They don’t hate ‘our freedoms.’ They hate that we’ve betrayed our ideals in their own countries — for oil.
In part, because my father was murdered by an Arab, I’ve made an effort to understand the impact of U.S. policy in the Mideast and particularly the factors that sometimes motivate bloodthirsty responses from the Islamic world against our country. As we focus on the rise of the Islamic State and search for the source of the savagery that took so many innocent lives in Paris and San Bernardino, we might want to look beyond the convenient explanations of religion and ideology. Instead, we should examine the more complex rationales of history and oil — and how they often point the finger of blame back at our own shores.
America’s unsavory record of violent interventions in Syria — little-known to the American people yet well-known to Syrians — sowed fertile ground for the violent Islamic jihadism that now complicates any effective response by our government to address the challenge of ISIL. So long as the American public and policymakers are unaware of this past, further interventions are likely only to compound the crisis. Secretary of State John Kerry this week announced a “provisional” ceasefire in Syria. But since U.S. leverage and prestige within Syria is minimal — and the ceasefire doesn’t include key combatants such as Islamic State and al Nusra — it’s bound to be a shaky truce at best. Similarly President Obama’s stepped-up military intervention in Libya — U.S. airstrikes targeted an Islamic State training camp last week — is likely to strengthen rather than weaken the radicals. As the New York Times reported in a December 8, 2015, front-page story, Islamic State political leaders and strategic planners are working to provoke an American military intervention. They know from experience this will flood their ranks with volunteer fighters, drown the voices of moderation and unify the Islamic world against America.
To understand this dynamic, we need to look at history from the Syrians’ perspective and particularly the seeds of the current conflict. Long before our 2003 occupation of Iraq triggered the Sunni uprising that has now morphed into the Islamic State, the CIA had nurtured violent jihadism as a Cold War weapon and freighted U.S./Syrian relationships with toxic baggage.
This did not happen without controversy at home. In July 1957, following a failed coup in Syria by the CIA, my uncle, Sen. John F. Kennedy, infuriated the Eisenhower White House, the leaders of both political parties and our European allies with a milestone speech endorsing the right of self-governance in the Arab world and an end to America’s imperialist meddling in Arab countries. Throughout my lifetime, and particularly during my frequent travels to the Mideast, countless Arabs have fondly recalled that speech to me as the clearest statement of the idealism they expected from the U.S. Kennedy’s speech was a call for recommitting America to the high values our country had championed in the Atlantic Charter; the formal pledge that all the former European colonies would have the right to self-determination following World War II. Franklin D. Roosevelt had strong-armed Winston Churchill and the other allied leaders to sign the Atlantic Charter in 1941 as a precondition for U.S. support in the European war against fascism.
U.S. Attorney General Robert Kennedy gives a speech in September 1964
But thanks in large part to Allen Dulles and the CIA, whose foreign policy intrigues were often directly at odds with the stated policies of our nation, the idealistic path outlined in the Atlantic Charter was the road not taken. In 1957, my grandfather, Ambassador Joseph P. Kennedy, sat on a secret committee charged with investigating the CIA’s clandestine mischief in the Mideast. The so-called “Bruce-Lovett Report,” to which he was a signatory, described CIA coup plots in Jordan, Syria, Iran, Iraq and Egypt, all common knowledge on the Arab street, but virtually unknown to the American people who believed, at face value, their government’s denials. The report blamed the CIA for the rampant anti-Americanism that was then mysteriously taking root “in the many countries in the world today.” The Bruce-Lovett Report pointed out that such interventions were antithetical to American values and had compromised America’s international leadership and moral authority without the knowledge of the American people. The report also said that the CIA never considered how we would treat such interventions if some foreign government were to engineer them in our country.
This is the bloody history that modern interventionists like George W. Bush, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio miss when they recite their narcissistic trope that Mideast nationalists “hate us for our freedoms.” For the most part, they don’t; instead, they hate us for the way we betrayed those freedoms — our own ideals — within their borders.

For Americans to really understand what’s going on, it’s important to review some details about this sordid but little-remembered history. During the 1950s, President Eisenhower and the Dulles brothers — CIA Director Allen Dulles and Secretary of State John Foster Dulles — rebuffed Soviet treaty proposals to leave the Middle East a neutral zone in the Cold War and let Arabs rule Arabia. Instead, they mounted a clandestine war against Arab nationalism — which Allen Dulles equated with communism — particularly when Arab self-rule threatened oil concessions. They pumped secret American military aid to tyrants in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iraq, and Lebanon favoring puppets with conservative Jihadist ideologies that they regarded as a reliable antidote to Soviet Marxism. At a White House meeting between the CIA’s director of plans, Frank Wisner, and John Foster Dulles, in September 1957, Eisenhower advised the agency, “We should do everything possible to stress the ‘holy war’ aspect,” according to a memo recorded by his staff secretary, Gen. Andrew J. Goodpaster.
The CIA began its active meddling in Syria in 1949 — barely a year after the agency’s creation. Syrian patriots had declared war on the Nazis, expelled their Vichy French colonial rulers and crafted a fragile secularist democracy based on the American model. But in March 1949, Syria’s democratically elected president, Shukri-al-Quwatli, hesitated to approve the Trans-Arabian Pipeline, an American project intended to connect the oil fields of Saudi Arabia to the ports of Lebanon via Syria. In his book, Legacy of Ashes, CIA historian Tim Weiner recounts that in retaliation for Al-Quwatli’s lack of enthusiasm for the U.S. pipeline, the CIA engineered a coup replacing al-Quwatli with the CIA’s hand-picked dictator, a convicted swindler named Husni al-Za’im. Al-Za’im barely had time to dissolve parliament and approve the American pipeline before his countrymen deposed him, four and a half months into his regime.
Following several counter-coups in the newly destabilized country, the Syrian people again tried democracy in 1955, re-electing al-Quwatli and his National Party. Al-Quwatli was still a Cold War neutralist, but, stung by American involvement in his ouster, he now leaned toward the Soviet camp. That posture caused CIA Director Dulles to declare that “Syria is ripe for a coup” and send his two coup wizards, Kim Roosevelt and Rocky Stone, to Damascus.
Two years earlier, Roosevelt and Stone had orchestrated a coup in Iran against the democratically elected President Mohammed Mosaddegh, after Mosaddegh tried to renegotiate the terms of Iran’s lopsided contracts with the British oil giant Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (now BP). Mosaddegh was the first elected leader in Iran’s 4,000-year history and a popular champion for democracy across the developing world. Mosaddegh expelled all British diplomats after uncovering a coup attempt by U.K. intelligence officers working in cahoots with BP. Mosaddegh, however, made the fatal mistake of resisting his advisers’ pleas to also expel the CIA, which, they correctly suspected, was complicit in the British plot. Mosaddegh idealized the U.S. as a role model for Iran’s new democracy and incapable of such perfidies. Despite Dulles’ needling, President Harry Truman had forbidden the CIA from actively joining the British caper to topple Mosaddegh. When Eisenhower took office in January 1953, he immediately unleashed Dulles. After ousting Mosaddegh in “Operation Ajax,” Stone and Roosevelt installed Shah Reza Pahlavi, who favored U.S. oil companies but whose two decades of CIA sponsored savagery toward his own people from the Peacock throne would finally ignite the 1979 Islamic revolution that has bedeviled our foreign policy for 35 years.
Mohammed Mosaddegh, the democratically elected Prime Minister of Iran from 1951-1953, pictured left in 1951, the same year he was named TIME Person of the Year, right. His tenure was cut short by a United States-led coup in 1953, which installed Shah Reza Pahlavi
Flush from his Operation Ajax “success” in Iran, Stone arrived in Damascus in April 1957 with $3 million to arm and incite Islamic militants and to bribe Syrian military officers and politicians to overthrow al-Quwatli’s democratically elected secularist regime, according to Safe for Democracy: The Secret Wars of the CIA, by John Prados. Working with the Muslim Brotherhood and millions of dollars, Rocky Stone schemed to assassinate Syria’s chief of intelligence, the chief of its General Staff and the chief of the Communist Party, and to engineer “national conspiracies and various strong-arm” provocations in Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan that could be blamed on the Syrian Ba’athists. Tim Weiner describes in Legacy of Ashes how the CIA’s plan was to destabilize the Syrian government and create a pretext for an invasion of Iraq and Jordan, whose governments were already under CIA control. Kim Roosevelt forecast that the CIA’s newly installed puppet government would “rely first upon repressive measures and arbitrary exercise of power,” according to declassified CIA documents reported in The Guardian newspaper.
But all that CIA money failed to corrupt the Syrian military officers. The soldiers reported the CIA’s bribery attempts to the Ba’athist regime. In response, the Syrian army invaded the American Embassy, taking Stone prisoner. After harsh interrogation, Stone made a televised confession of his roles in the Iranian coup and the CIA’s aborted attempt to overthrow Syria’s legitimate government. The Syrians ejected Stone and two U.S. Embassy staffers—the first time any American State Department diplomat was barred from an Arab country. The Eisenhower White House hollowly dismissed Stone’s confession as “fabrications” and “slanders,” a denial swallowed whole by the American press, led by the New York Times and believed by the American people, who shared Mosaddegh’s idealistic view of their government. Syria purged all politicians sympathetic to the U.S. and executed for treason all military officers associated with the coup. In retaliation, the U.S. moved the Sixth Fleet to the Mediterranean, threatened war and goaded Turkey to invade Syria. The Turks assembled 50,000 troops on Syria’s borders and backed down only in the face of unified opposition from the Arab League whose leaders were furious at the U.S. intervention. Even after its expulsion, the CIA continued its secret efforts to topple Syria’s democratically elected Ba’athist government. The CIA plotted with Britain’s MI6 to form a “Free Syria Committee” and armed the Muslim Brotherhood to assassinate three Syrian government officials, who had helped expose “the American plot,” according to Matthew Jones in “The ‘Preferred Plan’: The Anglo-American Working Group Report on Covert Action in Syria, 1957.” The CIA’s mischief pushed Syria even further away from the U.S. and into prolonged alliances with Russia and Egypt.
Following the second Syrian coup attempt, anti-American riots rocked the Mideast from Lebanon to Algeria. Among the reverberations was July 14, 1958, coup, led by the new wave of anti-American Army officers who overthrew Iraq’s pro-American monarch, Nuri al-Said. The coup leaders published secret government documents, exposing Nuri al-Said as a highly paid CIA puppet. In response to American treachery, the new Iraqi government invited Soviet diplomats and economic advisers to Iraq and turned its back on the West.
Having alienated Iraq and Syria, Kim Roosevelt fled the Mideast to work as an executive for the oil industry that he had served so well during his public service career at the CIA. Roosevelt’s replacement as CIA station chief, James Critchfield, attempted a failed assassination plot against the new Iraqi president using a toxic handkerchief, according to Weiner. Five years later, the CIA finally succeeded in deposing the Iraqi president and installing the Ba’ath Party in power in Iraq. A charismatic young murderer named Saddam Hussein was one of the distinguished leaders of the CIA’s Ba’athist team. The Ba’ath Party’s Secretary, Ali Saleh Sa’adi, who took office alongside Saddam Hussein, would later say, “We came to power on a CIA train,” according to A Brutal Friendship: The West and the Arab Elite, by Said Aburish, a journalist, and author. Aburish recounted that the CIA supplied Saddam and his cronies a murder list of people who “had to be eliminated immediately in order to ensure success.” Tim Weiner writes that Critchfield later acknowledged that the CIA had, in essence, “created Saddam Hussein.” During the Reagan years, the CIA supplied Hussein with billions of dollars in training, Special Forces support, weapons and battlefield intelligence, knowing that he was using poisonous mustard and nerve gas and biological weapons — including anthrax obtained from the U.S. government — in his war against Iran. Reagan and his CIA director, Bill Casey, regarded Saddam as a potential friend to the U.S. oil industry and a sturdy barrier against the spread of Iran’s Islamic Revolution. Their emissary, Donald Rumsfeld, presented Saddam with golden cowboy spurs and a menu of chemical/biological and conventional weapons on a 1983 trip to Baghdad. At the same time, the CIA was illegally supplying Saddam’s enemy, Iran, with thousands of anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles to fight Iraq, a crime made famous during the Iran-Contra scandal. Jihadists from both sides later turned many of those CIA-supplied weapons against the American people.
Even as America contemplates yet another violent Mideast intervention, most Americans are unaware of the many ways that “blowback” from previous CIA blunders has helped craft the current crisis. The reverberations from decades of CIA shenanigans continue to echo across the Mideast today in national capitals and from mosques to madras schools over the wrecked landscape of democracy and moderate Islam that the CIA helped obliterate.
A parade of Iranian and Syrian dictators, including Bashar al-Assad and his father, have invoked the history of the CIA’s bloody coups as a pretext for their authoritarian rule, repressive tactics and their need for a strong Russian alliance. These stories are therefore well known to the people of Syria and Iran who naturally interpret talk of U.S. intervention in the context of that history.
While the compliant American press parrots the narrative that our military support for the Syrian insurgency is purely humanitarian, many Arabs see the present crisis as just another proxy war over pipelines and geopolitics. Before rushing deeper into the conflagration, it would be wise for us to consider the abundant facts supporting that perspective.
In their view, our war against Bashar Assad did not begin with the peaceful civil protests of the Arab Spring in 2011. Instead, it began in 2000, when Qatar proposed to construct a $10 billion, the 1,500-kilometer pipeline through Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, and Turkey. Qatar shares with Iran the South Pars/North Dome gas field, the world’s richest natural gas repository. The international trade embargo until recently prohibited Iran from selling gas abroad. Meanwhile, Qatar’s gas can reach European markets only if it is liquefied and shipped by sea, a route that restricts volume and dramatically raises costs. The proposed pipeline would have linked Qatar directly to European energy markets via distribution terminals in Turkey, which would pocket rich transit fees. The Qatar/Turkey pipeline would give the Sunni kingdoms of the Persian Gulf decisive domination of world natural gas markets and strengthen Qatar, America’s closest ally in the Arab world. Qatar hosts two massive American military bases and the U.S. Central Command’s Mideast headquarters.

The EU, which gets 30 percent of its gas from Russia, was equally hungry for the pipeline, which would have given its members cheap energy and relief from Vladimir Putin’s stifling economic and political leverage. Turkey, Russia’s second largest gas customer, was particularly anxious to end its reliance on its ancient rival and to position itself as the lucrative transect hub for Asian fuels to EU markets. The Qatari pipeline would have benefited Saudi Arabia’s conservative Sunni monarchy by giving it a foothold in Shia-dominated Syria. The Saudis’ geopolitical goal is to contain the economic and political power of the kingdom’s principal rival, Iran, a Shiite state, and close ally of Bashar Assad. The Saudi monarchy viewed the U.S.-sponsored Shiite takeover in Iraq (and, more recently, the termination of the Iran trade embargo) as a demotion to its regional power status and was already engaged in a proxy war against Tehran in Yemen, highlighted by the Saudi genocide against the Iranian-backed Houthi tribe.
Of course, the Russians, who sell 70 percent of their gas exports to Europe, viewed the Qatar/Turkey pipeline as an existential threat. In Putin’s view, the Qatar pipeline is a NATO plot to change the status quo, deprive Russia of its only foothold in the Middle East, strangle the Russian economy and end Russian leverage in the European energy market. In 2009, Assad announced that he would refuse to sign the agreement to allow the pipeline to run through Syria “to protect the interests of our Russian ally.”
Assad further enraged the Gulf’s Sunni monarchs by endorsing a Russian-approved “Islamic pipeline” running from Iran’s side of the gas field through Syria and to the ports of Lebanon. The Islamic pipeline would make Shiite Iran, not Sunni Qatar, the principal supplier to the European energy market and dramatically increase Tehran’s influence in the Middle East and the world. Israel also was understandably determined to derail the Islamic pipeline, which would enrich Iran and Syria and presumably strengthen their proxies, Hezbollah and Hamas.
Secret cables and reports by the U.S., Saudi and Israeli intelligence agencies indicate that the moment Assad rejected the Qatari pipeline, military and intelligence planners quickly arrived at the consensus that fomenting a Sunni uprising in Syria to overthrow the uncooperative Bashar Assad was a feasible path to achieving the shared objective of completing the Qatar/Turkey gas link. In 2009, according to WikiLeaks, soon after Bashar Assad rejected the Qatar pipeline, the CIA began funding opposition groups in Syria. It is important to note that this was well before the Arab Spring-engendered uprising against Assad.
Bashar Assad’s family is Alawite, a Muslim sect widely perceived as aligned with the Shiite camp. “Bashar Assad was never supposed to be president,” journalist Seymour Hersh told me in an interview. “His father brought him back from medical school in London when his elder brother, the heir apparent, was killed in a car crash.” Before the war started, according to Hersh, Assad was moving to liberalize the country. “They had internet and newspapers and ATM machines and Assad wanted to move toward the west. After 9/11, he gave thousands of invaluable files to the CIA on jihadist radicals, who he considered a mutual enemy.” Assad’s regime was deliberately secular and Syria was impressively diverse. The Syrian government and military, for example, were 80 percent Sunni. Assad maintained peace among his diverse peoples by a strong, disciplined army loyal to the Assad family, an allegiance secured by a nationally esteemed and highly paid officer corps, a coldly efficient intelligence apparatus and a penchant for brutality that, prior to the war, was rather moderate compared to those of other Mideast leaders, including our current allies. According to Hersh, “He certainly wasn’t beheading people every Wednesday like the Saudis do in Mecca.”
Another veteran journalist, Bob Parry, echoes that assessment. “No one in the region has clean hands, but in the realms of torture, mass killings, [suppressing] civil liberties and supporting terrorism, Assad is much better than the Saudis.” No one believed that the regime was vulnerable to the anarchy that had riven Egypt, Libya, Yemen and Tunisia. By the spring of 2011, there were small, peaceful demonstrations in Damascus against repression by Assad’s regime. These were mainly the effluvia of the Arab Spring that spread virally across the Arab League States the previous summer. However, WikiLeaks cables indicate that the CIA was already on the ground in Syria.
But the Sunni kingdoms with vast petrodollars at stake wanted a much deeper involvement from America. On September 4, 2013, Secretary of State John Kerry told a congressional hearing that the Sunni kingdoms had offered to foot the bill for a U.S. invasion of Syria to oust Bashar Assad. “In fact, some of them have said that if the United States is prepared to go do the whole thing, the way we’ve done it previously in other places [Iraq], they’ll carry the cost.” Kerry reiterated the offer to Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.): “With respect to Arab countries offering to bear the costs of [an American invasion] to topple Assad, the answer is a profound yes, they have. The offer is on the table.”
Despite pressure from Republicans, Barack Obama balked at hiring out young Americans to die as mercenaries for a pipeline conglomerate. Obama wisely ignored Republican clamoring to put ground troops in Syria or to funnel more funding to “moderate insurgents.” But by late 2011, Republican pressure and our Sunni allies had pushed the American government into the fray.

In 2011, the U.S. joined France, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the UK to form the Friends of Syria Coalition, which formally demanded the removal of Assad. The CIA provided $6 million to Barada, a British TV channel, to produce pieces entreating Assad’s ouster. Saudi intelligence documents, published by WikiLeaks, show that by 2012, Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia were arming, training and funding radical jihadist Sunni fighters from Syria, Iraq and elsewhere to overthrow the Assad’s Shiite-allied regime. Qatar, which had the most to gain, invested $3 billion in building the insurgency and invited the Pentagon to train insurgents at U.S. bases in Qatar. According to an April 2014 article by Seymour Hersh, the CIA weapons ratlines were financed by Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
The idea of fomenting a Sunni-Shiite civil war to weaken the Syrian and Iranian regimes in order to maintain control of the region’s petrochemical supplies was not a novel notion in the Pentagon’s lexicon. A damning 2008 Pentagon-funded Rand report proposed a precise blueprint for what was about to happen. That report observes that control of the Persian Gulf oil and gas deposits will remain, for the U.S., “a strategic priority” that “will interact strongly with that of prosecuting the long war.” Rand recommended using “covert action, information operations, unconventional warfare” to enforce a “divide and rule” strategy. “The United States and its local allies could use the nationalist jihadists to launch a proxy campaign” and “U.S. leaders could also choose to capitalize on the sustained Shia-Sunni conflict trajectory by taking the side of the conservative Sunni regimes against Shiite empowerment movements in the Muslim world … possibly supporting authoritative Sunni governments against a continuingly hostile Iran.”
As predicted, Assad’s overreaction to the foreign-made crisis — dropping barrel bombs onto Sunni strongholds and killing civilians — polarized Syria’s Shiite/Sunni divide and allowed U.S. policymakers to sell Americans the idea that the pipeline struggle was a humanitarian war. When Sunni soldiers of the Syrian Army began defecting in 2013, the western coalition armed the Free Syrian Army to further destabilize Syria. The press portrait of the Free Syrian Army as cohesive battalions of Syrian moderates was delusional. The dissolved units regrouped in hundreds of independent militias most of which were commanded by or allied with, jihadi militants who were the most committed and effective fighters. By then, the Sunni armies of Al Qaeda in Iraq were crossing the border from Iraq into Syria and joining forces with the squadrons of deserters from the Free Syrian Army, many of them trained and armed by the U.S.
Despite the prevailing media portrait of a moderate Arab uprising against the tyrant Assad, U.S. intelligence planners knew from the outset that their pipeline proxies were radical jihadists who would probably carve themselves a brand new Islamic caliphate from the Sunni regions of Syria and Iraq. Two years before ISIL throat cutters stepped on the world stage, a seven-page August 12, 2012, study by the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency, obtained by the right-wing group Judicial Watch, warned that thanks to the ongoing support by U.S./Sunni Coalition for radical Sunni Jihadists, “the Salafist, the Muslim Brotherhood and AQI (now ISIS), are the major forces driving the insurgency in Syria.”
Using U.S. and Gulf state funding, these groups had turned the peaceful protests against Bashar Assad toward “a clear sectarian (Shiite vs. Sunni) direction.” The paper notes that the conflict had become a sectarian civil war supported by Sunni “religious and political powers.” The report paints the Syrian conflict as a global war for control of the region’s resources with “the west, Gulf countries and Turkey supporting [Assad’s] opposition, while Russia, China, and Iran support the regime.” The Pentagon authors of the seven-page report appear to endorse the predicted advent of the ISIS caliphate: “If the situation unravels, there is the possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared Salafist principality in eastern Syria (Hasaka and Der Zor) and this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want in order to isolate the Syrian regime.” The Pentagon report warns that this new principality could move across the Iraqi border to Mosul and Ramadi and “declare an Islamic state through its union with other terrorist organizations in Iraq and Syria.”
Of course, this is precisely what has happened. Not coincidentally, the regions of Syria occupied by the Islamic State exactly encompass the proposed route of the Qatari pipeline.
But then, in 2014, our Sunni proxies horrified the American people by severing heads and driving a million refugees toward Europe. “Strategies based on the idea that the enemy of my enemy is my friend can be kind of blinding,” says Tim Clemente, who chaired the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force from 2004 to 2008 and served as liaison in Iraq between the FBI, the Iraqi National Police, and the U.S. military. “We made the same mistake when we trained the mujahideen in Afghanistan. The moment the Russians left, our supposed friends started smashing antiquities, enslaving women, severing body parts and shooting at us,” Clemente told me in an interview.
When the Islamic State’s “Jihadi John” began murdering prisoners on TV, the White House pivoted, talking less about deposing Assad and more about regional stability. The Obama administration began putting daylight between itself and the insurgency we had funded. The White House pointed accusing fingers at our allies. On October 3, 2014, Vice President Joe Biden told students at the John F. Kennedy Jr. forum at the Institute of Politics at Harvard that “our allies in the region were our largest problem in Syria.” He explained that Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE were “so determined to take down Assad” that they had launched a “proxy Sunni-Shia war” funneling “hundreds of millions of dollars and tens of thousands of tons of weapons into anyone who would fight against Assad. Except for the people who were being supplied were al-Nusra, and al-Qaeda” — the two groups that merged in 2014 to form the Islamic State. Biden seemed angered that our trusted “friends” could not be trusted to follow the American agenda. Across the Mideast, Arab leaders routinely accuse the U.S. of having created the Islamic State. To most Americans, such accusations seem insane. However, to many Arabs, the evidence of U.S. involvement is so abundant that they conclude that our role in fostering the Islamic State must have been deliberate.
In fact, many of the Islamic State fighters and their commanders are ideological and organizational successors to the jihadists that the CIA has been nurturing for more than 30 years from Syria and Egypt to Afghanistan and Iraq.

Prior to the American invasion, there was no Al Qaeda in Saddam Hussein’s Iraq. President George W. Bush destroyed Saddam’s secularist government, and his viceroy, Paul Bremer, in a monumental act of mismanagement, effectively created the Sunni Army, now named the Islamic State. Bremer elevated the Shiites to power and banned Saddam’s ruling Ba’ath Party, laying off some 700,000 mostly Sunni, government and party officials from ministers to schoolteachers. He then disbanded the 380,000-man army, which was 80 percent Sunni. Bremer’s actions stripped a million of Iraq’s Sunnis of rank, property, wealth and power; leaving a desperate underclass of angry, educated, capable, trained and heavily armed Sunnis with little left to lose. The Sunni insurgency named itself Al Qaeda in Iraq. Beginning in 2011, our allies funded the invasion by AQI fighters into Syria. In April 2013, having entered Syria, AQI changed its name to ISIL. According to Dexter Filkins of the New Yorker, “ISIS is run by a council of former Iraqi generals. … Many are members of Saddam Hussein’s secular Ba’ath Party who converted to radical Islam in American prisons.” The $500 million in U.S. military aid that Obama did send to Syria almost certainly ended up benefiting these militant jihadists. Tim Clemente, the former chairman of the FBI’s joint task force, told me that the difference between the Iraq and Syria conflicts is the millions of military-aged men who are fleeing the battlefield for Europe rather than staying to fight for their communities. The obvious explanation is that the nation’s moderates are fleeing a war that is not their war. They simply want to escape being crushed between the anvil of Assad’s Russian-backed tyranny and the vicious jihadist Sunni hammer that we had a hand in wielding in a global battle over competing pipelines. You can’t blame the Syrian people for not widely embracing a blueprint for their nation minted in either Washington or Moscow. The superpowers have left no options for an idealistic future that moderate Syrians might consider fighting for. And no one wants to die for a pipeline.

What is the answer? If our objective is long-term peace in the Mideast, self-government by the Arab nations and national security at home, we must undertake any new intervention in the region with an eye on history and an intense desire to learn its lessons. Only when we Americans understand the historical and political context of this conflict will we apply appropriate scrutiny to the decisions of our leaders. Using the same imagery and language that supported our 2003 war against Saddam Hussein, our political leaders led Americans to believe that our Syrian intervention is an idealistic war against tyranny, terrorism, and religious fanaticism. We tend to dismiss as mere cynicism the views of those Arabs who see the current crisis as a rerun of the same old plots about pipelines and geopolitics. But, if we are to have an effective foreign policy, we must recognize the Syrian conflict is a war over control of resources indistinguishable from the myriad clandestine and undeclared oil wars we have been fighting in the Mideast for 65 years. And only when we see this conflict as a proxy war over a pipeline do events become comprehensible. It’s the only paradigm that explains why the GOP on Capitol Hill and the Obama administration are still fixated on regime change rather than regional stability, why the Obama administration can find no Syrian moderates to fight the war, why ISIL blew up a Russian passenger plane, why the Saudis just executed a powerful Shiite cleric only to have their embassy burned in Tehran, why Russia is bombing non-ISIL fighters and why Turkey went out of its way to shoot down a Russian jet. A million refugees now flooding into Europe are refugees of a pipeline war and CIA blundering.
Clemente compares ISIL to Colombia’s FARC — a drug cartel with a revolutionary ideology to inspire its footsoldiers. “You have to think of ISIS as an oil cartel,” Clemente said. “In the end, money is the governing rationale. The religious ideology is a tool that inspires its soldiers to give their lives for an oil cartel.”
Once we strip this conflict of its humanitarian patina and recognize the Syrian conflict as an oil war, our foreign policy strategy becomes clear. Like the Syrians fleeing for Europe, no American wants to send their child to die for a pipeline. Instead, our first priority should be the one no one ever mentions — we need to kick our Mideast oil jones, an increasingly feasible objective, as the U.S. becomes more energy independent. Next, we need to dramatically reduce our military profile in the Middle East and let the Arabs run Arabia. Other than humanitarian assistance and guaranteeing the security of Israel’s borders, the U.S. has no legitimate role in this conflict. While the facts prove that we played a role in creating the crisis, history shows that we have little power to resolve it.
As we contemplate history, it’s breathtaking to consider the astonishing consistency of which virtually every violent intervention in the Middle East since World War II by our country has resulted in miserable failure and horrendously costly blowback. A 1997 U.S. Department of Defense report found that “the data show a strong correlation between U.S. involvement abroad and an increase in terrorist attacks against the U.S.” Let’s face it; what we call the “war on terror” is really just another oil war. We’ve squandered $6 trillion on three wars abroad and on constructing a national security warfare state at home since oilman Dick Cheney declared the “Long War” in 2001. The only winners have been the military contractors and oil companies that have pocketed historic profits, the intelligence agencies that have grown exponentially in power and influence to the detriment of our freedoms and the jihadists who invariably used our interventions as their most effective recruiting tool. We have compromised our values, butchered our own youth, killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people, subverted our idealism and squandered our national treasures in fruitless and costly adventures abroad. In the process, we have helped our worst enemies and turned America, once the world’s beacon of freedom, into a national security surveillance state and an international moral pariah.
America’s founding fathers warned Americans against standing armies, foreign entanglements and, in John Quincy Adams’ words, “going abroad in search of monsters to destroy.” Those wise men understood that imperialism abroad is incompatible with democracy and civil rights at home. The Atlantic Charter echoed their seminal American idea that each nation should have the right to self-determination. Over the past seven decades, the Dulles brothers, the Cheney gang, the neocons and their ilk have hijacked that fundamental principle of American idealism and deployed our military and intelligence apparatus to serve the mercantile interests of large corporations and particularly, the petroleum companies and military contractors that have literally made a killing from these conflicts.
It’s time for Americans to turn America away from this new imperialism and back to the path of idealism and democracy. We should let the Arabs govern Arabia and turn our energies to the great endeavor of nation building at home. We need to begin this process, not by invading Syria, but by ending the ruinous addiction to oil that has warped U.S. foreign policy for half a century.

There is a dichotomy, between professing to be a Muslim, and being True Muslim in Fact, Word, and Deed. A Muslim who follows the Deen of Peace taught by a humble Prince of Piety from the Deserts of Arabia, the One and Only Beloved Prophet of Islam, Muhammad(Peace be Upon him). He promoted Peace among all his contemporaries, the Christians, the Jews, the Romans, and the rest. Muslims today follow Mammon. They are obssesed with possessions, especially a narcotic addiction to women. The sexual addictions of Muslims from the Sultan of Brunei to the Sheikhs of Saudi Kingdom to lowly laborers roaming the Thailand’s whore houses.
When there is a gap between belief and practice, new and violently fanatically reform movements are born, who distort the True Message of Islam, the Deen of Al-Salam to their own power grabbing objectives. Bin Ladin and Mulla Omer are not an anomaly, but a part of reaction, to the distortion of Islam by practicing Muslims. Instead of living in Peace with Ahl-Kitab and other minorities, these reactionaries want to shoove down the throat of others, their own version of distorted doctrine, which is light years away from trur teachings of Islam, as taught by Allah, to the simple Man of Peace, Nabi-i-Karim (SAW).
Arab Playboys Ship $80 Million Worth of Supercars to London for the Summer
A cabal of mega-rich Arab playboys have made London the world’s supercar capital this summer, shipping an estimated $80 million worth of eye-popping vehicles to the city while waiting out the heat in their homeland. The bored billionaires get their kicks by racing around London’s crowded streets, the London Sun reports. Bugatti Veyrons have been seen cruising in Knightsbridge and Mayfair, and both the Bugatti a Pagani Zonda Cinque, one of only five in the world, are often parked at the Dorchester Hotel where some of the super-rich studs are staying. Rolls-Royces, custom Mercedes-McLaren SLRs, Lamborghinis, Koenigseggs, Ferraris and more are commonplace in certain posh neighborhoods.
“Forget Monaco or Monte Carlo – London is now the supercar capital,” Matt Master of Top Gear tells the paper. “Most owners are in their 20s or early 30s and from amazingly rich families. The amount of Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Bugattis with UAE plates is unbelievable.” Most do 200 mph-plus but they have to drive them around in first gear, though some cut loose and take the consequences – check out a video of one man being pulled over in a pink Lamborghini amidst a number of other exotics after the jump. Others like the supercars belonging to Qatar’s Royal Family get “clamped” by the cops. Given the fact that the cars had to be flown to London from the UAE, the sheer amount of money being wasted is simply stupendous:

SAUDI PRINCES’
GLOBAL PROSTITUTION RINGS AND
INTERNATIONAL CHILD SEX SLAVE TRADE
INTRODUCTION
Recently we had a chat with a person who insisted that, as a rule, whatever is taught in the grand mosques of Makka and Madina by Saudi Arabian Government is Islam.
We tried to explain him, citing Islamic history and how these sacred places were occupied by Najdi feudal Lords Sauds on the back of a Salafi frenzy created by Abd al-Wahhab and British Government’s military support who conspired with Sauds to destroy Islamic Khilafah.Read more about Saudi Royal Family.
During the conversation we realized that it is important to write an Article about moral and financial corruption and un-Islamic deeds of Saudi Princes and their Government so that people realize that Salafism is not Islam, rather it is a political ideology to keep the power and wealth in the hands of Saudi Royal family.
Some people may argue that now-a-days almost all countries in the world are facing unchecked corruption by the ruling politicians. Saudis are not the first one who started this trend.
Their argument is valid. We do agree with this line of thinking. Corrupt politicians, Kings or dictators impose on people, their self concocted theories and try to relate it to religion to usurp power, plunder wealth, create a fear psycho among people and take advantage of people’s vulnerabilities.
Some people say that Mutawwas (Saudi Religious Police) are nothing but Government paid informers, well connected with General Intelligence Directorate (Saudi Secret Service), assigned to keep an eye on individual members of public and help Saudi Royals to remain in power. They are trained to keep an eagle’s eye on public activities and close their eyes completely from the members of Royal family. Mutawwas work under the network of Government run Salafi Dawa Centers whose responsibility is to baptize people into Salafism, a political doctrine imposed on people in the name of Islam.
Some people say that Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی) has chosen Saudi Royal family to take care of the two Grand Mosques in Makka and Madina, therefore Salafism should not be treated as a political doctrine away from Islam.
Those who talk like this are unaware of the history of Islam. At the time of Advent of Prophet Mohammad ( صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) Ka’ba was under the occupation of Pagan Idol worshipers. As a matter of fact 360 Idols were kept around it which were worshiped by them. Similar is the situation now.
We all know, Salafis are Sky Idol God worshipers. They worship a Sky Idol who has eyes, face, hands and a huge human like physical body and who is sitting on the skies. To legitimize their Idol worship, they misinterpret Quranic verses and Ahadith. They have occupied Islamic heartland and the grand mosques of Makka and Madina in 1925 and are propagating their Salafi /Wahhabi theories in the world as Islamic teachings. Read more…
Therefore, occupation of grand mosques in Makka and Madina is not a testimony that the occupiers follow Islam.
Also, read this Article, you will be aghast to see the black deeds of Saudi Royal family. They are involved in all kinds of vices anyone could think of under the sun. Looking at them, how can one believe that they are the chosen ones to serve the grand mosques and Islam.
In any case, we would like to reiterate that we are not against any Government or any ruling individual in the world, including Saudi Royal family. Similarly, we are not against any Scholar, as a person, (Ahle Sunnah, Salafi or Shia) in the world. We wish and pray for every individual good in both the lives.
However, we identify the shortcomings of people in order that they realize it and work for their improvement for the good of their people and their salvation in this world and in Hereafter. If they agree, it is fine, and if they do not agree, it is also fine. Our job is to counsel with good intention and pray for their good.
Also, it is important to note that progressive societies take criticism positively as it helps them to correct their shortcomings and serve people better.
The Article has been divided into 4 parts: (1) Introduction, (2)Saudi Royal’s Prostitution Rings, (3) Saudi Royal’s Child Sex Slave Trade, and (4) Brief historical background of Saudi Royal family. The allegations are substantiated by published data which establishes the pattern of abuse using documented occurrence where the princes and their associates have been caught.
The Article is completely based on published information available in public domain on Internet and print media. We have described what is already known to billions of people around the Globe. We have provided the sources of information throughout the Article.
We regret for some terms used in the Article. We had to keep them, unwillingly though, as it is reported in Newspapers, Magazines and Internet. The problem is, when we quote a source, we need to keep the information and its wording as it is.
As usual, the Article is completely unbiased and we have refrained from giving our opinions throughout the Article.
SAUDI ROYALS’ PROSTITUTION RINGS
It is an open secret in Washington that the State Department is extremely sensitive to criticism of its actions regarding Saudi Arabia and its Princes. It is alleged that there are issues related to Saudi Royals which are so embarrassing to Washington that these must be kept secret from public domain.
The sensitivities of the US State Department are confirmed by the following BBC obituary on the death of King Fahd of Saudi Arabia.
BBC OBITUARY – KING FAHD – “Monday, August 1, 2005 – King Fahd (1921-2005) ascended to Saudi Throne in 1982. He had a reputation as a playboy in his youth, with allegations of excessive womanizing, drinking and gambling.
Indeed, it is claimed that he once lost more than $6m in one night at the Monte Carlo casino. There was a joke that new Cadillac made-to-order cars were dumped as soon as their ashtrays were full. King Fahd himself amassed a personal fortune estimated at $18bn“.
He was known for his extravagant vacations in Spain’s Costa del Sol. The posh resort town of Marbella is where he built his magnificent palace named “Mar Mar”, and each year for a month or more he would stay there. Luxury villas and hundreds of rooms in five-star hotels would be reserved for his entourage, and hundreds of millions dollars would be spent by the King and his Royals. Read more …

King Abdullah Popping Viagra at 92
Matt Cantor, Newser Staff reporter posted on September 8, 2011 a WikiLeaks release saying King Abdullah bin Abdulazia isn’t letting age slow him down.
The King is a decade older than the US thought he was. Even at 92, he hadn’t given up on romance, though he needed a little boost from Viagra. The US State Department telegram from 2008 says King Abdullah was born in 1916; at the time of the telegram, he remained a smoker and got regular hormone shots, it said.
The information in the telegram came from a Western health expert involved with the Saudi royal family, Ynet reports. The source was in Saudi Arabia to care for one of Abdullah’s wives, but in a mix-up, he got the king’s records. Before getting the telegram, the US had guessed that Abdullah’s age was between 82 and 87. But it was revealed that he was 92 years old. Read more …
Dancing with teenage girls and boys.Watch this video clip where King Abdullah or may be a high ranking Saudi Royal (we are not sure) is reportedly dancing on the street with young teenage girls who are wearing Jeans and T-Shirts; some of them are in Abaya with open hairs, faces and hands. Many boys are also dancing along with these girls.
The most disturbing thing in the video is that the girls in western outfits are using Kalima Tayyiba in their dance and putting it on their backs, which is touching and covering their bums and legs while they are dancing along with boys. The Kalima Tayyiba has Allah’s (سبحانہ و تعا لی) and Prophet Mohammad (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) names. This is open and blatant disrespect of Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی), Prophet Mohammad (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) and Islam in the hands of Salafis.
Also, look at the dancing steps and his spinning head of the Saudi Royal in the video. Is he under alcohol influence? May be or may be not. However, one thing looks certain that King Abdullah drinks wine, because he is shown toasting wine glass with George Bush in the following Video.
A US national wrote on December 9, 2010 – QUOTE – “I worked in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for four years. Once, when I was driving a Saudi colleague to the airport, I watched this line of trucks parked at a Royal 737 on the tarmac and unloading boxes and boxes of stuff. I was told by the fella I was with (a Saudi army Captain) that it was the King and his clan replenishing the booze and fancy food stocks that were running low – the plane had flown to the UK empty just to pick up the stocks for the Royal turd and his Princes. LOL. What hypocrites!” UNQUOTE – Read full story..
Readers may be aware that Saudi Kings are officially addressed as ‘Khadim-ul-Haramain wash Sharifain’ (the Custodians of two holy mosques in Makka and Madina).
It is not just the Kings, the Saudi Royal family as a whole is famous for their lavish spending, womanizing, drinking, gambling and other vices.

The New York Times reported on September 13, 2011 that the Spanish Judge has reopened a sexual assault case againstPrince Al-Waleed bin Talal, reviving accusations that he raped a 20-year-old model on a luxury yacht in the Spanish Mediterranean in August 2008.
The rape victim did not go public, and the original complaint appears to have remained largely unknown. The case was quietly closed in July 2010 for what a judge on the Mediterranean resort Island of Ibiza called a lack of evidence.
But on appeal, a Spanish provincial court for the Balearic Islands, which has jurisdiction over Ibiza, ordered the judge to resume investigating and to summon the prince to appear.
According to Provincial Court’s Order to reopen the case, medical tests conducted by Departments of Spain’s National Institute of Toxicology and Forensic Science turned up traces of Nordazepam (Sleep-inducing chemical), and Semen in the victim’s urine.
The victim’s lawyer, Javier Beloqui, said the tests supported her claim that her drink had been spiked and that she was sexually assaulted. He called on Prince Al-waleed to provide at least a DNA test in order to compare it with the traces of semen found. Read more…

Prince Nayef bin Fawwaz Al Shalaan moved two tons of cocaine from Colombia to an airport outside Paris, using his diplomatic status and a royal family 727 jet, U.S. and French law enforcement authorities told ABC News. He is under indictment by U.S. and French authorities, but living outside the reach of American law in Saudi Arabia, according to Raffanello. The United States and Saudi Arabia have no extradition treaty. A trial for the prince’s alleged co-conspirators is scheduled to begin in a federal court in Miami. Prince Al-Shalaan also has an earlier drug charge — he was indicted in Mississippi on narcotics charges in 1984, and remains a fugitive in that case as well, according to the DEA.
Fabrice Monti, a former French police investigator, said the powerful Saudi Interior Minister, Prince Nayef bin Abdel Aziz, actually threatened to cancel certain business deals with the French government if the narcotics investigation of a fellow prince continued. “The Saudi government acts as one to set up a protective barrier between the Prince and French justice and threatened to not sign a very important and lucrative contract in the works for a very long time,” said Fabrice Monti, who has written a book on the subject. May 17, 2006 – The world’s largest modeling agency has launched an investigation into allegations that senior staff pressured girls as young as 13 into sex and drugs. Several senior executives at Elite Model Management, which represents the super models Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford, have been suspended following the allegations, filmed by an undercover BBC crew. The Mac Intyre Undercover program on BBC1 on Tuesday night showed Gerald Marie, the European president of Elite, saying that he was planning to have sex with girls in a modeling competition final. The average age of the girls was 15.
Mr. Marie, the ex-husband of Linda Evangelista, was filmed propositioning Lisa Brinkworth, an investigative reporter, when she was posing as a model. “I give you one million lire (£300) if you sleep with me,” he is said to have told her. The documentary claimed that two employees had been suspended after boasting about their sexual exploits with younger models. John Casablancas, the chairman of Elite, issued an “unreserved apology for the behavior of his staff captured in the documentary, saying that it showed “some of the darkest aspects of the modeling industry. Marilyn Models, a French agency, had attempted to prevent the documentary from being screened, but a court rejected the agency’s argument that it breached privacy laws. SAUDI ROYALS’ CHILD SEX SLAVE TRADE
Human slavery, in various formats, is widespread in Saudi society even today. Saudi Arabia was among the last nations who, under pressure from United Nations, outlawed slavery in 1962. However, only 10,000 slaves were freed in 1962 and remaining large number was kept captive. In 1965 the Saudis were reported to have kept hundreds of slaves for each member of the Royal family.
With respect to human trafficking, Saudi Arabia was designated, together with Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and some other countries as a Tier 3 country by the US State Department in its 2005 ‘Trafficking in Persons Report’ required by the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000. Tier 3 countries are “countries whose governments do not fully comply with the maximum standards and are not making significant efforts to do so.” In 2006, 2007 and 2008 Reports, the US State Department continues to designate Saudi Arabia as a Tier 3 country. Homaidan Al-Turki is not an isolated case. It is reported that thousands of young women are lured to Saudi Arabia every year from all parts of the world for better life, but they end up as sex slaves.
Many in Saudi Arabia, including their religious Wahhabi clerics advocate human slavery. Shaikh Saleh Al-Fawzan,currently member of the Permanent Committee for Islamic Research and Fatawa, Saudi Arabia’s highest religious establishment, is reported to have advocated for human slavery by saying “Slavery is a part of Islam”, and that those Muslims who oppose slavery “are ignorant, not scholars”.
Saudi Royals are famous for clandestine purchasing of large number of Child Sex Slaves in the world. Earlier, these slaves were procured from Africa and poor Asian countries. However, with the current inflow of oil wealth, Saudi Princes have extended their slave purchases all over the world. Oil wealth has enabled them to become more selective and specialized in Child Sex Slave purchases in the high end European and North American market.
The Middle East Times reported that“Saudi Princes dehumanize child sex slaves obtained through their sex rings by demeaning them and calling them whores so as not to come into conflict with Saudi religious tenets“.
Saudi Government claims their country is free from Slavery but are hesitant to allow international scrutiny of their claim. They continue to refuse to sign United Nations treaties on slavery and human rights abuses, probably because they do not want to be covered under these obligations. They have not signed any extradition treaty even with United States to protect members of Royal family being extradited out of Saudi Arabia for their alleged sex crimes. Watch this shocking Video.

The Middle East Times reported:“There’s no capability for reform, no strong character to stop the Princes from corruption. They are so used to spending huge amounts of money. You couldn’t tell them — you don’t need 20 whores for the night, just one or two. Or you’ve got 20 whores in the palace, do you need to get two or three whores for every one? Someone like Prince Bishai Bin Abdulaziz; try to stop him and he’ll come and kill you.The Saudi princes dehumanize child sex slaves obtained through their sex rings by demeaning them and calling them whores so as not to come into conflict with Saudi religious tenets“.
The Committee for the Defense of Legitimate Rights in Saudi Arabia based in London through their Saudi dissident leader Mr Masari said: One Regional Governor, whom he accused of tolerating drug users and child sex rings, Prince Mohammed bin Fahd, Governor of the Eastern Province has been accused by the Al Saud newsletter of condoning sex slavery within his administered area. It is reported that Governor Prince Mohammed is an active participant in the child sex rings of the Eastern Province. He has parties for his friends with child sex as the main entertainment. Governor Prince Mohammed likes Hollywood where there are many boys and girls from which to entice into becoming sex slaves in Saudi Arabia under the ruse of film and modeling contracts. These sex slaves are allegedly sold and resold until they are used up whereupon they are helicoptered over Rubal Khali and dumped.
Saudi Prince Saud Abdulaziz bin Nasser Al-Saud killed his male black Sex Slave in Landmark Hotel, London.
The killer Prince (in the picture) tried in vain to hide his homosexuality from the British Court and had been filmed on a closed-circuit camera, mercilessly beating his Sex Slave Bandar Abdulaziz in a London Hotel elevator.
The Sex Slave had so many internal injuries, including bleeding on the brain and a fractured larynx, that pathologists could not pinpoint the precise cause of death after his body was found in the posh Landmark Hotel.
Prince Saud Abdulaziz bin Nasser Al-Saud is not an stray case of Saudi Royals’ homosexuality. It is reported that there is a huge majority of Princes who opt for young boys.

On 26th August, 2005, an American national wrote his own true story on a Website Forum about Child Sex Trade in Saudi Arabia, as follows:
QUOTE – And boys, lots of boys… I know this is fact cuz in my late teens I work for a Saudi who owned a large construction business and other ventures, basically he was loaded… He took a liking to me and on a few occasions I would go to his house to do some minor repairs…The man, I kid you not, had solid gold chandeliers, Persian rugs worth more $ than any of us would make here in 5 yrs, had every luxury you could think of….
He also had a ivory box filled with hash and huka pipes etc . One day he came out right and asked me if I would like to go live in Arabia and that he knows Princes there that would give me a life I could only dream of. I said bullshit so he actually called up a man and said here ask him yourself. I say hello and I ask the guy are you a real prince? He has this laugh and say´s in pretty good English “yes I am a prince” and then I hear him say something to people in the back ground and there´s laughing.Anyways I ask him if he lived in a palace? he laughs again and say´s he lives an a palace as big as ten palaces! Anyways I said I´ll think about it, in reality there was no way I was going.. The guy´s place I was at showed me pictures of who I spoke to and sure enough the man looked like a Saudi Prince. I found out from Fred that Saudi has Thousands of princes, they have so much money they don’t know what to do with it. The palaces I saw in the pictures of his friends made American rich peoples homes look like shack´s. Amazing shit!Anyways I said ‘nah’ on going, he asked me a few more times after that and kept reiterating about a life I could only dream of etc. If I was a little homo may be I would have gone, but I’m not gay and I probably end up tortured and dead. There is a thriving industry of international child sex slavery within the United States and it has gone unabated for decades covered up by the assertiveness of Washington lobbyists representing the perpetrating countries, particularly Saudi Arabia. Saudi princes are the high end buyers in the US child sex slave market and demand the best product.
Time and again, the US media reports scandals when slaves of Saudi princes and their procurers brought into the United States, try to escape.
People in US initially came to know of non-parental child abductions when a US citizen enslaved and tortured by late King Fahd’s nephews was told by a guard in their palace prison the last person to inhabit his cell was a “US girl child whore slave”.
Soon, the extensive nature of abductions of US children living with their parents, for the purpose of sale to Saudi Princes, came to light in US media.
How does the US Sex Slave Trade operate?
The National Center for Missing & Exploited children reports:“Child pornographers (and pimps), like other sex offenders, look for victims in places where youth gather: shopping malls, fast food establishments, non-alcoholic clubs, video game arcades, bus stations and through unethical ‘modeling’ agencies. The fact that juveniles are being recruited from the community both for pornography and prostitution is most disturbing … runaways were spotted by pimps loitering in bus stations who approached the teenagers almost as they exited the buses… A primary method of procuring a juvenile for prostitution is through the use of feigned friendship and love. … They (procurers) evaluate what the young woman needed, created the dependency, and then took advantage of that dependency…. if a teenager was a runaway the pimp would find shelter for her… Through practice, many child molesters have developed a real knack for spotting vulnerable victims.“
The above is a favored recruitment method commonly used by procurers to obtain children of both sexes for sale. As the most prominent high end purchasers within the international child sex industry are Saudi princes, their demands are met in many ways.
Saudi princes are also reported to place “special order for children” through a picture of the child in a media or give a description of a desired child. In these cases the child is “snatched” from their parents or escorts in front of their houses; coming from school or at a store. It is believed that the child reaches Saudi Arabia before the local police develops a search procedure.
Saudi special orders for Child Slaves are placed in various cities with their local procurers from the barrios of Brazil, London’s Leicester Square, Paris’s Place de Pompidou and many such posh areas in the world. Due to the recent lax border regulations in Scandinavia, the Princes now get their fair haired child sex slaves from immigrant procurers. In the United States shopping malls, amusement parks and video parlors are prowled by procurers. The Princes not only do not like dealing with regular elements of the international child sex industry such as the street procurers but see the danger of the media picking their activities up, hence they started their own modeling agencies. The Saudi modeling ring recruit male and female models for some shoot in a distant land never to be heard of again.
The Pedophile Princes
Many of theSaudi Princes would definitely be considered pedophiles and child molesters if subject to the laws of the United States. Within their own country they would probably not be prosecuted as pedophiles. When a Saudi Prince abducts a child from the US, once in Saudi Arabia the child is considered his total responsibility to do with what he may.
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children further reports; “Pimps placed legitimate advertisements in newspapers and interviewed women for secretarial positions. They told female applicants that no job was available or that it had already been filled. They, then attempted to date the applicants. With continued contact the pimp worked on the woman’s weaknesses and tried to find out if she needed large sums of money.
The pimps also placed advertisements for dancers, models or escort services. Showcasing was another technique in which applicants performed acts that were videotaped. While videotaping, the pimps try to discover if the young women were interested in making large sums of money. They (procurers) wanted to be identified as mind controllers, experts in understanding the vulnerabilities and dependencies of women and men“.
With quality product in hand, procurers will then send videos to Saudi Princes to meet their purchase orders. Once the Saudi Prince approves the child, he may ask that delivery be made near his plane in order to make a swift exit to Saudi Arabia.
It is alleged that late King Fahd’s sons’ control their child sex ring from their Beverly Hills palaces.
However, they learned from Al-Fassi palace sex scandals in Beverly Hills during the 1980’s and now rent motels away from their palaces to conduct orgies with children procured for them.
Around these motels they have a cordon of US security guards. An inner cordon is made up of the princes’ body guards, usually foreign. The younger the child the more desirable. These children are brought up through the sex ring channel to the point of purchase under the modeling or acting ruses of going to a shoot or set in Saudi Arabia. Upon purchase, children are then taken by limousine directly to the Saudi prince’s plane at Los Angeles airport. Using their diplomatic immunity, they manage to circumvent customs and immigration which allows them to ship their child sex slaves out of the US without the need of the customary passport. The children are then escorted directly onto the Saudi prince’s plane and flown to Saudi Arabia never to be seen again.
What happens to these large number of Child Sex Slaves in Saudi Arabia? Once they are used up and their short shelf life is over, they are disposed off mysteriously. Some people say they are helicoptered and dumped in desolate places in Rubal Khali Desert.
Life Magazine reports; “former Miss USA Shannon Marketic, in a recent lawsuit, claims she was imprisoned. She had gone there for what she believed was legitimate modeling work paying $3,000 per day … she tried to leave and was forbidden.”
In Miss USA’s law suite, she said, upon arriving, she was given a physical exam by a doctor ostensibly for country health regulations. Soon after, she was given clothes to wear for the evening. She said she was escorted to a room where she, all of a sudden felt drowsy and fell asleep. She awoke to find her clothes rearranged upon her body, like somebody had removed them and then redressed her.
We know from the Center for Missing and Abused Children that pedophiles keep photo/video libraries of their victims. It is reasonable to believe there are naked pictures/videos of Miss USA taken without her knowledge while unconscious. Even so, she was one of the lucky girls being high profile and whose parents knew of her whereabouts.
Washington still denies the international child sex rings prey upon US children. US based child abduction organizations funded by Washington will not admit on record to the international child sex rings preying upon US children for fear of loosing their funding. An old Washington maxim is: “He who controls the investigation wins.” Miss USA lost her law suit because the State Department granted Immunity.
The abducted children and their parents always lose out to foreign policy considerations of the politicians and their lobbyist associates who represent countries like Saudi Arabia. When members of an international sex ring are caught, Washington allows them freedom from criminal and civil actions by either giving them diplomatic immunity, retroactive diplomatic immunity or other State Department protection under the Foreign Sovereign Immunity Act.
US Models disappear one after the other
A new model comments: “At first I shared an apartment with two other models, one … I forget what her name was, who was there for three weeks and then she was gone. Disappeared … I know what I was getting myself into. I wasn’t like the naive girl from Podunk that came in and got drugged at a party and sold to the Arabs!
“Another international model disappeared on a (film) shoot with a nonexistent Saudi Arabian magazine, ending up who knows where? Middle East businessmen, and others get into the relatively small-time modeling game where most of the abuse occurs.”

THE ORIGIN AND
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF
SAUDI ROYAL FAMILY
Historians have traced that the Sauds belonged to Anza tribewho were settled in Najd around 1450 AD. It is said that Sauds were originally Jews and shrewd Feudal Lords.
King Faisal (1906-1975), who ruled the Kingdom between 1964-75, confirmed Jewish ancestry of Saudi Royals. In an interview to Washington post on September 17, 1969, King Faisal is reported to have said “We, the Saudi family are cousins of the Jews.
We entirely disagree with any Arab or Muslim Authority which shows any antagonism to the Jews; but we must live together with them in peace. Our country (Arabia) is the Fountain head from where the first Jew sprang, and his descendants spread out all over the world.” Read more…..
At a wider scale, the above statement can also be interpreted that since Jews are the descendants of Prophet Isaac ( علیھ السلا م ) and Arabs are the descendants of Prophet Ismail ( علیھ السلا م ), this way they are cousins.
It is reported that Saudi Royal family trusts Israeli and US mercenaries as their personal body Guards : US and Israeli mercenary security personnel working for private contractors are allegedly used by Saudi Royal family to guard Saud family Princelings. This Praetorian Guards use balaclava (face cover) and other disguises during security operations which allows for anonymity.Read more…..
Saudi Royal’s Jewish ancestry is also confirmed from the fact that they have destroyed and eliminated the entire Islamic Heritage and established Salafism, a new religion in Arabian Peninsula. Read more .
Ibn Abd al-Wahhab
Ibn Abd al-Wahhab (1703-1799), born in Uyayna in Najd, belonged to Banu Tamim Tribe. He studied in his childhood from his father. Later, he spent some time in Basra, Southern Iraq from where he traveled to Makka and Madina. All historians agree that his new thinking of rebellion against Islam was developed when he was in Basra. By the time he returned to his native town Uyayna in 1740 he had completely transformed into a rebel against Islam. He started propagating his new ideology claiming that the entire population of Muslims of Arabian Peninsula and that of the world was Mushrikeen and that what he was preaching was real Islam.
It is reported that initially Abd al-Wahhab managed to convert Uyayna’s Town In-charge Uthman Ibn Mu’ammar into his new religion and with his support started implementing his new ideology in the town by force. The first evil act committed by Ibn Abd al-Wahhab was, by conspiring with Ibn Mu’ammar, one night, he destroyed the Dome and pious grave of Hadhrat Zayd Ibn al-Khattab (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) who was Sahabi of Prophet Mohammad (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) and brother of Hadhrat Umer Ibn al-Khattab (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ), the second Caliph of Islam. Destruction of the Dome and his anti-Islam activities in collusion with local Town In-Charge drew the attention of Sulaiman Ibn Mhammad of Bani Khalid, the Tribal Chief of Al-Hasa who was a good Muslim. He ordered the arrest of Ibn Abd al-Wahhab. The news reached Ibn Abd al-Wahhab in time and he fled from Uyayna. Read more…
Brief History of Sauds
Mohammad Ibn Saud was a shrewed tribal Lord of neighboring Diriyya, Najd who cared more about power, money and women, as had been the case with most of the feudal lords in medieval times. He gave protection to Ibn Abd al-Wahhab and quickly envisioned the possibility of forming a State in Arabian Peninsula based on Wahhabism, the new religious theory preached Ibn Abd al-Wahhab.
Thus, the first Saudi State came into being in the year 1744 AD (1157 AH) when Ibn Abd al-Wahhab and Mohammad Ibn Saud formed an alliance and hatched a political conspiracy to establish a State based on Wahhabism, away from Islam. To cement the alliance further Ibn Saud’s sister was married to Ibn Abd al-Wahhab. As per the terms of alliance, Ibn Abd al-Wahhab became de facto Minister for Religious Affairs whose job was to convert people into the new religion and create religious fanaticism in masses. The plan was to use newly converted religious fanatics to expand Sauds’ territory and eventually form a large Saudi State in Arabian Peninsula.
The following 190 years, between 1744-1932, Sauds fought wars with all Muslim rulers of Arabian Peninsula and were finally successful in wiping out Islam and Muslims from Arabian Peninsula in 1932 when Abdul Aziz declared himself as King of the newly formed state of ‘Saudi Arabia’.
Currently Sauds are planning to expand their territory into major part of the Globe using religious fanaticism of their scholars, particularly Dr. Zakir Naik. Read more …
It is in Hadith – ‘A person with eyes protruding, with a long beard and head clean-shaven (named Zul-Khawaisara who was from the tribe of Banu Tamim) came to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) and declared: ‘O Muhammad! (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) fear Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی). ‘ The Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) replied: ‘If I disobey Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی) then who else will obey Him? I am obedient to Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی) at all times and never disobedient. Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی) has sent me as Amin (Honest for the entire world, but you don’t accept me as an honest man? A Sahabi (Hadhrat Umer – رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ ) became infuriated and sought permission to remove him from the presence of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم). The Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) prevented him from doing so. After the person had left, the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم)said: ‘From his progeny (descendants) will rise a Group who will recite the Holy Quran but it will not go below their throats. They will leave the Deen (Islam) just as an arrow leaves the bowstring. They will kill Muslims but spare the idolaters. If I ever confronted these people I would slaughter them just as the people of Aad had been destroyed’. (Mishkat, pp – 535).
Since Ibn Abd al-Wahhab also belonged to Banu Tamim, therefore, as per the above Hadith, he is indeed from the direct descendants of Zul Khawaisara. There cannot be two opinions in this context.
Imam Bukhari has quoted this Hadith from Abdullah Ibn Umar (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) that Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم)once prayed for Syria and Yemen. It is narrated that there were some people of Najd also present in the gathering and they requested the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) to make supplication (du’a) for Najd also. Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم)continued saying: ‘O! Allah, Shower Blessings on Syria and Yemen’. The people of Najd again requested the Prophet(صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) to offer prayers for Najd. The Prophet(صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) said: ‘It is a place of tremor and mischief (Fitna) and the Horn of Shaitaan will rise from there.’(Bukhari, Vol – ii, P – 1050).
The above Hadith clearly specifies following conclusive points.
It is abundantly clear that the place called Najd is not blessed from Islamic point of view as Prophet Mohammad (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) called it a place of Fitna and Evil.
When we look at the geographical position of Najd, it lies to the East of Madina. In other Ahadith, it is mentioned that Prophet Mohammad (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) pointed his hand towards the East and said, ‘there, that is the direction from where Fitna will emerge.
This place is deprived of the prayers of Prophet Mohammad (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) .
Hoping of any Islamic good coming out of this place is against the Will of Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی).
In these circumstances, the Wahhabism or Salafism coming out of this place cannot be good or virtuous. As per Prophet’s (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) prophecy this religion is tribulation and fitna in Islam. We pray Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی) to safeguard us from this Fitna.
The Arabic word used in the above Hadith is ‘Qarnush Shaitaan’, (horn of Shaitaan) which indeed refers to Ibn Abd al-Wahhab. However, in Misbahul Lughaat (page 663) (the dictionary used by Salafis/Deobandis, etc.) the meaning of this word is written as ‘One who follows the advice of Satan’. Therefore, as per the Hadith, Ibn Abd al-Wahhab and his devotees (Salafis) are the followers of Satan.
For the past 100 years, this tribulation (Fitna) has gradually swept the entire world. Millions of innocent Muslims have become victims of this movement. Wahhabis /Salafis and their like minded groups have mislead millions of innocent Muslims with the slogans of Shirk, Kufr, Biddah, etc.

In 1901, Abdul Aziz returned to Najd and with the help of Kuwaitis, recaptured Riyadh from Al-Rashids.
Later on, with the help of British Government, he established his hold on entire Arabian Peninsula over a period of 30 years. In 1932 he formally declared himself King.
These 30 years saw several hundred thousands Muslims killed, all traces of traditional Islam erased and over 60,000 sacred graves of Sahabah, members of Prophet’s (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم)family destroyed and their pious bodies disposed off mysteriously by Abdul Aziz forces. The Sauds’ goal is to erectgleaming, high-tech relics commemorating King Abdul Aziz and the ancestors of Saudi Royal family.
The other important goal of the Saud family is to eliminate the last remaining trace of Islam from Arabia, ie., the Green Dome of Prophet Mohammad ( صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) along with his pious grave. Read more …
It is reported that, during the last expansion of Prophet’s ( صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) mosque in late 1980s, Saudis have structurally partitioned the Green Dome from the rest of the Mosque in preparation for razing it into rubble by a powerful dynamite.
A pamphlet published in 2007 by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and endorsed by their Grand Mufti reads: “The green dome shall be demolished and the three graves flattened in the Prophet’s ( صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) Mosque.” The demolition of the Green Dome has already been checked off “to-do list”. Even the pious body of Prophet Mohammad ( صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم), who is ‘Rahmtul lil Aalameen for the worlds, along with the pious bodies of his two prominent companions is now slated to disappear under the rubble and dust. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.
We pray for Allah’s (سبحانہ و تعا لی)help to stop Saudis from eliminating Islam and humiliating Prophet Mohammad ( صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) in this manner.
We hope followers of Salafism in the world will think about these undeniable facts and come back to the straight path of Islam for their own good in this life and in Hereafter. Read more …
Income and Privileges of Saudi Princes
In late 1960s King Faisal issued a decreethat every inch of the country that was not officially registered to a private individual belonged to the Saudi royal family. Thus the entire country is treated as private property of the Royal family.
The King distributed much of the land to royal family members. Princes sold some of the land back to the state and some to the public, but most they kept for themselves. Inside major cities or out in the remote desert, the country’s vast landmass remains private property of the Princes now numbering over 5000. They also treat entire Saudi oil revenues as their private wealth. Watch this Video Clip
Every Prince is entitled to a monthly salary starting the date of his birth. The closer the relation to Late King Abdul Aziz, the higher is the salary. Like, immediate descendants of late King Abdul Aziz receive a 7 digit (millions) salary each month. The Princes are paid separate Salary for each of their official position. Like Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, reportedly holds over 60 separate positions in addition to chairing dozens committees, entitling him to separate salary for every position. Governors are entitled to a special additional payment of SR 1 billion annually to be used at their discretion. In addition, every Prince is entitled to a Luxurious Private Palace or money to build the Palace of his choice, as well as cash from birth to buy expensive cars and other luxuries. Literally every thing is supplied to the Prince free from the State, like electricity, water, medical, security, education, etc. All State developmental contracts are essentially awarded to the companies owned by the Princes. Similarly, their business establishments and other incomes are free from State control and taxes. Anything coming into Saudi Arabia under the name of a Prince via Air or Sea is not checked by any Government Agency. Read more…

The Hypocrites, men and women, (have an understanding) with each other: They enjoin evil, and forbid what is just, and are close with their hands. They have forgotten Allah; so He hath forgotten them. Verily the Hypocrites are rebellious and perverse.
The Western World wonders, why Osama Bin Ladin and his ilk found fertile ground to recruit terrorists from the Muslim World?
The Muslim youth is disillusioned and has begun the question the vast gulf between “Kaul (belief),” and “Fail(act);” in many so called Muslim countries. Some of them have been turning to bizarre and extreme sects instead of following the tenets of Qu’ran and sunnah. Islamic Renaissance needs to occur at this juncture. It has been too long, Muslim societies have been wandering aimlessly, like ships without a rudder. The current spate of Islamic thought leaders are straddling too extreme. Islam is a Deen of Moderation. It is the Middle Path, between extremes. It is a magnet which attracts the human spirit,. It has simple set of core values, underlying which is the Glory of One Creator, a Respect for All Creatures Great and Small, and a responsibility towards all Creation, from trees to mountains to rivers, in short the whole environment. The gulf between the teachings of Islam and its followers has widened into a chasm. The Muslim world has to do a reality check, on what it believes, and how it puts those beliefs to practice. Hypocrisy or Munafiqat is a bigger sin, than not following Beliefs at all. Muslims need to do an introverted examination of their own lives. They need to look at the mirror and say if they are being truthful to the teachings of the Greatest Man, the Deserts of Arabia ever produced? Is Islam of today living up to its name? Or is it followed in name only? Can the Muftis, Shaikhs and Alims of today, hold a candle to Imam Ghazali? Are the covenants with Allah Almighty, as embodied in the Glorious Qu’raan, being observed or are of they of the munafiqeen (hypocrites); whom the Prophet (PBUH) vehemently despised and eventually defeated. The Arab society, where Islam had its genesis are wallowing in depravity, due to influx unimaginable wealth, generated by the Oil Industry. Those who rode camels, a few decades ago, now ride Ferraris and Lmborghinis, even though Almighty Allah has warned Muslims, not to be mesmerized by the GLITTER, of this World. But, treat your fellow man with kindness and generosity to inherit the Rewards of the Hereafter.
Here is a Muslim answer to the West, unknowingly or deliberately, the West is creating islands of enormous wealth among Arab nations, while the rest of the Muslim world from Morocco to Indonesia is drowning in a sea of poverty. Poverty and Wealth Disparity breeds Terrorism. A hungry populace responds violently against an obnoxiously rich minority amongst them. Islamic countries are ruled by hypocrites, despots, and obnoxiously corrupt individuals, such as Asif Zardari, the Sheikhs of UAE, the Princes of Saudi Arabia, Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan, and Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei. If the US wants to win the hearts of minds of Muslims, it has to force these Kingdoms and Potentates like Brunei to use their wealth not only among the poor in Muslim lands, but, against the scourges of hunger, illiteracy, sex trafficking, narcotics consumption, and obnoxious display of il-lgotten wealth, around the globe. Otherwise, the next domino to fall in a Tahrir Square like event would be Saudi Arabia or UAE, but this may not happen as peacefully as Tahrir Square. It may end up like a French or Russian Revolution. It is a natural crucible for the genesis of terrorism. The nurturing of Kings, Emirs, and Sheikhs by the Western nations have provided the seeds for a backlash from the 1.2 billion Muslims living mostly in abject poverty, illiteracy, disease, hunger, and total economic disparity. The people of the Western nations must raise their voices against the pedophilia, sex trafficking and smuggling of women from Pakistan, India, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Phillipinnes, Thailand, Burma, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhistan, Hungary, Sweden, Austria, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mexico, Brazil, and a host of other nations. and the sex slavery practiced in the arc of Arab and Islamic nations from Dubai to Lebanon. It is a powder keg where movements like Tahrir Square can emerge by the hundred and drown these Dens of Iniquities like the Kingdoms of Saudi Arabia and the UAE Potentates.
DUBAI // Five men ran a brothel where runaway maids were forced to work as prostitutes, the Dubai Criminal Court of First Instance heard yesterday. The men, all Indians, identified as MN, 23; SA, 26; MB, 35; MA, 24; and SZ, 36, were all charged with human trafficking, operating a brothel, illegal confinement and aiding and abetting a crime. The group encouraged house-maids to abscond from their employers and work in prostitution, prosecutors say. An informant led police to the group and MB was brought in for questioning, the court heard. He told investigators that his job was to run and operate the brothel for MN and SA while MA and SZ supplied the girls and clientele.
Police raided the brothel on January 8 and a 20-year-old Bangladeshi girl was found in the building. The girl told police that she was brought to the country through an employment company but when she arrived was told by two men that she would be working in prostitution. The men then sold her for Dh14,000 to MN and SA, prosecutors said. The girl said she refused to work as a prostitute but MN and SA beat her, locked her up then raped her. The girl said that she was forced to cater to between 10 and 15 clients every day.

Dubai: 18-year-old Ethiopian Maid says she was Raped, Forced into Prostitution
Four charged with forcing maids into prostitution
Marie Nammour / 2 October 2012
Three Bangladeshi men and an Indonesian woman faced the charge of human trafficking in the Court of First Instance on Sunday for allegedly forcing four runaway maids into prostitution. The three men have been identified as D.H., F.A. and J.H. and the Indonesian woman as M.B.
According to prosecution records, D.H. (28) and M.B. (23) lured the maids by promising them better jobs with Dh1,500 salary and coaxed them to run away from their sponsors’ houses.
J.H. took two of them from Al Ain to D.H.’s place in Al Muraqqabat where the latter beat them with an iron rod, threatened them and forced them into prostitution. F.A. was in charge of receiving and keeping an eye on the men who came to have sex with the victims.
The four defendants are accused of running a brothel from a room in Hamdan area in Muraqqabat.
D.H. is accused of raping three of the victims after undressing and beating them up.
He raped one of them twice and breached her modesty by clicking her nude pictures against her will.
One of the victims, a 33-year-old Indonesian maid, told the prosecutor how she was deceived to runaway from her sponsor’s house in Al Ain and was brought to D.H.’s room in Muraqqabat where she saw many prostitutes, of Ethiopian, Bangladeshi and Indonesian nationalities.
She was locked up for three days and beaten with an iron rod to let D.H. have sex with her against her will. The maid managed to call her sponsor’s wife and cook, seeking their help to call the police and was released after the police raided the room.
Another Indonesia maid (26) recounted a similar story of how she was lured from her sponsor’s place and then forced into prostitution. She also said that D.H. raped her twice and filmed her after forcing her to undress.
Another maid, an 18-year-old Ethiopian, said that D.H. stripped her of her cash and mobile phone and raped her.
According to a police sergeant, in April an Emirati woman had informed them that her absconding maid was being forcefully held in a room by a Bangladeshi man who had forced her into flesh trade.
The police located the room, which was in a shared house in Al Muraqqabat and was divided into partitions made by pieces of fabrics.
D.H. admitted that he had made Dh35,000 by exploiting women in prostitution.
Prostitution ring plotted to sell ‘virginities’ of young girls to wealthy Arabs.
A prostitution ring sent a photograph of a 14 years old girl to potential customers as a bait ahead of an illicit meeting at a central London hotel in England. The gang had actually plotted to make upto $100,000 by selling the Virginities of young girls to wealthy Arabs.
The trafficking ring transported six women aged between 17 and 22 from north west to the capital last september to provide sexual exploitation. But they were trapped in a sting operation involving Scottland Yard detectives who exchanged messages with memebers under the guise of potential punters.
Four people Mahrookh Jamali,41,Sara Bordbar,43,Fatima Haghengal,24 and Rasoul Ghalampour,30,were pleaded guilty to traffic six women,They also have admitted conspiracy infront of court. However,Prosecutor Bill McGiven said the young girls were not forced into sexual services, they were asked to travel to London to dance for the clients, but were the offered the chance to sell their bodies too.
Four who have been in custody since last year, will be sentenced tomorrow.
Prostitution ring plotted to sell ‘virginities’ of young girls to wealthy Arabs.
The Corrupt Lifestyles of Brotherly Wealthy Arabs:
Gang tried to sell girls’ virginity to wealthy Arabs for £150,000
A sex trafficking gang offered to sell the virginity of underage girls to wealthy businessmen for up to £150,000 each.
The three women and a man were offering girls as young as 13 but were arrested in an undercover Scotland Yard operation after staff at a luxury hotel tipped off police.
One of the women had arrived at the Jumeirah Carlton Hotel in Knightsbridge, central London, in a silver BMW to offer the gang’s services in a handwritten letter to the owner in August last year.
Gang: Fatima Hagnegat and Mahrookh Jamali face jail after they attempted to sell the virginity of young girls to wealthy Arab businessmen for up to £150,000
It read: ‘I have 12 girls ready from the age 14-20 years, who are living all over the UK, I have spent money on the preparation of this event such as a rented house for the girls and also all expenses needed.’
Worried staff immediately alerted police who traced the car and telephone number given in the letter to an address in Wigan where Fatima Hagnegat, 24, lived with her husband, Rassoul Gholampour.
Inquires revealed that another similar letter had been delivered to the hotel on an earlier date.
Detectives then exchanged messages with the gang under the guise of potential clients. One undercover officer, known as ‘Cameron’, telephoned the mobile number provided in the letter to ask about hiring girls on behalf of a client.
Rasoul Gholampour was part of the gang
He spoke to Hagnegat’s aunt, Marohkh Jamali, 41, who told him that she could arrange a party for four to five people that night if required. She stated that she could provide girls from Iran, England and Eastern Europe aged 14 and 20.
The officer arranged to meet Jamali who told him some of her girls were virgins and could be ‘broken’ by his client. She emailed him photographs of a number of girls and said she would bring up to five girls to London, including two 13-year-olds, and would expect £50,000 to £150,000 for each.
The next day Jamali went to a different London hotel, in Bayswater, accompanied by Hagnegat and six girls, two of whom were aged 14 and 17.
The other four were 18 or older. Off icers swooped and arrested Jamali and Hagnegat.
The six victims, who had all been brought to London from the North-West of England and cannot be identified for legal reasons, were taken to a victims’ centre.
They later described how they had travelled from Wigan with the defendants on the understanding that they would be able to earn some money ‘dancing’ for a party of rich men.
It was only later, on their arrival in London, that they were told they may be asked to have sex with the men.
The gang members, all jobless and Iranian, pleaded guilty to trafficking and prostitution offences at Harrow Crown Court yesterday.
Hagnegat and Jamali, who is from North-West London, each admitted conspiracy to traffic persons within the UK for sexual exploitation and a second charge of control of prostitution for gain.
A 43-year-old woman, who owned the London flat where the victims were taken the night before they were introduced to ‘Cameron’, admitted the same two charges. She cannot be named for legal reasons.
Gholampour, 30, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to traffic persons within the UK for sexual exploitation.
A third charge of conspiracy to arrange the prostitution of children will lie on the file of all four defendants.
Prosecutor Bill McGivern said the young women were not forced into sexual services, but were ‘coerced’ into offering them after dancing for clients.
The court heard the 14-year-old girl present when police swooped was used as ‘bait’ and there was no evidence she was to be used as a prostitute.
The four gang members, who have been in custody since their arrest last year, will be sentenced today.
Last night Detective Chief Superintendent Richard Martin, head of the Metropolitan Police Service’s Human Exploitation and Organised Crime Command, said: ‘This is a sad and harrowing case.’
A recent report in The Sun entitled “ Parents sell virgins aged 12 for sex” highlights something that many may not be aware. Crime Reporter Anthony France pointed out in his article that usually foreign kids from Eastern Europe, the Far East and Africa are bought into the UK to work as sex slaves. Very seldom do you see young British girls in the sex trade.
But this is now changing. It seems that some British parents are forcing their schoolgirl daughters into prostitution and then sell them to millionaire paedophiles. A spokesman for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) said: “Unscrupulous traffickers are controlling and terrorising vulnerable children within the UK, forcing some into the sex industry and abusing and exploiting many others.”
What makes British parents willing to sell their virgin daughters for sex? The answer is obvious – MONEY! And it is really big money. A 12-year old British virgin girl can fetch up to £50,000 for having sex with the super rich Arabs.
Organized crime is of course behind this sex trade. With the amount of money involved, the gangs are prepared to peddle even younger, prepubescent girls.
Think about it. When 43-year old Indonesia Muslim cleric Syech Puji took 12-year old Lutfiana Ulfa as his second wife, and declared his intention to take another 2 young girls – 7 and 9 year old as third and fourth wives, there was an uproar throughout Indonesia and beyond. Now for the sake of big money, British parents are selling their 12-year old virgin daughters to rich arab men for sex. Who is worse? The British parents? Or Syech Puji
Dubai Prostitutes’ Earnings Soar
“Las Vegas is a sputtering 20-watt bulb compared with this fire in the desert,” wrote Vanity Fair’s Nick Tosches. Dubai is “Capitalism on Steroids” & that includes Xmas.
on Dec 15, 2007
The sex trade is alive and Ladies of the Night are flourishing in the Emirate of Dubai. Much has been written on sex trafficking around the world and Prostitution in Dubai specifically; however, little has been written from the view and attitude of a large majority of the “Business Ladies” in Dubai. A view many will find disturbing.
Willing Prostitutes
As with so much in Dubai, the world’s oldest profession has taken a turn divergent from the rest of the planet. Renowned photo-journalist Mimi Chakarova has examined the world of sex slaves, forced prostitutes and captive women for the last 4 years. She was shocked to discover what so many already knew: mostprostitutes in Dubai voluntarily perform their trade.
“When I arrived to report…I was prepared to confront…human degradation…but I was surprised to find something else. I met women working as prostitutes who told me that they were doing so because they had chosen to…. She [a prostitute] said she could earn more in one night as a prostitute than working a whole month in sales….[and] the money she sends home to Siberia has allowed her family to build a house.”
Christmas Season
The holidays are especially ripe for the business ladies in a nation that is built upon the very dichotomy that is prostitution: necessary but unwanted; illegal but desired! The “Dubai Model” brings success to an “Arab city by shearing away the qualities that have long defined it as Arab.” Legally sanctioned, illegal prostitution; morally reprehensible yet socially acceptable; completely taboo but an openly practiced profession; prostitution is the essence of the “Dubai Model.”
The wealth of Dubai seems to explode during the holidays as it does in so many other wealthy cities this time of the year. Just as merchants at Filene’s Basement and Macy’s department stores rush to sell their wares to jovial and willing customers, so too do the Business Ladies of Dubai. With 80% of the residents coming from other nations, the Ladies have a glut of celebrating customers waiting to purchase their commodities. And as with any shrewd business person, the supply demand curve is strictly adhered to.
Holiday Inflation
A survey by a local expatriate underground newspaper has determined that prices have “risen by 20-50%” the last few weeks. Research conducted by the American Center for International Policy Studies (AMCIPS) found that Eastern European (Russian) and Ethiopian women are the most common “free agent” prostitutes. Ethiopians, who in the past received 300 AED, now garner 400 for an hour’s work; a Russian’s 500 AED per hour fees a month ago now garner 700+ dirham per hour.
However individuals feel about the holidays, whether Arabic Eid or Western Christmas; Dubai is an avenue for most to increase earnings. As the Minister of Finance said in a resent interview: “You gave us capitalism: we are new to it; but we will not do anything that will jeopardize that which we have attained!” Prostitution has been an integral part of that expansion and in the view of one local Emiratee: “when the prostitutes profit, Dubai profits:” but at whose expense?
Thinking Aloud : All the king’s horses — Razi Azmi
It is hard to see how Israel can continue to defy the world and persist in its policy of aggression, annexation and occupation, even with US support. The vote count and the writing are on the wall
“Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall/ Humpty Dumpty had a great fall/ All the King’s horses and all the King’s men/ Could not put Humpty Dumpty together again.”
Substitute just a few words in this popular children’s rhyme, “Israel” for “Humpty Dumpty”, “separation wall” for “wall”, and “USA” for “King”, and what you get is history in the making. November has been a bad month for the ‘bullyboy’ of the Middle East and what I am now inclined to describe as his sidekick, the world’s lone — increasingly lonely and decreasingly powerful — superpower.
Correspondingly, it has been a good month for Palestine, no matter the 160 or so lives lost and the infrastructure destroyed in the Israeli bombardment of Gaza. Both Hamas and the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) have reason to rejoice. If Hamas won a significant military and political victory by its successful resistance to Israel’s military might, the PLO won a resounding diplomatic victory by attaining a non-member observer-state status in the UN.
The vote in the UN General Assembly was 138 in favour and only nine against. The international community overwhelmingly and emphatically said yes to Palestine despite vehement Israeli opposition and relentless US pressure. The list of the seven countries that supported the Israeli-US position makes for very sorry reading: Canada, the Czech Republic, Panama, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru and Palau.
Such prominent western-bloc (non-Muslim) nations as France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Portugal and Ireland voted for the resolution, besides Russia, China, Japan, New Zealand and 124 others. All the (staunchly Catholic) South American countries voted in support (except Colombia). Even such dependable American allies as the UK, Germany and Australia abstained rather than vote against.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “The decision at the United Nations will change nothing on the ground. It will not advance the establishment of a Palestinian state. It will delay it further.” Denigrating the vote as “meaningless”, Mr Netanyahu accused Mr Abbas of spreading “mendacious propaganda” against Israel in a “defamatory and venomous” speech. Defamatory and venomous? Mahmood Abbas? Judge for yourself.
Speaking at the UN, Mr Abbas said, “We did not come here seeking to delegitimise a state established years ago, and that is Israel; rather we came to affirm the legitimacy of the state that must now achieve its independence, and that is Palestine.” The world was being asked to undertake a significant step in the process of rectifying the “unprecedented historical injustice” inflicted on the Palestinian people since 1948, the Palestinian president added.
In comments to the EU foreign policy chief, Catherine Ashton, Israeli Foreign Minister Avigor Lieberman went so far as to threaten the dismantling of the Palestinian Authority if it went to the UN.
And what does Washington think of this historic vote? US Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice said: “Today’s grand pronouncements will soon fade and the Palestinian people will wake up tomorrow and find that little about their lives has changed save that the prospects of a durable peace have only receded.”
Lest you have not noticed Ms Rice, the Palestinian people have woken up every morning, 6,636 mornings to be exact, since the much-heralded Oslo Peace Accords signed under your government’s auspices in Washington on September 13, 1993, to find themselves under the boot of the Israeli army and at the mercy of armed Jewish settlers. And thanks mainly to the financial, military and diplomatic support that your country provides to Israel.
Even the former Israeli prime minister, Ehud Olmert sounds more fair-minded than Ms Rice and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who called the vote “unfortunate and counterproductive”. Mr Olmert wrote, “I see no reason to oppose it.”
Perhaps Mac Deford, a retired US foreign service officer writing in the Global Post, is right in wondering why the US “bother[s] to have embassies in the Arab World any more …since our diplomacy consists primarily of…blindly supporting whatever Israel wants at whatever cost to our strategic interests in the Arab world.”
Assured of the US policy of letting Israel get away with anything, a mere one day after the UN vote the Israeli cabinet authorised the construction of 3,000 more housing units in the occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank, and commenced zoning and planning in the highly sensitive and contentious E-1 area of East Jerusalem. And to inflict immediate financial pain on the Palestinians, Israel seized $ 120 million of this month’s tax money that belongs to Palestine.
Although it might seem like the behaviour of the street bully who bashes a child and then damages his bicycle too to show its anger, there is a method to this madness. While the world talks, the UN votes, Europe ‘deplores’ and the US ‘disapproves’, Israel grabs more and more Palestinian land. Lest the world has not taken notice of his actions, Mr Netanyahu also thundered: “No matter how many hands are raised against us there is no power on earth that will cause me to compromise on Israel’s security.” This from the prime minister of a country with a population of 7.6 million (a quarter of whom are non-Jewish Arabs), ranked 97th in the world, about the same as Eritrea, Togo or Laos, and a GNP of $ 237 billion (world ranking: 52), less than a third that of Taiwan ($ 875 billion), less than half that of Egypt ($ 519 billion) or Pakistan ($ 488 billion), even less than Bangladesh ($ 283 billion). What is more, he threatens Iran, with a population of about 80 million and a GNP of $ 990 billion!
It is hard to see how Israel can continue to defy the world and persist in its policy of aggression, annexation and occupation, even with US support. The vote count — and, may I add, the writing — are on the wall. The Palestinian flag is flying in the United Nations. Transcending political, religious, racial and ethnic differences, the international community has spoken with a very strong voice, a far stronger voice than the one that had said yes to the founding of the state of Israel in 1947. That vote was 33 for and 13 against (with 10 abstentions).
