In the cyber-age, online information and interaction of peoples among the countries, relating to various fields have converted our planet into a global village, as we dreamed in the past. By bringing the political battles into our bedrooms, social media, mobile phones, TV channels, online newspapers and websites have made it much difficult for politicians to speak lies and to hide information. Hence, taking cognizance of these developments, responsible politicians and statesmen follow the global trends like a renunciation of war, peaceful settlement of disputes and economic development. But, it is the misfortune of India and the international community that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been following Hitler’s Germany in the modern era.
Renowned historians agree that Adolf Hitler was impulsive ruler, guided by ungoverned temper—he was the most ambitious leader who believed in the principle of “world power or downfall.” He had a firm faith in the superiority of the German race and inferiority of other races. Nazi ideology played a major role in Hitler’s thinking. He believed that the path to German greatness was through aggressive military actions. Hitler became a powerful ruler and acted upon an aggressive foreign policy to subjugate other nations.
Particularly, Hitler’s character and adverse circumstances in Germany helped him to come to power. The Germans were badly humiliated by the Treaty of Versailles (Peace Settlement 1919) which resulted into multiple crises, especially unemployment in Germany. Hitler was a great orator and his techniques of propaganda helped him to influence millions of people. The Germans felt that Hitler could not only resolve their problems but could also restore the glory of Germany in the eyes of the world. The more Hitler manipulated the injustices of the Treaty of Versailles, the more he became popular with the public.
After coming to power, Adolf Hitler’s internal policies were authoritarian and totalitarian. Liberty disappeared completely. The secret police-Gestapo was formed to deal with the slightest indication of opposition.
It is mentionable that by imitating the Nazi party, in the Indian general elections of 2019, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won huge majority in the Lok Sabha, with 21 seats more than it won in the 2014 elections. During the election-campaign, Hindu majority was mobilized on ‘hate Muslim’ slogans and ‘anti-Pakistan’ jargons. While pursuing Hitler’s propaganda techniques, the incessant and unjust Indian propaganda against the Muslims and Pakistan was beyond anybody’s cognition, which still keeps on going. Indian Prime Minister Modi’s extremist party BJP had also got a land sliding triumph in the Indian elections 2014 on the basis of anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistan slogans. Like Hitler, Modi succeeded in misguiding the general masses with promises to restore jobs and to resolve the internal problems of India.
During his emotional speeches, Mod’s body language and way of speaking are not less than those of Hitler.
Since the leader of the ruling party BJP Modi became Prime Minister of India, various developments like unprecedented rise of Hindu extremism, persecution of minorities even of lower cast-Hindus, forced conversions of other religious minorities into Hindus, ban on beef and cow slaughter, inclusion of Hindu religious books in curriculum, creation of war-like situation with Pakistan etc. clearly show that encouraged by the Hindu fundamentalist outfits such as BJP, RSS, VHP, Bajrang Dal and Shiv Sena, including other similar parties have been promoting religious and ethnic chauvinism in India by propagating ideology of Hindutva (Hindu Nationalism). Particularly, assaults on Christians and Muslims, including their places of worships and property have been accelerated by the fanatic Hindu mobs.
However, Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party had come to power with the avowed purpose of conquering colonies and foreign lands for the Germans. They must have a living space-‘Lebensraum’ as the Nazis called it for the living surplus German population and find raw materials and markets for German industrial goods. Religious fervour inspired by ‘Hitlerite’ Germany, which was supported by the country’s industrial and financial magnates, wanted to establish its domination first over Europe and then over the entire world.
Similarly, Hindutva ideology has become ‘Lebensraum’ of Modi-led BJB government which has mixed politics with religious fervour. Earlier, Modi was supported by the country’s big industrialists.
Notably, in the aftermath of the elections 2019, news reports have highlighted different cases in which Dalits and especially Muslims were violently targeted for reasons as varied as allegedly possessing beef, protesting against caste-based discrimination or simply being Muslim. Especially, various incidents of arrests, violent assaults and killings of the Muslims, including the persons of other religious communities by the Hindus have been recorded. Surprisingly, Indian police is also being used by the Indian rulers in this regard.
In this connection, RSS [Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh] chief Mohan Bhagwat said on October 8, 2019: “Bharat is Hindu Rashtra and all Bharatiyas are Hindus.”
It is notable that secularism and the world’s largest democracy were the two principle reasons India was respected around the world despite the fact that both slogans were not prevalent in their essence. BJP, the political face of RSS has gradually engulfed India and is tightening grip over the social mindset like an angry “Octopus”. The tolerance levels in Indian society are rapidly diminishing and Hindutva stands order of the day. Soon the trauma being faced by Kashmiris fell upon other minorities too. This is the fear which made Chief of Akal Takht, highest temporal seat of the Sikh community, who called for a ban on the RSS, saying that allowing it to operate freely would only “divide” the nation.
If Hitler acted upon an aggressive foreign policy to subjugate other nations, India also did the same under Modi rule. Since August 5, 2019, Indian extremist Prime Minister Modi’s government ended the special status of the Jammu and Kashmir by abolishing articles 35A and 370 of the Constitution to turn Muslim majority into a minority in the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK). Besides, implementing the August 5 announcement, the Indian central government issued a notorious map on October 31, 2019. In accordance with it, the state of Jammu and Kashmir which includes the Kashmir Valley and the Ladakh area—be split into two federal territories. Jammu and Kashmir will have a state legislature, and Ladakh will be ruled directly by New Delhi.
While, almost six months have been passed, Indian forces have continued lockdown and curfew in the Indian Occupied Kashmir

. More restrictions have been imposed in the wake of shortage of foods and even medicines for the patients. In order to hide human rights violations, communication services (Especially Internet) have been cut off from the world and foreign journalists are not allowed to enter that region. India which already had 500,000 troops in the Indian Controlled Kashmir sent almost 30000 extra troops. Various sources suggest that hundreds of persons have been died owing to Indian state terrorism and lack of basic needs of life in India Occupied Kashmir. Thus, imitating ‘Hitlerite’ Germany, New Delhi has also converted Kashmir into concentration camps.
Indian fanatic rulers also started acting upon the Indian Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 (CAA), passed by the Indian Parliament. The CAA (The National Register of Citizenship) is against the Muslim immigrants especially from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Despite criticism of the rights groups, foreign leaders, the UNO and moderate Hindus in wake of violent protests across India, the Modi-led regime has not withdrawn the CAA/NRC.
In this respect, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has repeatedly said: “The controversial Citizenship Amendment Bill was the latest of Modi’s attempts to promulgate his supremacist agenda, starting with illegal annexation and continuing siege of IOJK [Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir]; then stripping 2 million Indian Muslim in Assam of citizenship, setting up internment camps…all this accompanied by mob lynchings of Muslims and other minorities in India…bowing down to a genocidal supremacist agenda, propagated by Nazi Germany, had once before lead to World War II…As in Nazi Germany, in Modi’s India dissent has been marginalised and the world must step in before it is too late to counter this Hindu supremacist agenda [that is] threatening bloodshed and war…under the influence of German Nazis’ mindset, the Bharatiya Janata Party government in India is relentlessly implementing the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) supremacist ideology against its minorities….The ideology of Hindutva, which has direct inspiration from the German Nazis, believed in the Hindus’ racial superiority over other communities residing inside India, especially the Muslims and the Christians…India, a nuclear-armed country of about two billion people, is moving on a path of disaster…Modi’s Hindu supremacist agenda, accompanied by threats to Pakistan under a nuclear overhang, will lead to massive bloodshed and far-reaching consequences for the world.”
Meanwhile, Indian extremist Prime Minister Modi’s government led by the extremist party BJP is propagating that there is a strong likelihood of a major terrorist attack from Pakistan in India. In fact, such a fake drama India, itself, will arrange to implicate Pakistan in order to divert the attention from the perennial military clampdown in the IOK and protests against the CAA/NRC New Delhi’s preplanned drama to involve Islamabad has been exposed even by Indian media on January 12, this year. But, despite it, Indian fundamental rulers can implement their scheme of false flag operation, as Pakistan’s civil and military leaders have repeatedly warned the international community about it.
Nevertheless, it was due to Hitler’s war-like diplomacy that militarization of Germany alarmed France, England and Russia. Thus, they humiliated the Germans, as their country was defeated in World War II.
But, Indian Premier Narendra Modi is following dangerous policies of Hitler’s Germany in the modern era, which could culminate into nuclear war between Pakistan and India. If not checked by the Western major countries which prefer India as their largest market, such an atomic war would not only be catastrophic for the region, but also for the entire world.
