Now The Khawaja-sras Bashing by Soldiers and Civilians- Beware
In the aftermath of attack on Pakistan Army and indeed, the Armed Forces in general by the two direct raiders, now being called Khawaj-sra Asif and Saad Rafiq, many angry comments are being heard. The 3rd raider Pervaiz Rashid, has not acquired any new name but is also being loaded with un-parliamentary attributes by many. Many includes soldiers, some very hot-headed, former soldiers, civilians and those who hate Nawaz Sharif knowing his background and antics during the previous two tenures.
The leading debate is, who is behind it.

Most think it is the PM who, as has been his habit, has unleashed these Khawaj-sras when he was proceeding abroad. During PPP regime, he invariably left the country to avoid such moments when difficult clarifications or his views would be sought. The wrath against NS is building but pending his return and then response, most people are trying to be patient.
However, General Gilani who appointed Nawaz Sharif, a tout minister and how this man grew under the patronage of a military dictator without any regret is being being frequently mentioned. He is accused of drilling holes in the very plate from which he ate! Typical Urdu example, but used with many expletives!
Information Minister, Pervaiz Rashid is losing respect as he tries to sugar coat the Khawaj-sras’ verbal assault on Armed Forces. However as yet he is receiving only a few unkind words in passing from many. He is trying to cool down the tempers of the soldiers and former soldiers but the anger generated by the Khawaja-sras is so great that his soft talk is also maligning him as an accomplice.
The full fury of anger is directed at the older Khawaja-sra and the younger called Saad. Khawaja Safdar’s obedient role during General Ziaul Haq’s rule is remembered and he is called as lackey of a military dictator. His son Asif, who used to be a clerk in Bank, is now seen with contempt who abuses Army, and indeed, indirectly abuses his own father who was a front man of Zia when a fake National Assembly was brought into being.
But then some say, Khawaja Safdar had NOT married the woman who gave birth to Asif, later known as Khawaja-sra Asif. That makes Asif a bastard. If this is true, then, of course, it is understandable that he would disgrace the Army, whom his ‘father’ obediently served and saw nothing wrong with that.
Saad Khawaja-sra, is considered a shade less than a bastard, although there is no talk of his mother not being married to his father.
Then there are massive expletives, which are better omitted, every time these Khawaja-sras are mentioned. Some even considered doing more than just counter verbally. Khawaja-sras will do well to increase their protection.
Of course, if they have even an iota of self respect they Must Not ask Rangers or Army to provide protection.
Some thought the elder Khawaja-sra MUST resign the appointment of being Defence Minister. How can his self esteem allow him to head Pakistan Armed Forces who in his spoken words are so awfully un-patriotic, corrupt, ruling over likes of him like Zamindars over Tillers and incapable of defending the country?
By staying in his post, he only gets tainted in the same terrible light that he tried to paint the Armed Forces in.
Khawaja-sras and their mentor visiting China, would do well to leash their tongues, educate themselves about the limits of their powers and beware of some hot-headed soldier, serving or retired does not matter, who might decide to vindicate the honor of Pakistan Military.
Beware Khawaj-sras.
