last hope for a better world. A just world. A peaceful world. A world of tolerance and understanding. A world of brotherhood and sisterhood, free from internationalist Jewish usury and the ever-looming threat of Zionist-Hindutvadi expansionism. Such a world is possible and the aforementioned “Peoples of Resistance” show us that it is so day in and day out. May their miraculous defiance persist in inspiring us all and spread to every corner of the globe until Zionism, Hindutva and all of the marionettes attached to their machinations fade away into the most damned pages of history. If it does, Azadi for everyone is just around the corner.

Sohni and Mahiwal – A Punjabi Love Story

Sohni and Mahiwal – A Love Story

sohni_mahiwal_PB55_l

Sometime during the late Mughal period there lived in a town on the banks of River Chenab, or one of its branches, a potter (kumhar) named Tulla. The town has been identified either as present day Gujrat or one of the nearby towns. Tulla was a master craftsman and his earthenware was bought and sold throughout Northern India and even exported to Central Asia. To the potter and his wife was born a daughter. She was such a beautiful child that they named her Sohni (meaning beautiful in Punjabi).

Sohni spent her childhood playing and observing things in her father’s workshop. She watched pots being made from clay and shaped on the wheel, dried in the sun and then fired and baked in the furnace. Sohni grew up to be not only a beautiful young woman but also an accomplished artist who made floral designs on the pots and pitchers that came off her father’s wheel.

Sohni’s town was located on the trading route between Delhi and Central Asia and trading caravans passed through it. One such caravan that made a stopover included a young handsome trader from Bukhara, named Izzat Baig. While checking out the merchandize in the town Izzat Baig came upon Tulla’s workshop where he spotted Sohni sitting in a corner of the workshop painting floral designs on the earthenware.

Izzat Baig was immediately taken by Sohni’s rustic beauty and charm and couldn’t take his eyes off her. In order to linger at the workshop he started purchasing random pieces of pottery as if he were buying them for trading. He returned the next day and made some more purchases at Tulla’s shop. His purchases were a pretext to be around Sohni for as long as he could. This became Izzat Baig’s routine until he had squandered most of his money.

When the time came for his caravan to leave, Izzat Baig found it impossible to leave Sohni’s town. He told his companions to leave without him and that he would follow later. He took up permanent residence in the town and would visit Sohni at her father’s shop on one pretext or the other. Sohni also began to feel the heat of Izzat Baig’s love and gradually began to melt, so to speak. The two started meeting secretly.

Izzat Baig soon ran out of money and started taking up odd jobs with different people including Sohni’s father. One such job was that of grazing people’s cattle – buffaloes. Because of his newfound occupation people started calling him Mahiwal: a short variation of MajhaNwala or the buffalo-man.

That name stayed with him for the rest of his life and even after.

Sohni and Mahiwal’s clandestine meetings soon became the talk of the town. When Sohni’s father came to know about the affair he hurriedly arranged Sohni’s marriage with one of her cousins, also a potter, and, against Sohni’s protests and entreaties, bundled her off to her new home in a village somewhere on the other side of the river.

When Mahiwal came to know of Sohni’s marriage he was devastated. He left town and became a wanderer searching for Sohni’s whereabouts. Eventually he found her house and managed to meet her in the guise of a beggar and gave her his new address – a hut across the river. Sohni’s husband, meanwhile, had discovered that he could not win Sohni’s heart no matter what he did to please her and started spending more time away from home on business trips. Taking advantage of her husband’s absence Sohni started meeting Mahiwal regularly.

She would swim across the river at night with the help of a large water pitcher (gharra), a common swimming aid in the villages even today. They would spend most of the night together in Mahiwal’s hut and before the crack of dawn Sohni would swim back home. She would hide the pitcher in a bush for her next trip the following night. One day, Sohni’s sister-in-law (her husband’s sister) came to visit. Suspecting something unusual about Sohni’s nocturnal movements, she started spying on her. She followed Sohni one night and saw her take out the pitcher from the bush, wade into the river and then swim across. She reported the matter to her mother (Sohni’s mother-in-law) and both of them, rather than informing Sohni’s husband, decided to get rid of Sohni. This, they believed, was the best way to save the family from infamy.

The sister-in-law secretly took out the pitcher from the bush and replaced it with one that was not baked but only sun-dried. As usual, Sohni got out at night for her meeting with Mahiwal, picked the pitcher from the bush, as she always did, and entered the river. It was a stormy night and the river was in flood. Sohni was soon engulfed in water and discovered, to her horror, that her pitcher was an un-baked one that would soon dissolve and disintegrate.

What shall she do now? Abandon the trip and go back or continue trying to swim without the pitcher and drown? Her inner struggle at this point – her fear of not being able to make the trip and thus not living up to the test of true love, her hope of making it, somehow, with the help of the pitcher Roughly translated and paraphrased the song runs as follows:

Sohni, addressing the pitcher:
It’s dark and the river is in flood
There is water all around.
How am I going to meet my Mahiwal?
If I keep going I will surely drown
And if I turn back
I wouldn’t be living up to my promise to Mahiwal
I beg you, with folded hands,
Help me cross the river and meet my Mahiwal.
You always did it. Please do it tonight, too.

The pitcher replies:
I wish I were baked in the fire of love like you are
But I am not. Sorry, I am helpless.

Hearing Sohni’s cries for help,Mahiwal also jumped into the river to save herAs the story goes, their bodies were washed ashore and found next day lying next to each other.

With their death Sohni and Mahiwal moved into the world of legends and lore. In their death the sinners became saints.

STINKY INDIA

India faces stinking reality on Toilet Day

About half of households are without functioning toilets, leaving women and girls most vulnerable.

One-third of village households have toilets, while cities suffer poor sanitation and disposal mechanisms [AFP]

New Delhi, India – Nobody liked the smell of truth, more so since it concerned the tetchy aspect of toilets in India.

India’s Federal Minister of Rural Development Jairam Ramesh was accused last year of hurting Hindu religious sentiments by the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party for saying the country needed “more toilets than temples”.

Cleanliness may be next to godliness, but India – with 1.2 billion people – is far from achieving it. As World Toilet Day is marked on November 19, India’s sanitation and toilet statistics continue to raise a stink

Less than one-in-three households in Indian villages have toilets. Urban areas have more toilets but nevertheless suffer from poor sanitation and disposal mechanisms.

The lack of public toilets for the urban poor and in rural areas leads to alarming rates of water-borne disease and affects women and children most, campaigners say.

India also carries the shame of having manual labourers, mostly marginalised people who belong to a community formerly called “untouchables” or Dalits, to clean human excreta from open lavatories, even today in the 21st century.

You can find public urinals for men, but women suffer most as Indian cities and villages do not make space for women’s basic needs. Gender gets the worse off in this shitty business.

– Inder Salim, Delhi-based artist

While a 1961 census by the government said there were more than 3.5 million “faeces scavengers”, recent reports have said the number is down to 64,000. This is contested by NGOs saying these workers still suffer the ignominy of cleaning human excreta, suffer illnesses and social ostracisation.

A few years ago, “Shit of the Other” – a show by Delhi-based artist Inder Salim – displayed human faeces in a bottle. Some contended it was not scatological but a telling artistic statement of the state of the poor and disadvantaged, who are compelled to defecate in public in Indian cities.

“Toilets are not just confined to sanitation in India,” Salim says. “They contain layers of oppressed people, Dalits, our inability to deal with this basic human need.”

Mahatma Gandhi, India’s “Father of the Nation”, had in the early part of the 20th century branded the practice of engaging manual scavangers to clean latrines as a social evil. Gandhi preferred to clean his own toilet to set an example – something that shocked many.

Gandhi’s call to make sanitation a hygienic issue 65-years ago seems to have gone down the drain.

Consider these facts:

– Only 46.9 percent of India’s 24.66 million households have toilets, 49.8 percent defecate in the open, and 3.2 percent use public toilets, according to 2011 census figures.

– The economic impact of inadequate sanitation is about 2.4 trillion rupees ($38.4 million), or 6.4 percent of India’s gross domestic product, according to the Water and Sanitation Programme.

– The states of Jharkhand and Odisha rated lowest with 78 percent of  households lacking toilet facilities.

– More people in India have mobile phones than toilets.

Right to dignity

“We need to view services – such as the availability of functional toilets – as a part of the right to live a life of dignity and equality,” says Subhadra Menon, director of Health Communication at the Public Health Foundation of India.

But she adds: “Having said that, the provision of toilets to 1.2 billion people is far more complex than making mobile phones available, so in a sense, it isn’t right to compare apples and oranges.

Infographic: World Toilet Day

Al Jazeera assesses the worldwide progress in boosting access to improved sanitation

“But yes, the kind of social and other marketing that can be utilised to influence choices and behaviours is not being done optimally in the case of the use of toilets.”

Sulabh International is an NGO promoting sanitation across the country. Its founder, Bindeshwar Pathak, bemoans that “India lacks a culture of sanitation.”

The royal rajas – erstwhile rulers – might have had slaves to evacuate their “thunder boxes”, but much of India has had a late start to “toilet training”, Pathak says.

“Even the rural rich in the 1950s did not have toilet facilities in their mansions. Women went to the open for their ablutions as did the men.”

While he says India has made progress from a no-toilet scenario to providing nearly half of its population with latrines, “implementation of rural sanitation must be made priority and speeded up”, says Pathak.

Sulabh is seeking ways to accelerate the installation of toilet facilities. These programmes include training youth in both rural and urban areas on health and sanitation; pressing the government for fund allocation, and encouraging alternative livelihoods for caste groups that manually scavenge toilets.

‘No toilets, no marriage’

It’s easier for modern Indian women in the metros to walk into a shopping mall and find a loo. But it is not so for their underprivileged sisters who are poor or live in villages with no toilet facilities.

Women and girls often defecate in public, harming their health and also inviting molestation and unwanted attention from men in both rural and urban areas.

Priyanka Bharti returned to her husband’s home only when a proper toilet was built [AFP]

Police in the state of Bihar have admitted violence against women could be contained if more public toilets were provided.

As Salim points out, “You can find public urinals for men, but women suffer most as Indian cities and villages do not make space for women’s basic needs. Gender gets the worse off in this shitty business.”

Ramesh, who has campaigned zealously for the need for toilets, last year invoked a “no toilet, no bride” campaign. He exhorted women to not marry men whose family homes did not come equipped with toilets.

Some instances have occurred where brides have left the home of the groom after finding the household did not have a proper toilet. It has forced some men to pose in photos beside toilets in their home before seeking a bride in their villages.

A “right to pee” campaign was also launched in April 2012 by a group of non-profit organisations in Mumbai. They fought for the use of free toilets for women who were until then charged a fee to use toilets, while men could use them for free.

India’s Supreme Court ruled in 2011 that every government school must provide toilets, especially for girls. Inability to do so would mean closing the schools down.

“Once political support – across party lines – builds up for an issue, chances are it gets addressed satisfactorily,” says Menon. “Therefore, it is more about how all our politicians and elected representatives can take up the issue of toilets being provided.

“The critical issue is this – each and every day, young, adolescent girls and young adult women [and men actually] need to expose themselves to multiple vulnerabilities,” Menon says. “This makes even more serious the ignominy that these girls and women face – including not having a clean and functional toilet that they can use with a guarantee of privacy.”
